New Vendors in High Isle
I am having an issue with TTC. "Unknow kiosk NPC name innryk. Please report it to TTC author on ESOUI or email [email protected]." I have tried emailing but an unable to deliver message was received. This has been going on for several weeks. I have uninstalled and reinstalled TTC and now cannot scan the listing while standing at the vendor innryk in high isle. I had no clue what is going on.

Just wanted to add that if you are trying to use Windows 11, then the automatic use of OneDrive for the documents folder can cause a host of problems with addons and especially executables related to addons. In that case, you want to make sure you are not backing up that folder to OneDrive.

Clarifying question
Can I use this add-on to see in game what traders to go to to buy something? My computer is a bit slow, so alt+tabbing doesn't really work that well and I have some some issues with the layout of the website on my phone.

Just a wild guess as I had that happening in the past:
Try to allow the total folder \users\...\documents\elder scrolls online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre within your AntiVirus tool. If the tool got some ransome ware protection also add that folder and subfolders there to the whitelist. Sometimes the antivirus is blocking the access to the PriceTable*.lua file or any other file in the client folder (lua.dll e.g.), and only allowing the TTC client.exe will not work then.

Getting Client.exe to properly connect and update itself would still be preferable, and that needs to be the goal here, but I do very much appreciate the workaround for the time being

TTC Client.exe can't connect to get pricing data...
Hello,
For the past couple of days TTC Client.exe returns an error that says "Fail to update item price. Please check your network connection and make sure your antivirus is not denying this application's write access to the current folder" I have double and triple checked that Client.exe is whitelisted in both my antivirus and firewall programs. I also am certain that I have full network connectivity (including access to the esoui website and the game itself). I have also tried running Client.exe as administrator, and I have tried reinstalling the TTC addon through minion and then also tried completely uninstalling it, deleting the saved data for it, and reinstalling it again. None of this has resolved the issue. Does anyone have any ideas of what else I can try/check to get this resolved? Is there an IP address for the pricing update that I could use with traceroute to try and determine exactly where the disconnect is occurring? Thanks. |
