Global trade search tool needs YOUR help.

By running our addon and client. Your guild listings as well as any item you seen by using guild store search function will be automatically upload to the site for other people to search and browse. The collected data will also be used to generate price info for everyone~

If you want to contribute more to the community or if you wish to help boosting up your guild's sale by uploading an entire guild's listings, you are more than welcome to do so!

Here are some screen shoots of the site, addon and client

Install Instruction:

1. Download and unzip the files under ESO addon folder (default is Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns) Or you can install it with Minion
2. When you are playing ESO, run the client executable (client.exe) under Client folder
3. Enjoy the game

In game API
1. To get TTC's price info simply do TamrielTradeCentrePrice:GetPriceInfo(itemLink)
This will return a TamrielTradeCentre_PriceInfo Object
Code:
{
       Avg,
       Max,
       Min,
       EntryCount, --# of listings
       AmountCount, --total # of items
SuggestedPrice --suggested price low. Suggested high = SuggestedPrice * 1.25
}
2. To get TTC's internal item information (various internal Ids)
TamrielTradeCentre_ItemInfo:New(itemLink)

Q:How does this addon work?
The addon collects all the item listings that you seen in the guild store and uploads them to the site. The site then uses all the data collected by all players to generate price info for everyone.
You can also use the website to search for the location of an item using way better filter than the default Guild store GUI. But it is not guarantee the item is still there since low price items tends to get sold fast. You will have to use your own judgment based on the last seen column to predict whether its still available.

Q:How is the suggested price calculated?
1. Remove outliers
2. AVG(price of the lowest 30% items) * 0.8

Q:Whats the difference between average/suggested price vs sales average?
Average/suggested price are calculated using listing data while sales average is calculated using actual sales data. Both listing and sales data are collected from all TTC users across all guilds.

Q: How fresh is the pricing data?
Very fresh! Naw im kidding, its based on Data from yesterday

Q: How big is TTC
It uses around 6mb of RAM for pricing info and around 20mb at most for entries you have seen.

Detailed Instruction
FAQ

1. Added back the price to chat language options
2. Added a steam button in Client's start options
3. Opening a second instance of the client will now bring the running instance to front instead of panic

2. No longer adds divider if no price info is available

Client 3.24 Release Notes:

4. Fixed an issue causing last updated string to show up in native client's locale instead of target locale when using price to chat with a different locale than the native one.

Client 3.23 Release Notes:
1. Fixed two compatibility issues with Awesome Guild Store (more to come later)
a) Price not showing in store page when AGS is enabled
b) UI error when trying to purchage item when AGS is enabled
2. Updated the logic for personal listings to be consistant with community scanned ones. Last seen for personal listings will only get updated when user opens the guild store and click on the listings tab or when user lists new item/remove existing item from the store. (Used to be based on user's last login. However ZOS's API seems to skip some entries and thus causing the cached version to be unreliable. Causes more confusion than good to use the login time due to this)
3. Fixed an issue causing price to chat to show up multiple times when the language of the current client's locale is selected
4. Uses sub menu for price to chat when there is more than one language selected
5. Removed the one time guild store scan due to point 2

P.S. due to some backend structure change the saved settings will be reset. Your price data will stay safely since its downloaded from the server.

Client 3.22 Release Notes:

3. Added the ability to do price to chat in different languages regardless of client's locale

Known issue: The new ESO Guild Store UI has a bug which it will not update the UI listings when the search is initiated with API calls. Thus you are going to see the search result panel stay the same thru out the whole scan process.

P.S. New items will be added in batch. Thanks for your patience.

5. other small fixes

Client 3.10 Release Notes:
1. Uses file lock instead of Mutex since Avast hates Mutex after fall creator's update. TTC should be able to live happily with Avast again (Tested on Win 10 fall creator and Win 7 latest with Avast Free)

Angry Why vague updater?!

"Update"
"Latest version is required to ensure TTC's data accuracy"

[yes] [no]

...took me a ton of Google to realize it was this mod. Do you know how many acronyms on Google use TTC?

Can you please add more info to be less vague and less spyware-looking?

Suggestion

I was wondering if it is possible to have TTC record the pages that I look at on the guild traders, without having to do a full scan of that trader. Many times I will go looking for an item that was last updated two hours ago and it's gone. I figure that with all the people using TTC this would be a great way to keep the database more up to date.

I am using the German client.
Should be available now. Usually it takes minimum of 4 days to show up in game after the item is released.

1 day for samples, 1 day to record it in database, 1 day to collect listing data in game (web search is available on this day). And then price will be available in game onward.
Thank you cyxui, I see some of the items now

I don't think I can just say if you are on Linux/Mac then you are totally on your own. Hence Windows only for now.

Another idea is to create a light weight wrapper around the web client. Maybe something like a nodejs version. It is still under investigation.
it's okay I 100% understand
99% of the time modders mod as a hobby and release it out of the kindness of their hearts
and while i'm dissapointed that the gui method is broken on linux, the silver lining is that the web client still provides a method to upload my data and download the latest files while i'm at it
i can't in good conscience ask someone who already donates their free time to make a mod i use to essentially double their workload for a microscopic percentage of their player base.

while 4.7.2 has not had any public testing done at all and 4.8 has a rating of "garbage"

however if i understand correctly if a program were built against "mono" which is an open source multi platform dot net framework implementation(which is natively compatible with existing dot net framework installations), the hacky workaround of installing a version of the dot net framework using proton-tricks would be completely unneeded as mono is natively supported by WINE and by extension Proton
an alternative to targeting mono is to target either ".NET 5.0" or ".NET Core 3.1" both found here which now have native package support by microsoft on the linux platform

Broken Version: 4.4.190.27381

Released: June 12th, 2021

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dot...er=4.0.30319.0
which most likely means that dot net framework 4.7.2 failed to install under proton which is not a surprise.
let me know if there is any logs you would like me to try and grab, but as a reminder i'm not on windows, i'm on linux using proton
Sorry to hear that.

I dont know what the community rating is about but the reason to up the .net version is because the security protocal used by 4.5 and 4.6 are out dated (deprecated around 2018) and both 4.5/4.6 will reach their end of life in just 5 months from now.

About the mono/.net 5/.net core part. There is a big catch to that. The cross platform only works if you don't have any OS dependent references. TTC uses WPF for the UI and it stands for Windows Presentation Framework. As the name suggests it has a Windows OS dependency and that will not compile under linux as of today.

I thought about making a command line version of TTC as well. But I consider the whole process to be too complicated for most users and it does not justify the time required to maintain a third repo.

The process is somewhere similar to

1. install git
2. install .net core
3. clone the git repo
4. clone the git submodule repo
5. build the solution
6. copy output files to your ESO addon folder
7. run the output exe using .net core run command

update process will be similar to
1. git fetch
2. git update
3. git update submodule
4. build the solution
5. copy output files to your ESO addon folder
the community rating works like this

(platinum): works perfectly with zero workarounds
(gold): works perfectly but requires workarounds
(silver): mostly works with a few bugs and may or may not require workarounds
(bronze): somewhat works, but a lot of functionality is broken
(garbage)/(borked): doesn't function, even with workarounds

if you're comfortable with releasing the source code, compiling and running a CLI client that doesn't require WPF from a git repo is something i'm very capable of if i knew where the repo was located.
if you're not comfortable releasing it, i completely understand that feeling myself, as it can be a hassle and bring on various headaches related to code theft, and entitlement from your user base. it's why i never release any of my work publicly.

either way,
cheers!

Tried windows client a couple of times, as well as web client.

Looks like someone launched a DDoS attack against the server. still investigating

I am using the German client.
Should be available now. Usually it takes minimum of 4 days to show up in game after the item is released.

1 day for samples, 1 day to record it in database, 1 day to collect listing data in game (web search is available on this day). And then price will be available in game onward.

while 4.7.2 has not had any public testing done at all and 4.8 has a rating of "garbage"

however if i understand correctly if a program were built against "mono" which is an open source multi platform dot net framework implementation(which is natively compatible with existing dot net framework installations), the hacky workaround of installing a version of the dot net framework using proton-tricks would be completely unneeded as mono is natively supported by WINE and by extension Proton
an alternative to targeting mono is to target either ".NET 5.0" or ".NET Core 3.1" both found here which now have native package support by microsoft on the linux platform

Broken Version: 4.4.190.27381
Released: November 2nd, 2021

Last Working Version: 4.3.634.12843
Released: June 12th, 2021

error message is
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dot...er=4.0.30319.0
which most likely means that dot net framework 4.7.2 failed to install under proton which is not a surprise.
let me know if there is any logs you would like me to try and grab, but as a reminder i'm not on windows, i'm on linux using proton

(garbage)/(borked): doesn't function, even with workarounds

if you're comfortable with releasing the source code, compiling and running a CLI client that doesn't require WPF from a git repo is something i'm very capable of if i knew where the repo was located.
if you're not comfortable releasing it, i completely understand that feeling myself, as it can be a hassle and bring on various headaches related to code theft, and entitlement from your user base. it's why i never release any of my work publicly.

either way,
cheers!

I still don't see any tooltips of the new Deadland set items (e.g. Hexos' Ward Bracers).

As an update on this, looks like it is working now.

The newest version of the TTC client on Windows 7 doesn't work. Complains that it can't download the price updates blaming the virus scanner when it is not even running. The previous version of TTC client worked just fine.
