I have bug where if you try to scroll with the left click instead of the middle mouse scroll the game laggs and sometimes crashes making me lose books collected before logout.
I have another bug where if I try to open something while librarian is on the screen it gives me a UI error

Perhaps add this to options, so one can choose to have it in the chat-box or the screen itself ?

AstroCat: Some books you pick up go into your quest inventory and must be opened and read from the quest inventory to update in Librarian. Not sure if what you found qualifies, just noting a limitation I've found.No, this was just a "normal" Lorebook (one needed for Mage guild). All others have worked except this one. Very odd....

No problem, anything to help. I always found reading lore/books in all the elder scrolls games to give the game so much more depth but was completely annoyed by no in game tracking of what I've read or trying to recall what one book/note was even about.
Thus, this addon is something I hope you enjoy doing and improving throughout...

yeah but normally i just remove the old version completelly first then put the new one in. that would ruin it wouldnt it? so now i should basically just throw the new version ontop?
Removing the addon files and then installing the new version is fine. If you remove the SavedVariables though, you will lose your library.

I always write the addon updates to that it should seamlessly update your library without any loss of data, so there shouldn't be anything you need to worry about when a new version is released. That said, I know how upset I'd be if I lost my Lib...

24 hour clock is in. There is a settings menu you can use to switch between 12 and 24 hour time formats.

could you make it so it also adds a copy of the already learned motif books? because every person is basically missing at least 1 book because of their race. not to mention people already finding and using motifs before getting this addon.
Also i myself would prefer if it didn't add actual lorebook because the game itself already...

its called eidetic memory and lets you reread every single book you have read during the game.

You could try to parse the Native Library when no Data is found to include those Books - as an idea.
If I remember correctly you can go there by using
SCENE_MANAGER:Show("library")
Edit: Hm no thats the wrong string you'll have to search trought trial an error (the function doesn't throw an error)....

Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware, it isn't possible to query which books you have already read, unless another dev can point...
