Re: Re: Re: Re: Update...
Short of that, the old "disable everything except the addon you are testing and enable things one at a time until it breaks" is one of the best troubleshooting methods we have. Try loading MRL by itself and it should definitely work as in the video. You can re-enable one addon at a time, doing /reloadui between each to see what makes it break. I opted not to go the saved variables route as MRL saved variables are already huge, but that isn't a terrible idea. There is also the limitation of needing to reload the UI to save them but I guess the interface could do that automatically. I think the feature to instantly save variables would explode if sent that much data. I may expand/change the export function at a later time. Meanwhile if people find that more information is needed in the current export I can easilly add it. |

Re: Re: Re: Update...
Any idea what else to check? (Funny thing, just the night before your update, I have coded a simple crude export add-on working a bit differently -- it dumps the data into saved vars. I dump a rather different bunch of fields, too, including recipe and result item codes, and whether it is known or not.) |

Re: Re: Update...
As you can see in the video the functions are behaving as expected on the current live version of the game client. Having eliminated the above potential source of incompatibility, I recommend deleting the \Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\MasterRecipeList folder with the game and launcher completely closed, and manually downloading and reinstalling the latest version of MRL.

Update...
NOTE: Open the new export interface by typing "/mrlexport" in chat without quotes. The tooltips within the Export UI currently only display in English, however the actual exported recipe names will be in whatever language your game client is in.

Hello Phinix,
nice to hear from your german origin I bet you know, why I'm posting today Yes, you're right: In german version, we are insructed to craft "Hasen in Knoblauchsoße". But the recipe itself is called: "Hase inKnoblauchsoße" therefore the automatically crafting robot refuses his job All the best, Phinix alanasaba |

I have been noticing the addon does not always update itself after a char learns a bunch of new recipes.
For instance in the inventory window where there are multiples of the same recipe with the green tick displayed then after learning one of the them the green tick remains and mousing over such a recipe still shows not learned for that char. I found that if i learned the ones in the inventory with multiples then some of the green ticks clear and some remain. By learning a single recipe so it disappears this will clear the green ticks left on the multiple ones. I tried doing a /reloadui after learning a bunch of recipes but later found while shopping on another char i had purchased recipes that were shown not learnt were in fact learnt so the /reloadui was not effective. I suppose a relog after learning recipes is the sure way and I guess I will do that from now on. Anyway, just reporting on what I am seeing, thanks for your work on this addon Edit: I click on the recipes to learn very quick. Is it possible I am doing too quick for the addon?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Error after Update 26 installation
I love the German language. My grandparents moved to America from Germany before I was born, and the big push in school in California was to learn Spanish, but I still enjoy hearing people speak German despite mostly not understanding them. Thanks again for the report, should be fixed in the latest version.

another missing recipe in autocrafting :)
Hello Phinix,
I discovered another recipe that doesn't work with automatically crafting. I think it's the same problem as last time, concerning the complicate german language It's "eltherischer Fusel". The request though is written: Craft some "eltherischen Fusel"! I know, it's a mess with our grammer (ask our german schoolboys and girls ^^). All the best, Alanasaba |

Re: Missing
Just checked and this is a problem with ZOS's German translation being inconsistent. The quest text says to craft "klaren Syrahwein" while the actual recipe/item is spelled "Klarer Syrahwein." The different capital letters are no problem (simple string.lower() command fixes that) but when they actually spell things inconsistently it does cause pattern matching to fail. I wish there was a way to get the recipe or item link required to craft a writ from the quest itself but alas, all we have available in the API is the text string and text string matching for multiple language clients is can be really troublesome. Still I will hopefully be able to fix it quickly... EDIT: Should be fixed in the latest release.

Missing "Klarer Syrahwein" in Autocraft Option
Hello Phinix,
first I would like to thank you for your great work with this very helpfull addon. Did you already noticed that there is one recipe missing being crafted automatically: "Klarer Syrahwein" (sry, it's the german version I play.) I think it's the "Clarified Syrah Wine" in the english version. In the MRL List it is listed and remarked correctly as learned or not. By this time it's the only recipe I found not working correctly being crafted automatically. It's not that big problem. I just wanted you to know about. Keep on the good work! All the best.
