PLEASE HELP! I've still been dealing with my 28 year old brother passing and now my father is in the hospital with a major stroke that has paralyzed his entire left side. My disability was reduced to $629 recently, and trying to make it between home and where he is (about 100 miles one-way) is tough. I need to be with him though. If there is anything you can do to help it would mean a lot. (6-19-24) |

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Can't Cook!
My understanding of the saved variable is:
Of course it all works fine without band-aids after the V15 recipes are added to the data tables (19 of them require updating) and the main code is changed to account for the 44 new recipes. Those changes are extensive though, especially for the data tables since it isn't just a matter of adding the new recipe data at the end of each file. Quite doable, just time consuming. |

Update 1.37
Greetings,
Apologies for the delay in updating my addons. I have been in and out of the hospital and facing difficult life changes due to what is known as a Brain Cavernoma, which is basically a malformation of blood vessels believed to be caused by an early little legue injury that is now causing persistent bleeding in my brain. My head. The symptoms, including chronic fatigue, difficulty speaking (word salad) and feinting have led to the revoking of my driver's license and inability to work, yet due to my age I have been denied any disability benefit and therefor, am facing eminent homelessness. I've managed to spend the last few days slowly going over my code and updating to the latest ESO, though it is difficult for me to concentrate and I don't even play ESO anymore since they have gone in a direction I cannot support with the emphasis on aggressive corpse-looting PVP and catering to grinding an unfair advantage with no fair mechanic for new players to catch up... Regardless, I take pride in my work and wanted to make this right with the latest recipes. All Veteran 15 recipes are now included. Ones added but not yet available in-game are marked with an asterisk (*). I don't know how often I will be able to stop by here and reply to requests. If you can find it in your hearts (or bank accounts) to offer any help, it would certainly be appreciated. Of course you are by no means obligated, and I hope you continue to enjoy the addon in any case. Best, -Phinix |

Re: Update 1.37
I would recommend looking for a "disability/Social Security" lawyer in your area, and consulting with them. Sometimes you need to push a lot to get onto disability. I was lucky enough to be allowed on disability in my early 20s because I went through a person who specifically worked through my hospital with Social Security. This made the arduous process very simple. Do you have any family members or friends who could help with contacting someone who could help with the application process? I wish you luck and send you hope for a recovery/stabler situation. |

We paid into this system and deserve it, the illegals don't. I could say more but don't want to start a political discussion on these great forums. |

You can track ingredients though, ingredients marked as tracked will show a tick beside them(in the inventory and loot window). It does not scan all your known recipes to check if one ingredient is a match(what you were asking for), that would be a costly operation to ask of the addon(check every recipe i know to see if any contain this one ingredient - it's just unrealistic to make that a feature for performance reasons imho). |

This was their professional determination: "You are unable to work because of bleeding in the brain, seizures, syncope, confusion, fatigue, and difficulty speaking and concentrating. After reviewing all the medical and other information available, we have determined that, based on your age, you should still be able to work." The average wait for a court hearing is 12-24 months. Obviously, they know that most people will run out of money and just quietly go away by then. It is a convenient way to simply throw away people that have given decades of their lives working and paying into the system the second they aren't currently making money, without having to overtly say so. They just delay and deny until the "problem" goes away. Sure am glad I paid tens of thousands in taxes working in the tech industry to pay for social programs for illegals though, or whomever the heck those dollars are going to. Nice to know all those years of my life were spent so SOMEONE could benefit.

I would agree with seeking a disability lawyer. There are young people and middle-aged people on disability as well, but they REALLY had to fight for it. Speaking in the past with some who are disabled and on disability, basically they reject EVERYone on their first application. You have to keep applying and keep persisting until they see you aren't trying to screw them over or scam them, that you really do have a disabling medical issue, and that you really do need assistance.
It's a complete shxt, but don't give up. A lawyer who specializes in disability cases should be able to review your medical records and help you figure out what steps to take. You may also want to consider applying for SNAP benefits (food stamps), and medicaid coverage (though that's kind of the same hassle, not easy to get on the first try). Hope things work out for you.

Icon conflict with Craft Store.
When using MRL with CraftStore's Cooking utility, there is a conflict in icon placement that makes CraftStore's category icons unclickable (see screenshot attachment). I don't know if the problem is in MRL or in CraftStore. Can this somehow be fixed or alleviated, or should I post this in the comment section for CraftStore?
Thanks. PS: Thanks for your excellent work so far. Get well soon! |
