PLEASE HELP! I've still been dealing with my 28 year old brother passing and now my father is in the hospital with a major stroke that has paralyzed his entire left side. My disability was reduced to $629 recently, and trying to make it between home and where he is (about 100 miles one-way) is tough. I need to be with him though. If there is anything you can do to help it would mean a lot. (6-19-24) |

That means you can be playing on your alt, and select to track for your main provisioner, and it will give you icons for all the recipes that character doesn't know yet, as opposed to the current. It defaults to tracking the current character. I also added the option to not display the grey "already known" icons when in this mode. Many many more changes including (finally) hooking into the provisioning station to color-code the categories and optionally add stat buff icons to the headers, and also auto-highlighting of current writs (on the category and recipe item itself). There are basically two approaches to optimizing an addon for use with a specific event:
ESO Master Recipe List handles the later. Granted, there are certain addons such as loot managers that delete certain items you loot based on filter settings, or Loot Drop type addons that display statistics about every looted item, that could potentially benefit from such throttling, though most of these will also not be related to bank crashes because they apply the same checks as ESOMRL, specifically the "isNewItem" check. To understand what this means, consider the following values are available to the function return of the EVENT_SINGLE_SLOT_UPDATE event (meaning any addon which registers for this event has these values sent to whatever function they specify whenever the event fires): Code:
eventCode, bagId, slotId, isNewItem, itemSoundCategory, updateReason ESOMRL only uses EVENT_SINGLE_SLOT_UPDATE for the auto-junk and auto-delete feature for ingredients and recipes, and there are several checks including "isNewItem" which will prevent any of the function code from ever running if these criteria are not met. For example, if the item is added to your inventory from a bank and not from a monster or loot source in the world, the function doesn't run. If the item is not a recipe or ingredient, the function doesn't run. If Roomba is running, if you are under arrest, or if the item is already marked as junk, the function doesn't run. There is very little overhead generated by the proper use of EVENT_SINGLE_SLOT_UPDATE to selectively parse specific items being added to the player in specific scenarios, as ESOMRL does. It isn't like ANY use of this function automatically breaks things! As I said there may be some addons that do a lot of work for every single item added to any inventory in any scenario, however ESOMRL isn't one of them. I do think it can be helpful for people who run a lot of addons (some of which might either be badly coded or have a real need to do a lot of processing on every single item you add to any inventory) and who's systems are already taxed to the limit in terms of memory and CPU usage to have a third party library do throttling on the entire workload of that addon. HOWEVER, I want to be clear (as others have mentioned) that not every addon will need to use this simply because they use EVENT_SINGLE_SLOT_UPDATE, nor will throttling in addons that are already properly coded prevent crashes related to CPU/memory bottlenecking. Tooltip not working in 1.34b
Fixed : I deleted SavedVariable ![]() That was the tooltip when you move mouse cursor on recipe in the main window of your addon. Was working for my alt character but not my main with all same settings for both characters. ------------------------------------

Since the default value is to show it, deleting the saved variables will show it again, but you should only have to toggle it back on with the button. Nothing changed in saved variables or tooltips between 1.34a and 1.34b. |

For now, it's until you got them in bag, so I grab them from bank with lot of other stuff, I saw them in my bag, i depose them in bank, i try to validate writ.. oops, and I go back to bank. ![]() PS: Could you try to switch you UI to a scene when you're not at cooking station or bag/bank ? It could be nicer and better. (you can use LibMainMenu guide and/or lib, it helps).

i have one request
can you add ability to HIDE(click on title) any category? So we can hide all category we have? Right now at least one category always expanded and click on the title can only expand hiden category, but not hide expanded one ![]() 2) when i press ESC to out from cooking fire addon window with recipes still open need to close it too =)

An exemple of scene is the "C" panel. One other is the "N" panel. Inventory, Bank, Craft panels too. etc. there is also the base scene, the one when your UI is not displayed. A Scene is composed of an XML TopLevelControl and scene manager handles the whole thing - Hide UI - Add Keybindstrip - Toggle mouse lock - Turn camera - etc. Scene can also be categories dependant. the handled in esoui by MAIN_MENU and emulated in addons by some libraries. AutoInvite, SuperStar, Potion Maker use that kind of thing. (LibMainMenu is intended to be here for addons which don't plug into an existing category). Using scenes in fact just give to the scene manager a large part of code to it. There's pors and cons, the por are above, the main con is that only 1 scene can be shown at 1 time (you can't display the C panel same time as bank). But it could be nice to have your UI displayed like that when you're not at crafting station or bank/guildbank/inventory. Just try one of the addons mentionned to see what you could do. PS: I'm sure that it could be integrated to Provisioning crafting station in some way ![]() |
