Re: Tooltip Request
@LoneStar2911 - Removing the original ingredients list from recipes is something I tried before, and just delved into again. Unfortunately the methods necessary are not exposed to the API. I thought I might be able to make a clever workaround but ZOS has all the sub-functions pretty well locked down in the required context.
For the other part, am I correct you are requesting to be able to show "Craftable By" in food/drink item tooltips, without showing "Known By" in recipe tooltips? That is definitely doable. |

Tooltip Request
Hi Phinix!!!! I'm glad you're back.
I have a request. You know how on all Food Recipes, Drink Recipes, and Furniture Recipes, there's a little part in the tooltip that says the "INGREDIENTS"? It's part of the base game. You see, I prefer to use ESO Master Recipe List's ingredient list on tooltips. Would it be possible to remove (or add an option to remove) those crummy vanilla ingredient lists from tooltips so that we only see the ones shown by this addon? Or would that have to be done for each individual item's tooltip? Because obviously that's ridiculous and I wouldn't request an undertaking like that. Also.... would you be willing to separate "known by" and "craftable by" settings? I don't need the "known by" stuff, but I would loooooove to keep the "craftable by" part.

I have never had this problem, and I do crafting writs every day. What level writs are you doing? Also are you sure you know both recipes? If you have debug on it should tell you if it fails due to lack of knowledge. |

Hi, i had never use the autocrafting function before, but since it's event and many characters, i wanted to try it but i see that it doesn't craft the second one item from quest, only the first one and even if it is already done

Hi hi!
I remade the Spanish translation from scratch (learned a lot since then ![]() Tested it out myself, every single option. Everything seems to work fine! https://drive.google.com/file/d/15uh...ew?usp=sharing Hope you could include it on the next version of the addon.

Re: Re: Sort by level at station...
There is a new arrow icon that shows up when the above setting is on and you are at a cooking station. ![]()

Re: Gamepad UI support?
Also the functionality to automatically mark items for FCO Item Saver when known/unknown doesn't work because that addon doesn't support gamepad mode. The game has a completely separate set of code for crafting stations in gamepad mode which would require re-writing all the hooks and functions to handle these features. I am not certain the same methods will actually work as the coding format is significantly different. If I am able to get my hands on a game pad and find the time to dig into this I'll give it a try. |

Gamepad UI support?
Could you please add support to show this information when using the gamepad UI as well? I've been looking for something like this forever. :/

Re: color of quantity value
Cool that you are 73 and playing ESO. I wish I could afford a gaming computer for my dad, and could convince him to get into the genre. ![]() So the data on recipe requirements and current owned ingredients can be gleaned thusly: Code:
GetItemLinkRecipeNumIngredients("[Recipe Item Link]") You can then loop through that total number of different ingredients needed with the following code to get the name, total owned of each ingredient, and the number of that ingredient needed per craft, for each unique requirement ("nIng" is just the output from the previous code snippet, but I include it again here just for clarity. Also, "recLink" is just a recipe link. However, if you input a recipe in code as the result of another function that returns the link to a variable, you don't have to include the quotes as the variable being a string makes them implicit): Code:
local nIng = GetItemLinkRecipeNumIngredients(recLink) for i = 1, nIng do local iName, iOwned, iReq = GetItemLinkRecipeIngredientInfo(recLink, i) d(iName) -- ingredient name d(iOwned) -- total of that ingredient you own d(iReq) -- number of that ingredient required to craft recipe end /script local nIng = GetItemLinkRecipeNumIngredients("[Recipe Link]") for i = 1, nIng do local iName, iOwned, iReq = GetItemLinkRecipeIngredientInfo(recLink, i) d(iName) d(iOwned) d(iReq) end All that said, I will meditate a bit on the possible best way to implement such a feature as you describe in the future. |

color of quantity value
I have been trying to figure out just which variable displays the quantity that can be made for any particular recipe. As a non-plus member, inventory control is important.
What I want to do is be able to flag values over 200 in a different color than white - my old eyes (I'm 73) are having trouble reading the number values and it would be a real advantage to me to be able to quickly see which recipes I can make and sell to get my ingredient stack count down to as close to one per recipe as possible. I used to program in Perl and Pascal, so I can probably make the modification to the LUA file if I knew which variable is used to display the count value. It would be even nicer if I had a menu option that only listed recipes with a count of over 200. But I suspect that would take major work. Thank you very much for your efforts in this addon. 73's Paulg N7UOJ |
