Re: Re: RE: Auto-craft...
@Maxxermax - This is very strange since the check for ingredients uses only game functions and no text matching, so there should be no instances where the ingredient is spelled wrong or not properly punctuated messing it up.
So far I cannot replicate this, and every writ I have done on PTS and Live has worked fine. The gold check marks being yellow is a separate issue and just a typo/oversite which will be fixed in the next release. But it is purely visual. All I can do now is set up a DC character on PTS at rank 1 improvement (that is where you craft the Baked Apples as a writ) and wait for that quest to come up, so it could take 2-3 days if I'm unlucky. Once I get the quest I will dig into what might be happening, if I can replicate the problem at that point. I am also looking into a different way of detecting writ quests however that does not appear to be the issue. It sounds like it does detect them correctly. Can you still open the category with the writ check at the cooking station and go directly to the correct item to craft?

Re: RE: Auto-craft...
The issue persists in the latest version 1.56.71. It also says MRL: You don't know to craft. But have the level and recipe learned. I changed the client for testing to English (US) Same issue. Also the colors of the letters change to standard "gold" if you hover over it.

Re: Necrom update 2...
Example here: For the recipe "Bratäpfel" (Baked Apples) I have enough "Äpfel" (Apples 824) and the knowledge of the recipe. If I craft it manually it works.
Warning: Spoiler
It also happend with "Surilie Syrah Wine". |

Also not sure if it was from this addon or Dolgubon's, but if I already had crafted food in my bank that would satisfy a provisioning writ, the food used to get marked, making it easy for me to see what I need without making that quest the active one. It's not doing that since today's update.
Sorry if that actually came from a different addon. |

I have sent the author some pointers but that is all I can do at this point. The problem with ESOMRL was previously only showing up on the PTS but it has apparently made it to the Necrom live patch. Here are some instructions to fix ESOMRL/addon compatibility. The general addon compatibility patch is a quick fix as it would really require re-doing IIfA's tooltip hooks to not globally modify game tooltips and instead, add some check to only apply modifications or hide tooltips for those actually generated by IIfA:
Warning: Spoiler
Hello again, hope all is well.
It looks like whatever was causing IIfA to block MRL tooltips on the PTS made it to the live Necrom patch. People are reporting that MRL tooltips are now being blocked on live. The problem is that IIfA has compatibility code for MRL that will not work as-is. This was probably written for a very old version of MRL. In InventoryInsight_Tooltip.lua starting at line 50, IIfA contains this code:
Warning: Spoiler
Code:
--[[TODO Added for Master Recipe List, refine this if possible]]-- if ESOMRL then local originalPopupTooltipCall = PopupTooltip["SetLink"] PopupTooltip["SetLink"] = function(control, itemLink) IIfA.TooltipControl = control IIfA.TooltipLink = IIfA:SetItemLinkBrackets(itemLink) local masterRecipeTooltip = IIfA.TooltipControl == ESOMRL_MainFrameRecipeTooltip originalPopupTooltipCall(control, itemLink) if masterRecipeTooltip then IIfA:UpdateTooltip(IIfA.TooltipControl) end end end In function IIfA:UpdateTooltip on line 592, IIfA checks if the inventory contains any of the item link, and hides the tooltip if not. But since this is done in a hooked game function and not code specific to IIfA, it does this for ALL tooltips not just the IIfA tooltips. Replacing game functions with limitations that apply to addons is never a good idea. Further, the compatibility code for MRL won't work even for items you DO have in your inventory in the current form. Line 573 that checks self:getLastLink(tooltip) will currently return nil for MRL's tooltips. This will require further investigation and modification of the MRL compatibility code if you want to be able to add IIfA info to the MRL gui tooltips for which you actually have the item in your inventory, however since this is such an outlier for use-case the safest route would be to simply comment the non-functional MRL compatibility code I linked above until it can be revised. This will allow IIfA to function for everything it should (any item tooltip NOT specifically generated within MRL or another addon's gui), while also leaving MRL's tooltips alone so they can be shown even when IIfA is installed. EDIT: Line 593 in InventoryInstight_Tooltip.lua should also be commented as it will break ANY addon's tooltips if you do not currently have the item in question in your inventory. It should be sufficient to simply return out of the function if IIfA has nothing to do. EDIT EDIT: From one of your previous replies asking why you should do this. It is because you are using a global hook that modified ALL generated tooltips, not just tooltips generated by IIfA. If this was only being applied to IIfA tooltips it would not be necessary. But as it is the code is hiding any item tooltip that isn't in your inventory regardless if the tooltip is from IIfA or not, which will break any other addon that tried to generate tooltips for things not currently in your inventory. I am looking into the other issues created by the patch. However I can't currently afford Necrom or a monthly sub, and am limited to working on the PTS. Further ESO will not lett you test with Arcanist unless you have paid for it on live even on the PTS. This shouldn't prevent me from updating this addon however, since nothing affecting it has anything to do with the new class. |

It seems auto-crafting writs doesn't work anymore since the update. I'd guess the new tab for filleting fish has something to do with it.

Whenever I highlight a recipe the right-hand box no longer appears displaying details about it. It has been a while since I last used the addon so idk if this is due to something ZOS changed that has "broken" the addon or not.
