Exterminatus.eu Presents Rainbow Reticle

Author: Mitazaki
Guild: Exterminatus ( Ebonheart Pact )

NEW in v0.9
> Show names for other targets in the world <
> Health Min/Max numbers and Percentages <

The Rainbow Reticile Add on with help you identify targets in game by coloring your reticle certain colors depending on what you are looking at.

In addition to this the character name of friends, guild mates and grouped players will be shown above the reticle.

This will make it easy to identify friends and guild members when there is quite a few players around and should make PVPing in groups a little easier too.

Hostile Mobs
Neutral Mobs
Friends
Guild Members
Group Members
0.9
- Added Health numbers and health percentages to right of the reticle. This can be enabled or disabled.
- Added level indicator next to name. This also can be toggled on or off.
- Tweaked the option menu.
- You can now toggle on and off name plates for different types of targets.

Fixed a problem with the directory structure. This was causing bugs with those that didn't already use certain libraries in other addons. Thx jnzooger.

Minor Fixes and changes

0.12
This update is mainly to address some problems with the addon and get it working properly. I'm still kinda ill but will be working on finishing off some new features that were suggested.
  • Text should no longer be display when looking at stuff.
  • Guild tags removed. I felt it was pointless to indicate the target was in your guild then show you the guild you are in anyway.
  • Added Groups to color and can now show group player names
  • Started adding options in the settings menu. For now you can disable all text and just use the colors or you can disable group names. More will be added with next main patch.

0.12
Fixed text not being removed when switching to menus etc.

npc reticle, maybe the info in the bottom of the reticle (or possibility to setting)

every addon of this list change the reticle and cannot work together.
I would like to second this. There are many reticle mods out there, but I have been using Rainbow since the beginning. Would love to see some of these implemented so I can get rid of the others.
I'm gonna talk to other authors to see about getting a range indicator. It's quite complex todo and get working 100% .

WOW, I Really like where this addon is going. THANKS!!

Also, I love the Rainbow text for your entry under settings nice touch!

this has been hit on, but ya, the range would be nice (for ranged players). What I was going to mention was that the range from Wykkyd Settings gets covered over by the new info - but don't drop your info, I like what you've added (and the option to turn those features on/off in settings)

So glad to see this was updated. I love this addon. One request, though not sure if it's feasible, would be to have an option to vary the Reticle's Guild color for each guild you are in. I'd love to be able to set a slightly different color for my RP guild and one for my main guild so I can tell members apart.

Thanks for your hard work on this. Great addon!

Hi.

Thank you for addon. It's great.

I liked old style when you saw only someone name and guild, can you add settings to this addon? And options to turn on/off HP/guild?
Nevermind, just downloaded upgrade and it's under settings.

And nevermind again... :P There is no option to show someone guild. Can you add it to the setings like it was before?

Latest Update?

Rainbow updated and now my xhairs are smaller as is the text and its all jumbled. any hints? is this an addon conflict or is it a rainbow problem?

****** EDIT ********

Looks like its a Wykkid problem, looking into it further.

Seems like its Wykkid full immersion issue, continuing to nail down the problem.

its the reticle scale if its set to 100 its small and everything piles up, if its set to 120 its normal and everything is okay. might want to check into this.

Sizes

Could we see a feature with changes to text size and font? Or putting a larger visible health bar up with the percent?

I'd love something like this, also a way to not show specific guilds? I don't care if I see one of the people in a trade guild I have but I'd love to know if it was a member of my normal guild.

Leader Indicator

For those that were requesting some form of group leader indicator / icon etc I am about to upload a new addon called "Follow The Leader". This addon has a satnav style arrow pointer that keeps you on the right direction if you need to follow the leader .

How?

I've read all of the comments and see people mentioning settings. But there is no expand/collapse on the Add-ons list ingame for this mod and I haven't seen any /slash command offered in the addon's description or anywhere in the comments. So how do I view the settings?

Maybe you need to scroll down the settings list ?

No one else has told me of any bugs with the settings menu so I'm not sure what this issue is and still works for me but maybe there is a conflict.

Really like the addon.

I have guild members who are also in my friends list and it shows them as blue. Anyway to prioritise guilds over friends please?

Many thanks

For whatever reason, I had to uninstall and re-install to get this addon to work.

Haven't tried uninstall/reinstall, but when I turn options on and exit the menu......they revert to off the next time I go into the menu.
