Re: Saved logins...
I do have CCleaner run on startup though, and so I've unchecked "Cookies" in IE and Edge. That sounds like the likely cause. Thanks. |

Saved logins...
If you are using a "cleanup" program like CCleaner to clear out old temp and junk files on your computer, it will delete these saved passwords unless you go into the settings of those programs (again under Internet Explorer section) and tell it not to. |

Recently, for some reason, the TTC client does not save my login details, and does not update automatically unless I open the client first manually from my system tray (which then asks me about uploading guild listings, then proceeding to the login).
I'm getting a bit tired of having to re-login every time I use my PC and getting the Google Authenticator code and all that. Anybody have any advice? Thanks in advance. |

Re: When the ESO game host bug doesn't show hired Guild Traders
It might seem logical to assume that if you are logged into the TTC website you should be able to just use an addon in-game to search there, heck some games like Secret World actually have their own in-game web browser, but those commands are simply not available in ESO. It does make up for it by having a lot of other cool things you can do with addons that these other games don't support, so it's a tradeoff. I agree it would be cool if they added some way to communicate with external applications in realtime, or between players to allow more complex data sharing addons (on an opt-in basis of course). Perhaps one day they will.

Re: When the ESO game host bug doesn't show hired Guild Traders
But! you can walk to the actual trader NPC and scan all will work there. As for the last part. In order for you to be able to do search in game everyone would need to download 10GB+ of data every couple hours. AND the minimum requirement would be 16GB + ram which is not feasible ... |

When the ESO game host bug doesn't show hired Guild Traders
Since the "maintenance patch" on 26 April 2018, the Guild UI reports that no Guild Trader has been hired regardless of whether, in fact, the Guild does have a Trader. One consequence is that TTC will not allow us to use the feature to automatically search an entire Guild Store listing of items for sale, and capture the data with the TTC add-on.
When this happened in the past, I overcame it by manually searching a Guild Store while using the "All" category. The add-on captured the data and the TTC client uploaded it to the server. As usual, after I searched each store, I used /reloadui to allow the TTC client to access the data captured by the add-on. However, when I performed those tedious, time-consuming searches yesterday, the add-on apparently did not capture the data, and no results from the searches were uploaded to the TTC server. I have examined the TTC add-on configuration, and did not find anything that would cause this to happen. As far as I could determine, it did capture the results of other, category-specific searches, both before and afterward, for all of the Guild Stores that I searched (including via Guild Traders). So, what was the problem? By the way, I always log-in to the TTC website before I run the TTC game client, then log-in to play the game. Recently the game client would query for my log-in credentials (either Windows or some other source reported some "script errors" but I dismissed them). Last week, the TTC client stopped showing a log-in dialg (because it was not secure -?-). Regardless, previously the log-in credentials were stored in the Sandboxie sandbox in which I run the TTC client, until the contents of its sandbox are deleted prior to a pending weekly system backup of all of the files on my computer system. So I expect to log-in again the next time that I run the TTC client afterward. No objection on my part. Regardless, it seems that if a player has logged-in to their account on the TTC website, the TTC game client should be notified when it runs, and allow the player to use the feature to search the entire store automatically.

Nothing is posting
Hi,
For awhile now I've noticed that the client isn't posting anything that I've scanned. In game when I try to use the "scan all" function, it tells me my trade guilds don't have a kiosk even though they very much do. Any insight? I'd really like to get this working again. The client log isn't throwing errors, and it will periodically tell me that I have the latest pricing table, but that's all it does. |

Source-code of the client
Hi,
all the available addons here on esoui are “open source” because everybody can take a look at the LUA-files. Unfortunately I can’t find any source files of the client in the client-folder. I this a closed source part? Before I will start this client I want to take a look at the source files too (I’m a professional software developer). So where can I find these files? Is there a github-repository or something like this? Regards RobbyCologne

Re: TTC 3.13 Client Error
As for the file changed probably has to do with how sandbox handles file IO and cache. which doesn't look like a big problem to me either. |
