Known Issues: v3.1.1.0

None.

3.0.0.2
Complete re-write of the addon. The re-written addon has the look and feel of the old version but the mechanics work much smoother and the code is optimized.
Migrated Addon to Ravalox' addon catalog.

2.3.5.2
Updated to support ESO 2.2.4

2.3.5.1
Updated to correct "T" key quest cycle behaviour. (with thanks to Circonian for his assistance!)
Completed quest steps (for quests with mutliple steps showing) will now be greyed out)

Known Issues:
* QT UI flashes on the screen during questgiver conversations (and assorted other times).
* Under certain circumstances, Crafting quests (certification and writs) cannot be selected
by mouse. They can still be cycled by "T" key or Journal menu.

I have a partial fix in the works for the flashing issue. Circonian had written a modification that corrects the flashing but the QT UI scrambles when the Journal menu is used to change quests or a new quest is added. I've put in additional code that corrects this but causes an additional update issue. (therefore this fix is a WIP)

Since the Cycling of the Crafting Writs is a sporadic issue (it's affecting only two of my characters on my client, so ... odd.) I will work towards a solution, but it will not be as high a priority. :-)

2.3.4.0
Corrected code to work with ZOS changes to internal quest tracker. (They are preparing for Gamepad and Keyboard integration causing changes to ZOS Quest source code.)

2.3.3.3
This update is to support ESOTU 2.1 (API 1.7)
**NOTE: This addon is currently broken. Additional code needs to change to make it compatible with ZOS' quest tracker API changes.

2.3.3.2
This update (2.3.3.2) only updates supporting documentation to reflect the transition from Wykkyd to Ravalox and Balkoth under the name of Exodus Code Group. The LUA addon/library code has not been changed.

I fixed the bugs I could reproduce. Hi, I'm human. I'm not a machine. It takes time to get things done.

It's an extremely old copy of the addon and funky things can, and will, happen. I cannot support or debug an old version of the addon (especially one that is several months old).

I'll give that a shot. I'm just kinda confused as to why I am having problems with ONE character and NONE of the others..

If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it, My screen looks naked without my quest tracker working and starting a new char on a new alliance, it is very helpful..
The fact that you're running MHQuestTools means you're running REALLY old versions of the addons (probably from Curse?). Completely uninstall and then reinstall fresh from ESOUI (this website). You will not have a MHQUESTTOOLS folder if you do that.
Then you have to MANUALLY uninstall the old quest tools like the quest tools front page mentioned several months ago :/

You have an old copy. It will cause bugs. You need to get rid of it.

bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table/struct expected, got nil)
stack traceback:

and yes.. for some reason I couldnt get the copy/paste function to work from the UI error window in game so I had to type that out.. *sad panda*

No apology is needed. You are awesome for even trying to make the game better, and double awesome because you succeeded. Your family comes first!

And please tell the four year old I said 'Hi' and this:

Thumbs up Re: Hey guys......

Wyykid,

Family, job, real life ALWAYS trumps gaming. While I adore your mods and can't imagine playing ESO without them, the truth is I'd be fine with it knowing that your time and attention was going to those things that are most important and that's always always always your kids, spouse/partner, earning a living, etc. Your child needs you a heck of a lot more than we gamers do and the impact you will have on that child's future will, in some manner, effect the future of our world. <3

Hey guys......

I would like to apologize to those of you who use my addons. I know it feels like I've abandoned my projects. And the truth is, I've absolutely spent FAR less time on them as I'd planned/intended. You all deserve better. My mental picture of where I want these to be deserves better. All in all, I'm just not happy with the way things have turned out.

No, I'm not walking away. I will be returning to the fray and getting these things up to speed and enhancing them. It just may take a few extra weeks for that to happen. I can't say enough how sorry I am for the delays. Again, they weren't planned.

For those curious or interested, here's the 'why':

I work in healthcare. I am Senior Software Developer at a large data firm that helps health insurance companies submit data to the US government for financial aid/reimbursement. I work on one specific product here and that product has expanded in scope far beyond its original design. And I only have one other C# developer to help me. There were pieces and parts to all of this expansion that were unforeseen and I've been working around the clock for the last several months to catch up and overcome this... "burden".

My addon development life has suffered. My gaming has suffered. My time with family has suffered. My poor little four year old feels like he never sees his daddy, and has told me so. My wife tried building shelves last week without me there to help, because I was working, and ended up slicing her left thumb open on a table saw when a board kicked back on her. ... things have just been a mess.

With all of that I haven't been playing to see my addons work or break. I haven't been logging into PTS before patches to see changes before they hit live and adapt. I, in fact, am not even up to speed on when/where/what the next patch is or what patch we're even currently on at this point.

So, thanks to all who have stuck with me despite all of this. I appreciate each and every one of you. I am sorry I haven't been around to answer your questions more actively and to assist you all the way that I did that first month or so. Those that were around back then know the level of service I INTEND to bring to the table, and you know that something has been keeping me from doing it. Well... now you know what that something has been.

All of that said my project should be rounding out over the next few weeks with less and less work required from myself as we push our final product into production. And that should mean a return to addon development in the near future. Hopefully some of you are still around when that happens.

Re: Re: Re: Updated... fail?

Thanks for responding, Joviex. That was a really cool feature, and I miss it.

Thanks in Advance.
My addon never had distance to quest. Certainly not even a part of the baked in API of the game either.
Looks like he is trying to mingle my extension to the original with the new.

I never updated that extension for the new, just FYI.

Cheers.
