Known Issues: v3.1.1.0

None.

3.0.0.2
Complete re-write of the addon. The re-written addon has the look and feel of the old version but the mechanics work much smoother and the code is optimized.
Migrated Addon to Ravalox' addon catalog.

2.3.5.2
Updated to support ESO 2.2.4

2.3.5.1
Updated to correct "T" key quest cycle behaviour. (with thanks to Circonian for his assistance!)
Completed quest steps (for quests with mutliple steps showing) will now be greyed out)

Known Issues:
* QT UI flashes on the screen during questgiver conversations (and assorted other times).
* Under certain circumstances, Crafting quests (certification and writs) cannot be selected
by mouse. They can still be cycled by "T" key or Journal menu.

I have a partial fix in the works for the flashing issue. Circonian had written a modification that corrects the flashing but the QT UI scrambles when the Journal menu is used to change quests or a new quest is added. I've put in additional code that corrects this but causes an additional update issue. (therefore this fix is a WIP)

Since the Cycling of the Crafting Writs is a sporadic issue (it's affecting only two of my characters on my client, so ... odd.) I will work towards a solution, but it will not be as high a priority. :-)

2.3.4.0
Corrected code to work with ZOS changes to internal quest tracker. (They are preparing for Gamepad and Keyboard integration causing changes to ZOS Quest source code.)

2.3.3.3
This update is to support ESOTU 2.1 (API 1.7)
**NOTE: This addon is currently broken. Additional code needs to change to make it compatible with ZOS' quest tracker API changes.

2.3.3.2
This update (2.3.3.2) only updates supporting documentation to reflect the transition from Wykkyd to Ravalox and Balkoth under the name of Exodus Code Group. The LUA addon/library code has not been changed.

As to this, I was single handedly maintaining ALL the Wykkyd addons (20+) as well as as handful of others, for over 2 years; I work on some major ones.

I also work full-time in corporate IT as a government defense contractor. I'm also mom/stepmom to teenagers. Life has also been kicking me in the ass over the past year or so, and I do this for free, because I enjoy it, in the spare time that I have, lol. It's been especially nuts lately as we're closing on our house (FINALLY!) this week.

I've got a Discord server set up for folks to catch up with me as well.

I see a lot of unanswered posts. Are there any plans to fix bugs or improve the addon any time soon? Or is this an "as-is" addon with no support from the authors? Sincere question.
I know people have lives, and that's great, real life comes first. But any kind of response every now and then would be great. Some communication for such a widely used addon is really needed. There hasn't been anything from any of the authors since April 28th. Almost 2 months ago.

Thank you for the addon.

Edit/Update: Got an error when I tried to show the default quest tracker.

Yeah, I also really want word wrapping, it is the only reason I am not using this addon currently.

It just received an update. In options there is a setting that allows you to move the screen around. *Hint* you have to keep settings windows open to do this. unless of course the Author changed that in some resent update. Been using it for a long time. The Best one out there.

I really wish the mod had word wrapping so that text wasn't getting cut off.

Re: Hints

Hey there,

Thank you all for your work on that great quest tracker!

I feel there's only one thing missing…

This, yeah! I strongly agree!
I really miss the hints.

I'm using both the addon and the ingame regular quest tracker to be sure not to miss something.

… but if we could show/hide this information as an option, I could remove the regular quest tracker!

Another tweak that could be nice, ( if we still want to use both the addon and the regular quest, )
would be an option to not display condition/objective. Another "funny" method to do it easily without adding a new option would be to allow a font size of 0 on these elements.
( Edit: I've just find out that using the "Arial Narrow" makes the text dissapear !… )
That way it would take less space and become a wonderful "quest selector".

I also agree with that, it could be a nice feature.
In addition to that, if that is easily feasable, it also could be nice to make the long texts return to line when the quest tracker uses a fixed width. For now, if that's too long, it's hidden.

Cheers,
N'Tak'

Hints

I see this has been posted a couple of times before, but wasn't addressed. I like this addon, but I keep disabling it and going back to vanilla because yours is missing hints and other secondary information. Maybe the info in there is not that important, but I feel like I'm missing out not seeing them so I just end up disabling the addon. Done this at least 5 times now, I really tried.. maybe I'm crazy

^ Previous report. Still having the issue.
Also, would it be possible to implement an option of allowing (or disallowing) the window to "always be on top"? I actually want to turn that off. It seems to be default as it is. The problem is, the quest log tends to get quite long for me, and it tends to cover up my looting notifications that pop up in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

Also, instead of it automatically sizing itself (which is great), an option to keep it sized to the player's specifications plus a scroll bar would be nice.

1. Bugreport:
Encountered an UI error after hiding/unhiding the complete interface with "Photographer".

Code:
user:/AddOns/Ravalox'QuestTracker/core/QuestTracker.lua:297: attempt to index a nil value
stack traceback:
user:/AddOns/Ravalox'QuestTracker/core/QuestTracker.lua:297: in function 'OnInterfaceSettingChanged'

2. Feature request:
Option to only show the zone categorie you are currently in + guild category or
to manually hide quests from the quest tracker. I tend to be a hoarder. I tend to keep quests that lead to a different zone, but prefer continuing questing in a different one... so my tracker shows at least 3-4 zones with 1 quest each... which clutters the interface a bit
Being able to manually hide those quests/zones would be a big plus.

Great addon so far, keep it going

Toggle/Keeping it hidden

I love this add-on, but one thing that is annoying is that if you hide it with the toggle, every time you kill a mob, it seems to pop back up again and have to be hidden again. is there a way to keep it hidden until I toggle it again? I'm on a laptop with limited screen real estate and it would be nice to have it only come up when I want it.
Thanks again for all your hard work.
