Known Issues: v3.1.1.0

None.

3.0.0.2
Complete re-write of the addon. The re-written addon has the look and feel of the old version but the mechanics work much smoother and the code is optimized.
Migrated Addon to Ravalox' addon catalog.

2.3.5.2
Updated to support ESO 2.2.4

2.3.5.1
Updated to correct "T" key quest cycle behaviour. (with thanks to Circonian for his assistance!)
Completed quest steps (for quests with mutliple steps showing) will now be greyed out)

Known Issues:
* QT UI flashes on the screen during questgiver conversations (and assorted other times).
* Under certain circumstances, Crafting quests (certification and writs) cannot be selected
by mouse. They can still be cycled by "T" key or Journal menu.

I have a partial fix in the works for the flashing issue. Circonian had written a modification that corrects the flashing but the QT UI scrambles when the Journal menu is used to change quests or a new quest is added. I've put in additional code that corrects this but causes an additional update issue. (therefore this fix is a WIP)

Since the Cycling of the Crafting Writs is a sporadic issue (it's affecting only two of my characters on my client, so ... odd.) I will work towards a solution, but it will not be as high a priority. :-)

2.3.4.0
Corrected code to work with ZOS changes to internal quest tracker. (They are preparing for Gamepad and Keyboard integration causing changes to ZOS Quest source code.)

2.3.3.3
This update is to support ESOTU 2.1 (API 1.7)
**NOTE: This addon is currently broken. Additional code needs to change to make it compatible with ZOS' quest tracker API changes.

2.3.3.2
This update (2.3.3.2) only updates supporting documentation to reflect the transition from Wykkyd to Ravalox and Balkoth under the name of Exodus Code Group. The LUA addon/library code has not been changed.

Brilliant mod, really loving it.
Minor bug to report:
I'm using the mod SlowDialogs, and while the text is being "written", the quest log shows through. Once the text is fully formed, the quest log turns invisible as it should.

Heh, earlier when you cycled through quests it automatically opened all the categories even if you didn't even pass category boundary with the quest change. I'd guess this has been a quick fix to that earlier problem and not thoroughly tested.

Are you gonna implement so that when you do certain steps on quest objectives they will show another color, maybe darker one, than the steps not yet done?

Every time I login or use /reloadui, I have to go into settings and restore "Mouseout Alpha" from 85 to my preferred setting. I also have to bring up the colorpicker for Background, since even if it remembers my setting, it does not apply it until I visit the colorpicker...

Got also an error when pressing the background golor colorpicker square. Changing the moving handle color worked.

Actually, I just fixed it. On line 380 of mhQuestTools.lua, change the "background" to "Background", that is, everywhere else in the code it's used with capitalised first letter.

Hi

First let me thank you for this wunderful tool, but it got errors in the latest version.

IF you try to change the background you got some error messages and all changes were deleted after /reloadui

Thanks for support

I had the same issues when I first installed this mod. I fixed it by uninstalling and re-installing Wykkyd Framework.
That is an old version of the addon. Those line numbers are way off which means you've got an old version.

Wells, that could always just be option too no?

I just didnt want to also provide a patch for the main framework, but all this needs is a hook to register/deregister certain windows from the hiding function.

Or a way to register/deregister which windows hide the supplied window.

If that is something you'd rather not worry about, I can certainly patch that as well.

This is admittedly a bad idea patch for the moment since it literally oblierates the framework hiding function.

Much rather not do that =p
The UIWindow frame is what quest tracker is spawning from. That embeds the hide func. Any window registration gets registered with a tic onupdate to see if it should be hidden. Right now that's not selective nor optional. I'm in TS if you wanna chat. I've got like 3 Lua conversations going atm this is getting confusing
Yes sir. I am outta here in about 15, look for Joviex. I was on that TS last night but didnt see ya around =p

More people ask for it to be hidden than not.
It will not be a default feature.
The window will continue to hide in the official addon.

NOTE THIS COULD BE A "BAD" IDEA.

Currently the framework for the windows mhFramework, does not allow for per frame overrides for this type (allowance to NOT close when settings panel is open).

Or at least, I can not find how Bazgrim's is working contrary to how all other WF_Frames work i.e. hiding when Settings is open.

Well, technically, I think the hiding happens, it is simply that Bazgrim's is hardcoded to "update" after the hiding, thus, most likely, re-blitting to the screen. Regardless =)

I basically overrode the core event and no windows using the mhFramework will hide when settings are up, which could affect other addons using said mhFramework.

Although, I admit, it is pretty awesome to tweak the quest window and see those changes immediately reflected.

Use with caution if using other mhFramework addons.
