No longer needed with ESO's blacklist. (Also, I think it's not working anymore)
Keep all those unsavoury types out of your guild!
Dolgubon's Lazy Guild Blacklist allows you to add names onto a blacklist for each guild.*
If a user on the list joins the guild, a notification will appear. The addon will also scan your guilds upon entering the guild, and create a notification.
To open the window, use /blacklist, /dlb, or /dlgb. Once the window is open, you can type a name or a list of users into the box, and either remove or add them to the blacklist.
You can add users to the blacklist for one guild, or for all guilds. You can also print the blacklists, or scan a guild again.
The addon will only accept @UserIDs. If you only know the character name of someone, add them to your ignore list to find out the @UserID.
*The blacklist compiled by this addon is specific to your account, and is not shared.
Created at the request of @Hiyde
Planned Updates:
An option to automatically remove users on the blacklist.
Known Issues:
None so far. If you find any, contact me here, or @Dolgubon on NA.
Version 3.3:
Updated LibNotifications
Version 3.2:
The addon will now scan after adding someone to the blacklist.
Added a note saying that all guilds have been scanned after they've all been scanned.
Version 3.1:
Removed 3 extra files that shouldn't have been in the upload, including one named temporaryDontForgetToDeleteBecauseOfCourseIWill
Version 3:
Added a scroll list with the blacklist. Selecting the guild with the dropdown in the main window will show the blacklist for the selected guild. Click on a name to put it in the edit box. Press the x button to remove a name from the blacklist.
Removed the Print List button, as it is now redundant.
Set the All Guilds to be selected at startup, rather than the first guild by alphabetical order.
You'll get the 'This is not a valid @UserID' more often now when doing random stuff. ;p
Changed how the All Guilds selection works. It will no longer add the name as an entry to each guilds blacklist, but is now a separate list. A player can be on one guild blacklist, and also be on the All Guilds blacklist, and vice versa.
Changed how adding, removing, and scanning works to make it more easily readable and hopefully work a little better.
Various other cleanups of the code.
Version 2.2:
Removed a line that wiped saved variables when the addon was loaded.
Version 2.1:
Fixed a bug where if the user entered a name without an @ at the start, the game would crash. There's still a few bugs involving names without an @, but they're not gamebreaking. (Note: Character names are not accepted. They're relatively useless, because if the user is not on that character, there is no way to know they are on the blacklist. Add to the ignore list to find out their username)
Moved the entry box so that it fits in the window.
Version 2:
Had not added a notification for when a member joins the guild. This has been fixed, and if a blacklisted member joins you will now receive a notification.
You can now add or remove a list of users.
Version 1.1:
Will now create a notification when finding a blacklisted member, instead of putting a message in chat.
An All Guilds option has been added.
I love you. I've been waiting for this for a long time! Although my game seems to freeze and crash when I click add user.
Hey, which version are you using? What is the name you are trying to add (and how are you adding it) and are you trying to add it to a specific guild or all guilds? I think I know what the problem is, but I'd like to make sure.

I saw you updated, will try again tonight and let you know.
Issue I have though is I have added someone to the blacklist and my guild leader also downloaded the addon.
He did a search but could not see what I had added. I reentered but he still cannot see any data I have added.
He has also tried to add the name himself but will not show him anything at all. Is that because I have added it?
Is it useable by more than 1 person in the guild?
There is almost no way to share information between players in-game. The only way, as far as I know requires being in a group, so it wouldn't be ideal.
Due to that, yes I would suggest only one player per guild uses the addon.*
*You could edit the saved variables file directly, and have multiple people keep the same blacklist, but I wouldn't really suggest it.
Thanks for quick reply would it be possible to add to the guild menu a tab for blacklisted chars and why they are blacklisted so others in guild could see that?

If not no issue.
Still thanks for this addon will help a lot.
It would be possible to add a tab yes, but again, there's no way to share info between users. It would be specific to each person using the addon.
Sorry for being a Pita but just tried using the addon again and wanted to open the blacklist but when hitting print blacklist it does not show anything I previously entered.
Do I have to add a name to check the blacklist or is there a way I can just get the blacklist to print the names for any/all guilds without entering the information again?
Sorry if I am missing something

Did you press the Add Name button? Print Blacklist won't print names that are in the edit box but haven't been added yet. Alternatively, the blacklists are still empty. If they're empty, nothing will print.
If you added names, but then the game crashed, then the blacklist won't save (nothing I can do about that, addons only save stuff on /reloadui) and there might be nothing in the list.
I am working on another method out 'outputting names, but it will probably take some time for me to get it to work.
Yeah added to list and when I first use print blacklist it will show what has been added.
When I go back in and use print blacklist nothing happens
Am assuming they are there but just cannot see them after first initial print blacklist.
I'm not sure what's going on. Do you have system chat enabled? I'm not sure why it would show it the first but not the second time.
I'm not going to spend too much time trying to figure this out, as right now I'm working on another method of displaying the blacklist in it's own window anyway, so that will bypass the problem completely.
Could be an addon conflict will try to find out and if it is will let you know
Other than that will be patient for the later update
Soo I realized that I added in a line for debug purposes that wiped the saved variables, but forgot to remove it. I uploaded another version that should fix your problems.
