WarLegend Group Frame  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.06
by: Lyeos [More]
Since I think there's some lacks in the ZOS Group Frame, I created my own.

Functionalities:
It shows Health bars and text (current, max and %).
You can change the size of the frame and the width of the Bars.
You can change the background, change is transparency or disable it.

The nefarious thing about it is that it's cyclical and gets triggered constantly. In order to keep the addon usable, I had to go into Main.lua and comment out the registration for EVENT_POWER_UPDATE (line 251). Without disabling that registration, I'd get a these exact same pop ups constantly.

I'm usually in a party with the same two other people. Often, when I log in, the party make up is still intact (ie. it'll show the two other party members even if they're offline). I don't know if that helps at all. I can do whatever you'd like to help troubleshoot this.
I got it fixed, thanks

I assume this happened after you where in raid party?

However, with that said I hope you can take this constructive criticism and use it to your advantage.

Part of what makes the vanilla bars so useless is the excess use of space and lack of information. The version I used around launch time (I assume 1.0) was almost perfect. I saw all the information I needed to know about my group and was it was more condensed (this is the key really, even the bars now would be better if I could have them spread less far apart) as well as moveable and scaleable.

The newest update throws all of that out the window and is just a slight improvement on the vanilla bars. That being said I don't know your plans, but if you are going in this direction I'd like you to consider implementing the following:

- Condensed
- Moveable frame
- Scaleable bars and frame
- Increase or decrese the spacer between your party members
- Less is more, simple bars, stacked, if you have fancy graphics make them toggleable
- Numbers for health (Magicka and Stam aren't necessary but would be nice to toggle... and I'm reading now that this isn't possible which is fine)
- Buffs and Debuffs (Not completely necessary but important, may also not be possible, which again fine)

Like I said from the get go, I'm not trying to be a prick, and I'm really impressed with the work thus far and have faith that after further updates more will be added. But as of right now, the drastic change from minimalist w/ necessary information barely any information taking up just as much if not more space.

Thanks for all the work you do!
- Condensed -Done!
- Moveable frame -Done!
- Scaleable bars and frame -Done!
- Increase or decrese the spacer between your party members -Done!
- Less is more, simple bars, stacked, if you have fancy graphics make them toggleable -In progess!
- Numbers for health (Magicka and Stam aren't necessary but would be nice to toggle... and I'm reading now that this isn't possible which is fine) -Done! Magicka and Stamina isn't possible since API Nerf.
- Buffs and Debuffs (Not completely necessary but important, may also not be possible, which again fine) -There is the same visualizer that ZOS uses for Player. Once i'm done working on buffs for the WLHUD I'll implement it on Group Frame.

Could you add a style similar to your raid frames? I like the design of your raid frames and I would like to use it for group frames too.

GroupPower_Update?

I was SO thrilled to see that you'd updated your group frames, but I keep getting spammed by the following message:

user:/AddOns/WarLegendGroupFrame/core/Main.lua:158: attempt to index a nil value stack traceback:
user:/AddOns/WarLegendGroupFrame/core/Main.lua:158: in function 'WLGF_Group_Power_Update'

I was grouped with my spouse's character, as always, and we were not in combat. (not sure how much information you need to be helpful)

If you need any further details, I'd love to give them. The hubby and I both really enjoy your WarLegend HUD and are looking forward to using Group again. Good luck with all of your endeavors!
