It would be nice to have an option to align text to the right side (now it's always left aligned)

Hey there!
For some reason Crafting Master Writ quests do not stay highlighted on the quest tracker. They show up as Crafting--Miscellaneous category and when selected nothing happens. If I select them on the main quest journal screen then exit out, FCMQT will deselect it. I have many fewer quests than the 25 limit selected, "show Crafting" selected and no "auto-hide" option is on. edit: OK, for some reason after Crafting one of the items on my list both Master Writs are now selectable and displaying all the hints and quest dialogue. Weird. I did attempt a reloudui before zoning to the new area so I'm not sure why it changed.

I have having a problem with choosing a quest that is not focused. When I left click a quest in a different zone or Guild or main quest it will not open it. When I choose a quest in the same zone it will change the focus.
I have had this problem before, but when I changed zones or did a /reloadui, it would work again. Now the only time it changes focus is when I do something to update the quest. I hope that I am making sense. |

Re: Re: Re: Re: New Version Coming Soon
most of the changes were to Quest Pins on map. Which I do not touch. Only map activity I do is update when the focused quest changes.

New Version Coming Soon
I am finishing a few more things, however there will be a major release soon.
One of the concerns many users have had, is how big the tracker can get. It is understandable. Though it is great that the tracker has a high level of customization, the down side is it can be time consuming to find just the right settings. One setting that I have not addressed is the Auto Hide Zone feature, which is great for reducing the tracker size. However, you cannot expand the other zones, and the only way to select a quest in the collapsed zone is to use the default "T" button, or select it from the journal. Then that zone will open up. For a long time I wanted to change that, make the tracker easier to navigate in general not just when using this feature. So I am putting the final touches on that feature now, which will include various right click menu's to do assorted functions. Mostly centered around the idea of able to reduce the size of the tracker with a couple of mouse clicks or use of key binds, as opposed to opening up the tracker to change the settings. There will be much more than this on the next release. Currently the change log is more than 70 lines of course including some descriptions of how the new or changed features work. I told you all this, to ask if you have any updates you would like to see then please let me know. I may not be able to get to them all, depends on how much work they need, but I will do my best.

Re: Mini-Map addon interface?
If you have a specific one I can look at I will. You can get the quest to show on the world map, you need to setup "Show on Map". In the Mouse Settings select the button you want to use from the drop down box. Note that some mice the buttons 3 to 5 may not work, depends on your mouse driver setup. The next version to be released will also have a menu option available to configure, which does have show on map there. Show on map will open the main world map, zoomed in on the quest location. |

Mini-Map addon interface?
I searched the comments and didn't see any refs to mini-map compatibility.
Does the addon have any code tie-ins at all to any of them? Mainly thinking about the cursor option to show-on-map and if it interfaces at all with focusing on any of the mini-maps. |

I can understand the list gets long, there is a few settings that can help reduce the size. I can suggest a few. Enable Auto Hide Zone - will automatically hide all quests in each zones/category except the one you have a focused quests in. Disadvantage is you currently cannot use the mouse to expand the zones, you will have to use the T key to cycle through quests. This is something I have on my list for version 1.5 which I have started. As long as you are not in Enable Auto Hide Zone, or show quests only in this zone, you can left click a zone/category and it will collapse the quests. I highlighted the two zones in orange that have been hidden by a mouse click. clicking again will expand it. The one I like the most though, is "Hide Objectives/Hints Except When Focused" which will hide all of the objectives for every quest EXCEPT the one you have focused, couple that with the sort of Focused+zone+name in the quest settings you get something like this. You still can hide the contents of the zone or category by click on it just as above. With the Focused+Zone+Name sort found in the Quest Settings it will also put all quests in the same zone or category at the top of the tracker as well. I have also started working on more keybinds, so you can toggle through various views you want to possibly make using the list easier. If you have an idea of what you would like let me know.

I notice when you select show quests in active zone. In dungeons, delves or caves no quest is being shown.
Expanding shows all available quest, that can be too much. |
