    Installation

    First, make sure you have the latest X4D Core installed.

    As with most Addons, simply open the Archive and copy the contents into "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\Addons\" folder.

    If ESO is already running, execute /reloadui command.

    This addon is good though, solid.
    Since ESO already has color options under the Settings=>Social menu I've not added a custom means of setting color (i.e. "it's already there, so why redo it," is my thinking.) 'pChat' appears to override/ignore the colors you configure in ESO and also adds a new Settings Menu to do so. I've had a few users think that there's no way to configure color as a result.

    If there's a feature missing you can't live without let me know and I'll see if I can implement it, while I'm not sure what the differences between the two Add-Ons are I realize there is a fair amount of overlap, and whatever users ask for I've been implementing in my spare time.

    This kind of functionality is disallowed/omitted by ESO to prevent hacking. The next best option would be to retain it in SavedVars, but I'm not exactly sure what the benefit would be.

    system message option
    Is there anyway you could possibly look at adding an option to turn off the system messages, the log on and log off messages we get in chat from people on our friends list logging in and out. I get so much spam in chat from this its not funny. Maybe there is a way to turn it off and i have just missed.

    Talking v1.17 - Disable Friend Online/Offline Messages
    This feature has been added to v1.17, thanks for the suggestion.

    I updated to the latest version today (useing minion) and this addon no longer shows up in game. It's not even in the addon list as out of date or disabled.

    Edit: Uninstalled the addon, restarted minion, the game, etc then reinstalled and it showed up. Not sure why it didn't originally.

    A similar issue was reported with another Add-On and we suspect that Minion is the cause. Still not sure why as I don't use Minion.

    Would it be possible to add different formats for the timestamps? Not a fan of the 24 hour format. examples: HH:mm, HH:mm:ss, HH:mm:ss am/pm, HH:mm am/pm.

    That's usually minion being buggy.

    Does this addon offer the functionality of disabling guild members logging in and out (for a merchants guild as an example) ? I was looking through the settings and did not notice one, though I may be slightly blind, lol!

    It will do this for Guild Chat, there is a setting in the Options UI. Simply enable both the Player Name and Character Name options at the same time, and make sure you've updated to the latest version.

    It does not currently do this for non-Guild chat channels (mainly because I didn't see a way to derive a Player Name from a Character Name in the APIs.) I'll see what I can do for non-Guild chat when I have spare time.

    Closest thing is at the bottom as "Disable Friend Status Messages".

    However, by default ESO does not notify you when "Guild Member Online Status" changes, if you see this in your game then there's probably another Add-On that is adding it. It's not actually ESO.

    The Options UI was touched up, and I've added a dropdown for Timestamps to select:

    1. Disabled
    2. 24 Hour Format
    3. 12 Hour Format

    Hope this is what you were looking for.
