Emote variants?
I just noticed that if I use /crouch by typing it into the chat, it does the Treasure Hunter personality version of the emote (even when it's not the set personality). However, the one in the list of this addon does a regular crouch without the torch while the personality is not active, and the personality variant when it's active. How is this possible?
Also there is /tilt which normally does a headtilt emote, but the Scholar personality has a variant where the character writes something into a book while tilting their heads. In the addon's emote list both are present as /tilt with no distinction. Does this mean that theoretically you could pull emotes that are personality dependent even if your current personality isn't the one they depend on? |

Re: Emote variants?
unfortunately I can't say anything about why the chat command for "/crouch" reacts so strangely. LovelyEmotes does not touch these commands. LovelyEmotes automatically searches all emotes that ZeniMax provides. These entries also contain emotes that can be assigned to personalities (but not all of them). This is the reason why you can find emotes from the scholar personality in the emote list. LovelyEmotes also does not execute chat commands, but plays the emotes directly. This is the reason why you can also play the emotes of the scholar personality, although you might not own them. I don't know why these emotes are not locked like other emotes you have to buy first. The "/crouch" emote is existing twice. LovelyEmotes had to ignore the second "/crouch" a while ago when I discovered it because it didn't work. Thank you very much for your attention. It seems that you can play the emote now. I will upload an update that will include the emote in the list. I would not know of any way to pull emotes from personalities. I don't think it would be in the interest of ZeniMax either.

First off, awesome addon! Really like the newer features, like the radial menu.
Speaking of which, could we get an option to scale it? It seems rather big right now. Thanks! |

Hello Ahobala,
thank you for your suggestion. I'm glad that you have fun with my addon. Scaling the radial menu is not that simple. Instead of scaling there will be a smaller variant of the radial quick menu. This will be nearly the size of the regular quick menu for mouse/keyboard players and can be enabled and disabled in the LovelyEmotes settings menu. If you have any further suggestions or wishes, please let me know. |

Hello,
Is there an ability to change the emotes listed on the radial wheel? Is it a setting I am somehow overlooking? |

sorry I forgot to explain this in the description. The radial menu displays the selected favorite emotes of the currently selected tab. If you still have questions, feel free to ask. |

Hey ShinyBones,
I know this doesn't have anything to do with your addon directly but since the latest update, "lovely emotes" are interrupted again by the idles from "custom idle animation". You had "fixed" this in 2019 with some kind of workaround, would it be possible to do so again? Regardless, thanks so much for this addon! Adds a lot of personality to my characters. |

thank you for reporting about this problem. I will take a look at it and hope I can help. And thanks for the nice comment. It's always nice to see when someone enjoys LovelyEmotes. Edit: (I think) I have found a solution and have updated the workaround. It should now work with old and new versions of the addon. If problems occur, please let me know.

Setting Emotes to the Number Pad Keys
A question for the author and/or the community. I did read the manual.
I'm coming from ESO Theater where you could easily assign 10 emotes to the numpad keys. But it's not been updated in years and it does not include the slew of subsequent emotes added since. When I opened the Lovely Emotes window I could assign emotes in each of the four, five slot entries. I then went into Controls and assigned ten Lovely Emote slots to keys on the number pad. However, although num keys 1-5 played the emotes I'd assigned in the first of the four five slot entries in Lovely Emotes, it said I'd not assigned anything in keys 6-0. Clearly I'm missing something bloody well obvious here and could use a pointer...or two Many thanks! |

Re: Setting Emotes to the Number Pad Keys
Hi Aethelwulf,
a tab can have 1 to 15 entries. Your bound keys represent the selected favorites in the currently active tab. Example: You have selected the first 5 favorite emotes in the first tab and the first tab is active. You can now press keys 1 - 5 to play them. In the second tab you have only selected the first 4 favorite emotes. If you change to this tab you can press the keys 1 - 4 to play these emotes. In the settings menu you can increase or decrease the number of available favorites for each tab. If you have more questions, I will be happy to help. |

Re: Re: Setting Emotes to the Number Pad Keys
Figured it had to be something simple that, for goodness only knows what reason, I missed Many thanks! I finally have access to all those emotes added over the years without having to type out something bizarre like /memorialtoast etc. |
