Azurah - Interface Enhanced (Outdated)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.05
by: Kith [More]
This version of Azurah has been replaced by another that can be found at Azurah - Interface Enhanced, please use that instead.

This version will no longer be supported or updated!

Azurah enhances the interface by providing additional information and customization options while maintaining most of the stock look and feel of the game's standard UI.

Current Features:
  • Unlock the interface windows allowing them to be moved anywhere on the screen and scaled in size.
  • Set a minimum level of transparency for your attributes or have them show always.
  • Lock the size of your attributes so food no longer makes them larger.
  • Display text overlays showing your and your target's attributes.
  • Show an overlay displaying your current level of Ultimate power.
  • Colour the target's health bar, name and level by its reaction to you, or its expected difficulty.
  • Show target player's class icon (and alliance icon) beside their name
  • Set an overlay for your experience bar as well as setting it to always be shown.

All of the above features include several options for personalization accessed froim the Settings menu under Azurah. Additonally the ability to unlock the interface for movement can be accessed via the chat window using the slash commands:

/azurah unlock -- unlock the interface for movement
/azurah lock -- relock the interface

Another bug I just noticed when testing more, rangefinder is borked, showing erroneous distances such as 500+ meters from target when right in-front of said target., also sometimes counting up instead of down.

You are looking to the saved variables instead to the addon folder.

Ok, that is really odd, while the reference to line numbers can be slightly different, the Azurah.lua file in the Addons/Azurah folder is a default settings reference file, meaning those settings are what the addons uses before you configure it manually in-game.

If they truly are not there in the Azurah.lua file, I would suggest you un-install the addon then re-install it...

After doing a clean re-installation of the addon check the Azurah.lua file again, using Ctrl key + F to open the Find next window pane, as that manner of searching is far faster and removes human error via eye recognition of words in long text.

As for:
["ultValueFontFace"] = "Univers 67",
["experienceBar"] =

They are part of the overlay configuration, the particular part you are wanting to edit is the initialization of the experience bar and the unlock UI features of the addon.

In saying that, that also brings me to the next question, which is one for author or fellow Dev, how is it possible to still unlock the UI within Azurah settings when it is disabled via the callback hook in the .lua file?

Edit: If for some reason those two lines do not exist after a clean re-install of the addon, post here and I will do my best to further assist, though I have a very basic understanding of .lua knowledge.

The lines you are looking for are:

self:InitializeExperienceBar()

and...

zo_callLater(function() Azurah:InitializeUnlock() end, 250)
The confusion is the Line 120 and Line 123 part. That is for reference only, you wouldn't search for that, and it isn't actually part of the code.

This does indeed work to prevent the LUA errors showing up on login and /reloadui though the unlocking feature does not show the anchors. Still, if you already had settings configured, they will still work, and some of the other options CAN be edited.

Thanks for this!

user:/AddOns/Azurah/ExperienceBar.lua:125: in function 'Azurah:InitializeExperienceBar'
user:/AddOns/Azurah/Azurah.lua:120: in function 'Azurah.OnInitialize'

Second is the UI unlock feature to move parts of the UI around is broken in some fashion, I think it cannot locate dimensions of default UI features, tbh nfi though:

user:/AddOns/Azurah/Unlock.lua:41: attempt to index a nil value
stack traceback:
user:/AddOns/Azurah/Unlock.lua:41: in function 'Azurah:RecordDefaultData'

user:/AddOns/Azurah/Azurah.lua:123: in function 'func'
EsoUI/Libraries/Globals/globalapi.lua:168: in function '(anonymous)'
So here goes is a temp fix, which will still throw up errors yet will return functionality for config options, including the unlocking of the UI.

Go to Open up the Azurah.lua file in the Addons/Azurah folder, scroll down to lines 120 and 123, the lines should look like:

Line 120: self:InitializeExperienceBar()
Line 123: zo_callLater(function() Azurah:InitializeUnlock() end, 250)

To implement the fix, just comment out those two lines and save the Azurah.lua file.

To comment out those lines, you just type in-front of those lines --
Make sure there are no spaces in between the text and the comment on the line, example:

--abcdefg...

Please note:

After this fix you can enter the settings config gui (settings menu)
All of the Azurah Settings Menu options will work, except for any of the Experience Bar Settings.
You will have an error the first time you unlock the UI windows via Azurah settings menu, the UI however will not unlock completely... A lot of the UI elements won't unlock for some reason. They do seem to retain their new position after a /reloadui

I can't do anymore on this, need someone with more knowledge than my very basic understanding of .lua development. At least it's a start
I couldn't find anything like those lines
Edit the file with Notepad++
I did, and did a search. A few lines started with zo_ for instance but nothing like that one. Sadness.

It seems everything reverted and Azurah doesn't show up on the settings menu. This is probably my #1 for addons, hopefully author is still hiding somewhere!

Maybe one of the other active addon devs can take a look at carrying the torch for this one?

I really hope Kith is still around... Over a month since the last update to one of the three most essential mods I use and now the wonderful changes to the interface in patch 1.2.3 has crippled it. This is most unsettling.

EDIT: Leave Azurah checked and ignore the UI warning. If you follow these directions it still works using the correct settings from Phinix UI (or whatever settings you had configured before). You are just not able to change the settings in the UI until Kith posts an update.
