Show Treasure Without Map needs to be ON in order for me to see any map icons. Then I -sometimes- see all of them.

I've started a new character and can't see any of the markers anymore, just updated to the latest version and didn't make a difference?

Yeah this function doesn't work.

Can we also get an option to Show/Hide maps under the Main map Filters area? Like Lorebook/Skyshards addon has done?

Thanks!

Hello,

the author of the German patch suspects the problem with the Add-on itself.
He wrote that all treasure maps that contain a blank character or that have special characters like "ä", "ö", "ü" or "ß" are not displayed on the map.

Some examples:
- Khenarthis Rast (contains a blank)
- Alik'r-Wüste (contains an "ü")
- Grünschatten (contains an "ü")
- Ödfels (contains an "Ö")
- Steinfälle (contains an "ä")

Can you please have a look at this?
Thank you!

Greetings

OLLI

I did the following:
  • ended ESO
  • un-installed TreasureMaps
  • checked if the folder is removed from the add-on directory
  • installed TreasureMaps again (actual version 1.95)
  • downloaded TreasureMaps German Patch v1.93
  • replaced the TreasureMapData.lua in the add-on directory with the downloaded one
  • started ESO
  • deactivated all other add-ons
  • in the settings of TreasureMaps set all 3 settings to ON
  • went to a place where an undiscoverd treasure is
  • opened the inventory
  • opened all 3 treasure maps (used them)
  • opened the map
Result: no markers are shown on the map

So, what now?

Greetings

OLLI

Make your life easier and change way how you determine location - do not use localized zone names but use either zone index or map texture names, same as me or Shinni.

As I have written in my posting below I am using the Add-on correctly:

I have the German client of The Elder Scrolls Online.
Might that be the problem?
