Thanks to CaptainBlagbird for creating the original Quest Map program. Please see his ESOUI entry for the addon description and update history.
Since no one has changed this addon for a while and I needed it to supplement what MapPins does, I opted to update the Libraries and API to WolfHunter (4.1) specs. I could have continued to use Destinations to pick up the quest givers but Destinations plus MapPins was overkill, in my opinion, and the MapPins author has indicated that he was not interested in adding quest giver locations to his addon program.
Quest Map works for me on PTS and on Live (NA Servers); however, I have yet to go into any DLC content released after Wrothgar. Hopefully, this addon will pick up the new zones and sub-zones automatically. If it does not, then I shall have to apply my limited .lua programming knowledge toward obtaining the quest giver location data for the missing zones and sub-zones.
Which means if you cannot find a quest giver, then I too probably cannot find that quest giver and I am already (slowly) working on finding a way to update the data files to provide the information we both would like to see.
Should you have a request, or should you like to report a bug, please feel free to do it here. However, if you just want to bitch about something this addon does that you don't like, please be aware that I reserve the right to ignore pointless or brainless complaints!
FYI, I am a retired C++ and OOP application programmer, analyst, developer, and consultant. I am not dumb; however, I am ignorant about .lua programming, the ESO APIs, and what they both can do. Constructive direction, guidance, assistance, and critiques will be acknowledged and appreciated.
Thank you all for your patience.
Version 2.0.1:
Nothing new in the program code; however, thanks to Kyoma's inputs and Hawk1889's files, the Quest Names and Completed Quest Ids files have been updated to the Summerset/Wolfhunter/10024 ESO release.
The bad news is that this still won't display quest giver pins on your world and mini maps until one of your characters has started or completed that quest; however, once one of your characters has started or completed the quest, it should become visible to all of your characters.
The good news is that once you find a quest giver in any zone and start a quest or story line, the follow on quest givers WILL show up on your world and mini maps.
I am continuing to work on the Zone and Subzone data files to get them updated so all your "to do" starting quests will automatically display on your world and mini maps whenever you enter a zone.
Once again, thanks for your patience.
Version 2.0.2:
Is here. The issues with QM and the ESO API 100025 addon loading changes have been resolved. Please do not tweak any of the *.txt files you find in the addon and library folders; they are there for compatibility reasons.
Version 2.0.2+:
Fixed the nested folders issue with LibMapPins-1.0. I apologize for the mistake but that's the way ESOUI downloaded that addon to me. Changed the Optional Category back to "Map, Coords, Compasses".
Version 2.0.3:
Is in development. Hawkeye and I are busy manually updating the QM tables with Murkmire data... but it is going very slowly. We will keep you posted as we get closer to a release date. What I thought would take a day or two has grown to several days or more due to the table updates which require highly intensive, manual updates to multiple tables to make one quest giver appear on your map(s).
As of this morning (for me), Captain Blagbird has updated all of his Quest Map add-ons to the Wrathstone (4.3) and API 100026 levels.
I suggest you download his versions as they have to be better than my version until I can get it up and running... I keep getting side tracked by "windmills" along the way.
My congratulations and compliments to Captain Blagbird for updating this important add-on.
but both addons still havent quest markers for DLC zones?
I have a Blagbird's Quest Map add-on by Drakanwulf and CaptainBlagbird's Quest Map addon floods are compatible or I can either opt out of them? so far I have been using the Blagbird's Quest Map by Drakanwulf when CaptainBlagbird's Quest Map addon flood has not been updated for a long time

Any chance we can get a setting for repeatable quests to continue to display after they've been completed once? This would be especially good with the option to have the pins a different color to differentiate them from standard quests.
Let me just start by saying I really appreciate you guys trying to keep this addon alive. This is one of my favorite addons as a completionist and it's helped me sweep through every single base-game zone. Unfortunately, that means the time has come for me to start questing in zones that this addon does not support, and questing doesn't seem as fun without the addon.
Now, I don't really have any coding experience, but I hear that LUA is excellent for learning and I am generally a fast learner. I say that because I'm not just going to sit around and ask/demand updates when I know it's something complicated and that takes a lot of time; I would like to help if I can, even if that only entails installing Quest Map Scout and sending you the data from it.
Thank you for your update to the awesome Quest Map.
May I suggest the category by changed to "MAP, compass" since that's where the original is. and where I'd (at least) look for it.
Are there any possibility for repeatable quest markers to be a seperate color and staying on map even after handing in first time, or is this not an option because of the way the api works?
Version 2.0.1 is broken by API 100025. Please download and install Version 2.0.2.
The update today won't load as it says it is missing LibMapPins addon.
I personally have the libraries as you spammed "LibMapPins" installed as a separate addon for the trend that is here to start the eso, and this is the addon addon I exclude from my addons a book and a writing from a particular book that I use their addons, and from the proof of change API does not have to update its addons, just update the book and even from the application of the minion, the book can be better recognized and if the book is updated, it will ask for an update
I don't understand what you're trying to convey. Sorry.

its caused by "\QuestMap\libs\LibMapPins-1.0\LibMapPins-1.0\LibMapPins-1.0.lua"
but addon lua pointing to "libs/LibMapPins-1.0/LibMapPins-1.0.lua" => if you copy LibMapPins-1.0.lua and LibMapPins-1.0.txt into first directory, it will work again
This is what has needed to get BQM to start working again. Thanks!
Also, thanks Drakanwulf for maintaining and updating this addon and for working on QM2. Much appreciated!
Fixed in Version 2.0.2+. Thanks everyone for reporting this issue. Special thanks to Zebular for telling users how to remove the extra folder. FYI, everyone, the LibMapPins-1.0 file on the ESOUI website has the nested folders in it too. I apologize for not checking the content of the files I downloaded. I will let the ESOUI webmasters know that they have a buggy file in their catalog.
