Gear and ability manager with full drag and drop support.

- Lightweight.
- Have no active functions in idle.
- Trusty. You will not find yourself in the battle with the wrong skills on your swap panel.
- Full drag and drop support. You can use the mouse to set skills from the skills window, from the ability bar, clothes from the inventory or the character’s window, you can move, rearrange and copy everything in the manager’s window. There are also context menus for complex copying/cleaning of slots.
- Intuitive mouse control with all kinds of highlights and control of user actions. When placing an item or skill will automatically highlight the appropriate slots. The manager will not allow to put two identical skills on the panel, to put the jewelry on the belt slot or inserting ability into the slot of the ultimate. For all items and skills there are in-game tooltips.
- Items that are equipped or not available for equipment are marked with altered slot frames.
- Deep interface customisation.
- Interactive headers with automatically generated names based on exposed item sets.

Hints:

Additional slots. Add-on can be used both for a complete disguise by a button without calling the interface, and also to dress objects or individual skills simply by clicking on them. So you can, for example, do not fill all the slots and keep there only individual items/skills so as not to rummage through the inventory/skills panel:


Additional skill panel (disabled by default). It is possible to place skill variations on it and set them just by clicking the mouse and not divert a separate panel of the entire set. You can assign a button for it. When you press the button, the skills from the additional panel of the active set (that you wore the last time) will be placed on current ability bar:


Equipping different sets. When equipping a set with only a part of the slots filled, only those that are indicated will be dressed. So you can quickly change only one set/part of skills:


Second panel. If your swap button is blinking, this means that the Gear Manager is waiting for you to swap the panel to change skills in the second panel:


Different sets combination. You can combine different sets or replace parts of items simply by copying one incomplete set into another:


Sinle use slot. When you press the button, the specified skill will be placed on the current panel in the specified slot. Immediately after its activation, the skill that was previously there will be returned to the panel:


Unequipping. Right click on blank slot to set it to unequip.

Gear Manager no longer working with sidebar...

I posted this on the Bandits UI thread and never saw a response.

On the side bar, gear manager will no longer show up, if I go to the configuration menu for the side bar, gear manager is greyed out and selected but cannot be unselected.

Not a huge deal, as I just created a hot key, but it was nice having it on the side menu.

Also thank you for the wonderful addons, I do not know what I would do without Bandits.

Thanks for the answer, but what i guess i was hoping for was a more visual way for it to remember it, like still displaying the item but with like a red bar around it to display its no longer in your inventory and not just the red bar with an empty frame, not letting me know what belonged there. If someone doesnt always keep all their gear in the inventory and have alot of different gear setups it can be hard remembering what is needed for what without the visual clues the addon could provide.

Why are you asking about base game rules here?
Simply try to equip the same weapon for both slots and you will receive your answer.

Nope. It can withdraw items from bank/storage and only then equip.
Try this to understand:
1. Open bank, put in the item marked as used as gear item.
2. Open Gear Manager: Missed items will be with red outline.
3. Open bank and look at the bottom panel: There will be "Withdraw gear items" action. Press the key.
4. Open Gear Manager: All items will be here.

Same weapon for Primary/Backup

In my backup sets, I use different armor and skills, but in some cases desire to use the same weapon.

In the bandit gear manager ui, I cannot apply the same weapon to both primary and backup slots, getting a message that "this item is already equipped".

If I leave the backup slot empty, then when activating backup the character switches to fists instead of maintaining the prior weapon. I don't remember seeing this behavior in vanilla ESO.

I also tried right clicking the backup weapon slot to make it red. This brought no change in prior described behavior.

Is there a way to slot the same weapon in both primary and backup slots, *or* leave the backup slot empty and have the primary weapon maintained when switching from primary to backup?

remember items?

is there a plan to make the addon remember what armor/weapons belong to what setup even if the item is no longer in your inventory (say banked or on an alt). i love the idea of using this addon as it has some interesting features that the one im currently using (AlphaGear2) doesnt, but this missing feature is preventing me from making the swap permanently

Thankyou, keybinding worked. But I'm using Bandits UI as well and it's not showing gear manager icon in the side panel. It is greyed out in the side panel settings for me.

OK, I installed this via Minion, and confirmed it made it to my addons folder.

New to ESO, this is the only Addon I have installed.

Once in game, I see nothing indicating the presence of this addon.

Help?

I saw someone else had problems with switching outfits, so I wanted to share my experience, maybe it helps.

I use two gear layouts, first with helmet shown and using Outfit 1, the second one not showing the helmet and using no outfit. I had problems showing the helmet and the right outfit with the correct gear layout, due to me either being too stupid, or misinterpreting the addon guide.

Here is what I did to solve my issues:
I did setup the layouts 1 and 2 by filling in the gear, skills and enabling the wanted options, like show/hide helmet, personality etc.

Then I changed the following:
Gear layout 1: right-clicked the hat symbol, so it is shown in red
Gear layout 2: right-clicked the outfit symbol, so it is also shown in red

Now it works the way I want it to.

PS: Outstanding addons, Bandit UI and optional ones.

What about a gear manager for companions ?

I am very happy with the Bandis Gear Manager and I would like to ask if you have anything in your pipeline or you know if anyone is working on a dedicated Gear Manager for Companions. I don't want to replace the Bandits Gear Manager with anything else.

and btw. Thank's that you show now the equiped gear set in the action bar

It is frustrating that with each update I have to change the number of tabs in the code.
More players use more than 7 tabs.

Yeah same for me, I have also to patch the wrong character encoding each time the addon is updated, as if the creator doesn't read comments here...
Thanks for changing the number of tabs. A better solution would be to add an option to change the number of tabs in the settings (14 is not enaugh).
