Price AddOn to better focus prices from different sources.


The AddOn works with MM / TTC / ATT / UESP.


uespLog supported! You only need uespLogSalesPrices from this AddOn. This AddOn increases Game Loading time noticeably. Don't forget to set NA or EU option when downloading UESP data in their APP.

Just a quick heads up, some users reported that MM would not load properly. It seems that MM and LibGuildStore load in a different order for some people. Please add the following to your mod.

When checking for prices be sure to check for the following

MasterMerchant.isInitialized
LibGuildStore.guildStoreReady

If both are not true do not request information from MM.

The original method was automatic, from what I understood reading this, and always seemed to get uploaded, but it used the MMxxxx files. You could also upload them directly to the site prior to MM 3.6.x. So, yeah, UESP probably needs to update for this. The "mod" itself is just uespLog as linked in the previous post. It comes in two parts like TTC. The mod which logs the data and the application which uploads that data.

I didn't think that at all. I was just saying that I am updating MM to be a shopping tool for anyone, not just as a trading mod. In addition to that as you mentioned when you have limited sales sometimes the MM price isn't as helpful.

I will look into how UESP uses the data because I changed the format. They should probably use LibHistoire.

EDIT: I searched the site, just used UESP. Didn't find what I thought was the correct mod. What is a link to the mod that uses MM data? Because again I changed the file format so....

I think you misunderstand. I use all of them (TTC, MM, and UESP) to get good price averages. I'm certainly not advocating that people stop using MM or for people to use one thing over another. Quite the opposite. You still have to use MM in order to upload the collected data to UESP.

if you wouldn't mind reconsidering MM, with the addition of Bonanza the graph will Now display an average of the prices for items that you've seen with other traders.

Yes, other addons can override it also. I would need to display it somewhere else in this case.

After deleting saved variables, this addon isn't showing me the TTC price anymore after the latest game patch. I no longer get an error, but the grid price just doesn't want to show itself when it's a TTC price.





EDIT: Ok, hold up. I think ATT's "Enable prices in inventories" option was screwing with it. When I turned that option off in the ATT settings, Price Tooltip seems to be working now.

UESP's Pricing?

I don't suppose you would consider adding support for UESP's pricing? (from uespLog)

I make very regular use of it to see market trends or declines. Prices can be viewed both in-game and via the UESP site in the form of graphs and tables (e.g. Dreugh Wax). Unlike Master Merchant which requires sales data from an, ideally, active trade guild, or TTC which only scans listings and by its very definition is fallible becaus eanything can be listed for any price, UESP does both which should, in theory, result in a much better price aggregate.

A lot of people don't seem to realise this is even a thing (which is also its only downside, because, like any of these addons or applications/sites, it requires more people to use it), so I don't know if you're just unaware that it exists or if there's just not enough call for support to be added and you've simply made the decision not to do so.

Walking Flame Update 31

PriceToolTip_Globals.lua on line 82 the global must have changed because it throws a nil error

[ITEMTYPE_SPELLCRAFTING_TABLET] = "ITEMTYPE_SPELLCRAFTING_TABLET",

change it to (commented out)
