Combat Log Statistics (CLS)

Based on the Foundry Tactical Combat addon made by Atropos. CLS displays current combat in a separate window. It should be used as a tool to help form strategies in-game.

Navigation

"/CLS" or "/CLS help" will bring up all options in game
"/CLS Main" will show the Main Combat Log Window
"/CLS DPS" will show the DPS Window
Under the Game Menu (ESC), Under Settings => Addon Settings, there is "CLS"
Also view the combat log in the first chat window, a chat window of its own, both, or neither

- Fixed a bug when displaying the Attacks/Heals window, where an error would happen if there were more recorded attacks/heals than lines to display them. It now only displays the top attacks/heals.
- Fixed a problem with resized windows not recording their new size properly.

- Re-added XP gain display for veteran-ranked players, since vet ranks are now determined by

- Works with Update 5.

What happens when you type this into the chatbox: /script d(CombatLog:IsHidden())

If the word "true" appears in the chatlog, you can solve the problem by typing: /script CombatLog:SetHidden(false)

Open the file My Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\SavedVariables\CombatLogStatistics.lua . For each character that has this problem, find the line that reads

Lua Code:

["SumX"] = <some number>,

And change <some number> to 0. Then do the same for the line that reads

Lua Code:

["SumY"] = <some number>,

This will reset its position.

You might also try to find the lines that read

Lua Code:

["Width"] = <some number>,
["Height"] = <some number>,

And change them to 400 and 200, respectively. This will restore your window size to the default.

Does any of this help?

Just tedious to constantly be placing them in place [/S] Thanks for keeping the add on alive! EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. Since I play across three screens, every time I reload ui it shifted the windows over 1 full screen. So if I placed it two screens over then reload ui, then it worked. The add-on mainly relies on ZO's Saved Addon Variables system to store data. At present, that's the only way to persist data from one play session to the next. If you're interested, you can look at Circonian's Saved Variables Tutorial on the ESOUI wiki.

It's not a feature I had thought of, but something like that is possible. (Addons can put text into the chat input box, but a human being has to push Enter every time.) What data would be useful? Whatever's in the DPS meter?

Sorry for the late response, and thanks for taking the time to reply.

Useful information would be DPS, HPS, Total Damage Done, Total Healing Done, Fight time, Encounter name, Character name, basic info for sharing with group during dps/hps tests and the like.

Hrm, it looks like the manifest file didn't get pushed with the rest of the code.

It should work anyway; but I'll post an updated version shortly.

Yeah, that would be my guess too. The line it was citing in the error message reads data from the saved variables, so it makes sense.

That's really weird. Tdam should never be a string. If you click on the "stats" tab of the main window, what happens? What is listed in the line that starts, "Damage Done:"? What about the line that starts, "DPS:"?
