function IN2_QueryAccountInventory( itemLink, itemName ); --[[ receives: itemLink - string; ZO formatted itemlink itemName - string; plain text name of the item returns: a queryItem object Note: Providing an itemName string will result in the search using the name. Providing an itemLink will result in a more specific item search using ZO ItemLinks. Providing both will default to using the provided itemLink. Due to the nature of itemization in TESO, ItemLinks for the same item do not match in some cases. For example, the level 1 LockPicks provided to characters who skip the Cold Harbor introduction are different (from the perspective of the ItemLink) than later acquired LockPicks. Regarding the stacks showing up - because of the way Inventory Insight collects the data (which in hindsight was dumb but I didn't realize how much it was going to evolve) there is no simple way of combining the items just yet. I have wanted to do something about this but I'm not sure how I am going to approach it. Part of me wants to overhaul the entire data collection algorithm so that it makes more sense. That would eliminate a large amount of processing overhead as well as a lot of data stored in the saved variables file. By doing a band-aid fix to this and combining the items manually (which in itself will be tricky due to the itemization and itemlinks in ESO) I will be doing the opposite by actually making the routines that handle adding the data to the frame more processor intensive. So, obviously, I have not made my mind up entirely yet... but we'll see. I will likely do something about that soon. :P A lot of folks are requesting the advanced item filters feature, and as much as I don't personally feel the need I will look into it a little more. The issue here is simply a lack of API functionality so in order to add this feature I would need to write a bit of hacky code to provide myself with that which the API does not. Also, in connection to the above, this would actually increase the size of the saved variables file as this information would need to be stored locally. I appreciate the suggestions and feedback! It hasn't been long since I started using it but nevertheless I am deeply inlove with this addon.
I was wondering, is it possible to add an option to consolidate multiple stacks of an item into a single stack? I use alot of mules with stacks of crafting materials and the display can get rather cluttered with all those x100 stacks, many of which are for the same items. Another question pertains to something a bit more complicated. When dealing with many alts and many types of items on them (yay Inventory-Shuffle-Dance) the default filtering still leaves you with a rather large list to explore. For the normal inventory there is a fantastic addon that aims to improve said filtering: Advanced Filters. The most recent version even includes very cool icons for some of the sub-filters that blend in seamlessly with the rest of the bunch. Now for my actual question: is it possible to implement something similar (both in terms of possibility & time) or perhaps incorporate (parts of) Advanced Filters (assuming permission is/can be granted of course)? I didn't tell him to reuse code, and I didn't tell him to even look at In2... So who know's what's broken. I will try to take a look but I haven't had a chance since he messaged me about it some time ago. We'll see... I'll let you know if I find anything. :P |

That line in my code works just fine and is written directly in accordance with how LAM has documented it's usage. I would suggest you try a couple things: EDIT: 0. Verify that you are on the most recent version of both X4D XP and Inventory Insight. 1. Verify that it is indeed X4D XP and Inventory Insight that are conflicting by enabled them and ONLY them and doing a /reloadui. 2. If the problem still occurs I would contact the author of X4D XP. Either the fact that he is including an old version of LAM but not using it or something else is causing problems. 3. Let me know what you find out.

I've noticed, in the past day or two, that tooltips (yours and/or default) will sometimes stay open after exiting the crafting screen - normally while having the mouse hovered over an item.
