function IN2_QueryAccountInventory( itemLink, itemName ); --[[ receives: itemLink - string; ZO formatted itemlink itemName - string; plain text name of the item returns: a queryItem object Note: Providing an itemName string will result in the search using the name. Providing an itemLink will result in a more specific item search using ZO ItemLinks. Providing both will default to using the provided itemLink. Due to the nature of itemization in TESO, ItemLinks for the same item do not match in some cases. For example, the level 1 LockPicks provided to characters who skip the Cold Harbor introduction are different (from the perspective of the ItemLink) than later acquired LockPicks. (I have no idea why this is the case but I am researching this. queryItem = { link = itemLink; name = itemName; locations = { [n] = { name = ""; -- name of the location found; {"Bank","{charactername}"} itemsFound = n; -- the number of items of this time found at this location } } } ]]--

Is there an option to just view my account bank?
I see: All Banks (There's only one bank per account, so what does this mean?) All Characters All Guild banks |

So, I've actually looked into your first comment a few times. It's hard to explain but there are a few different areas of the code that have the possibility of modifying the IN2 Custom Item and Popup tooltips (which I believe is what you are referring to) which makes it rather difficult to determine whether any prudent information was added or not in an effort to hide if in the event that there's nothing there. I will research this a little more and see if I could add something for you. As far as the second part, I'm not entirely sure how those addons work as I have not looked into it extensively but in more cases than not, addons stick to the native API functionality when it comes to items and tooltips. IN2 does some fancy item link magic to show you what you see across the entire breadth of the addon. With that being said, unless those addons are IN2 aware and integrated, they probably will not have any affect on anything related to IN2 itself. Hence, you may want to request integration functionality from the author of the addons which you would like a bit of integration. Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm trying to get a chance to put up another patch soon, so stay tuned!! |

Woud it be possible to hide the extendet tooltip if there is no info? Also addons like "Crafting Material Level Display" or "Guild Store Search Extended" and "Sous Chef - Provisioning Helper" seam to have problems with the all bags window from VII, they don't show any tooltip on the items listed with this addon.
Also woud be great to have a tooltip when cooking so you can see when hoovering cooking materials if you havem them on your alt.

Re: Research Assistant inside Inventory Frame?
Just as an FIY - the integration with RA coming soon will provide the player with the option to see whether an item has a "learnable trait" from within the Inventory Insight custom item tooltip. |

Research Assistant inside Inventory Frame?
Would it be possible to get the research assistant icons inside the inventory frame?
It would be nice if character A (clothier) could open the frame and see all the items on a mule, and have the colored icons there to help decide what ones to transfer to researching. |

Re: Frame Size
1. If I resize the window to be shorter, it should change the size of the list, rather than forcing me to scroll down just to see the last few items and the bottom of the main scroll bar. EXTREMELY difficult to do this. The items that make up the list are created when the frame is created, dynamically recreating controls in this game is possible but not very simple. With the complexity of the frame, doing this would be far more time than it's worth. There may be a gridview in the future so this will be less of a problem but in the meantime, you will just have to scrol to the end in a minimized lists. Sorry... 2. Horizontal resizing should be possible. Most names are like half the width of the current list item right now, and it's wasted space. In the previous version of the frame, this would have been doable (though honestly I don't think it really matters much personally). However, with the introduction of the ability to resize the frame, resizing horizontally is gone due to the nature of the control that was used. Simply put, there is no way to resize the children inside based on the width of the parent with the new control I used to enable resizing. I can enable resizing (you can even do it if you want using code) but the reaction you will get will be ugly and not what you actually want to see. Again, sorry... 3. The font size and gap between list items should be adjustable through the options. I'd rather have smaller text and items squished closer together, particularly since I'd like the above changes to make the entire window significantly smaller. I will consider adding some cosmetic features regarding font and what not in the future. Furthermore, I have some plans for another addon in the future that may fit the bill here. Either way, the font sizes used in IN2 are basically equivalent to the default sizes used throughout the UI and should be relatively the same visually. Have you considered just adjusting your UI scale in the Interface settings? I personally have my scale set so things on my screen are significantly smaller. 4. A second set of sub-filters, particularly in the mats area, would be very nice. Look at the Advanced Filters mod for an example. Edit: also, toggle-able quality filters could be very useful, so you could look for only purple, or only green and blue. More sorting options are always a possibility! I would love to build on this particular feature. The AdvancedFilters suggestions is already in the feature tracker though, FYI. I'm not entirely sure I will be doing this though for a couple reasons. 5. The font size should be adjustable when using the default tooltip. I like the information, but it doesn't need to be nearly as large as the main text. I can look into this, but I am using ZO controls and I don't think the font sizes in the tooltips are adjustable. Even the custom IN2 tooltip uses a wrapped ZO_Tooltip control and may not be adjustable. I will investigate though. (Again, my suggestions is to investigate your UI scale. Sounds more and more like you are on the default scale with granny text. ) Not really a huge deal: 6. The insight window doesn't maintain it's position from closing my inventory to re-opening it, let alone between sessions, in docked mode. The inventory frame DOES maintain it's position in the most recent version both when docked and not docked. However, when the frame is docked, it is always in the same position, hence docked. With that being said, if you are referring to the size of the frame, then no, that is not saved and I don't have plans to save it at the moment. Thought I will consider it moving forward... 7. Clicking and dragging the title should let me re-position vertically without re-sizing on the docked window. I could test this but with the way the interface works in ESO, I'm not entirely sure this will be possible or at the very least easy enough to be worth my time. 8. I should be able to move the window horizontally to undock it. Not a bad idea. I will look into this. That being said, doing the opposite would be rather annoying and likely cumbersome for the average user. (Not to mention also not entirely worth my time for the complexity...) Ultimately, my personal preference these days is to leave the frame undocked and locked in different positions in the many scenes I have it enabled in. Before the most recent version I used to leave it docked, but the new features in the undocked mode (mostly the minimize) make it super easy to use in all the frames. I keep it minimize and off in its own little area in some scenes, and not so in others. Just my two cents. :P Stay tuned for future updates and I always appreciate the feedback so keep it coming! Thanks everyone! |

Frame Size
A few complaints I have that are rather annoying:
1. If I resize the window to be shorter, it should change the size of the list, rather than forcing me to scroll down just to see the last few items and the bottom of the main scroll bar. 2. Horizontal resizing should be possible. Most names are like half the width of the current list item right now, and it's wasted space. 3. The font size and gap between list items should be adjustable through the options. I'd rather have smaller text and items squished closer together, particularly since I'd like the above changes to make the entire window significantly smaller. 4. Clicking and dragging the title should let me re-position vertically without re-sizing on the docked window. 8. I should be able to move the window horizontally to undock it. Otherwise it's a pretty handy addon. I really like being able to see what researchable items I have on my storage alt, and how many of a given crafting mat I have on my alts.

This saved my life
Seriously, this game prevented my untimely demise. One quick question though, I can't seem to 'Link to Chat' from this add-on's window? I get asked to link items in the chat window all of the time, and of course that item is usually stored in one of my mules. I don't see that option in the right-click context menu Could you maybe add this functionality in the future? Or is this something that is not allowed by eso? I could imagine why...
