A minor issue I've noticed is that the addon loses track of Titles b/t sessions. I do have an addon that reorganizes the titles in my character menu (https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info...Titleizer.html). I'm not sure if that is contributing to the problem.

It will remember that I picked a title for a particular preset, but it will get confused about which one and often select one above or below where my preferred title would appear. Means I often have to re-equip each preset, select the appropriate title, and refresh from character.

Still working just fine. I've seen only 2 issues; both minor. (1) If you saved style with current/prior version, you get a warning when equipping it, but it works. Can simply update the style to prevent that warning from happening again. (2) The icon for Major Adornment is probably the one you want on Minor/Piercing.

EDIT: So I uncommented two lines of code, and the minor adornments seem to be saving and loading just fine. Only issue is that there is no icon for that slot when not assigned. How long will it take me to regret that? LOL
To be honest: I don't remember why I commented them out in the first place. Maybe just forgot to re-enable them... or thought of selling this as major new feature some time in future...

I'll have a look and release a new version soon.

Did you experience a game crash? It seems that your file with AlphaStyle stiles is broken.
  1. Stop ESO
  2. Locate this file: "c:\Users\<your name>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables\AlphaStyle.lua" and move it to a save place.
  3. Start ESO
  4. Open AlphaStyle
    • Should work now, but your previously defined styles are gone

If this solves the problem send me the old AlphaStyle.lua file and I'll see if I can rescue some styles.

Thanks for the report. Will have a look. Meanwhile: will you please make sure that there is a sort key for every style you've created?

Great video! Thanks!
And I never would have thought of using AG2 as style switcher. Good job!

Would it be possible to automatically load a style depending on the area/region you are in like home, city, adventure or dungeon? I used LoreWear from Justinion's LorePlay but it is not fully working with the German client (it does not recognize cities or overland regions). I am urgently looking for an addon that can load a style automatically depending on the region.

I would be glad to support you with German translations

And can you please tell me what the sort key in the style properties is good for?
Hi Neverlands,

thanks for the nice words!
I've had a look into LoreWear and its mechanics. I guess it's somehow outdated and doesn't recognize the new regions. I've had a similar request for AlphaGear, a sibling of AlphaStyle. I'll add it to the wish list and see what I can do.

The sort key can be used to group styles by a hidden key. Example

Name of the Style; Sortkey
"Khenarthi's Roost Style"; "Auridon.01"
"Grahtwood Style"; "Auridon.02"
"Greenshade Style"; "Auridon.03"
"Malabal Tor Style"; "Auridon.04"

By this, all styles of Auridon will be shown together.

-mesota

p.s.: Thanks for your offer for translations. I'm German too

Hello mesota,

thanks for the explanation and adding the idea to the wishlist. I'll keep up with your addon and wait for any news
