This Addon displays Leads in all their glory.

Either via /displayleads or keyboard shortcut

With a lot of information, including detailed Lead Location in a tooltip.

It as well has a ton of filters. Of Note of those:

Major Filters:
- Can Scry : Shows only Leads you have found but not yet scried
- Can Find : Shows only Leads you can find (no unscried yet Leads and no non-repeatable found ones)
- Missing Codex : Only shows Leads you can find which have missing Codex Info. Aka the Lore Completionists Filter

Zone Filters:
- Current Zone : Only Shows Leads pertaining to the current zone. Changes as you travel through Tamriel
- No minor DLC : Excludes all the non-Chapter DLC (Murkmire, Dragonguard, Clockwork City, Wrothgar,..)

Set/Type Filters :
- Multipart Antiquities: Only shows the juicy multipart Antiquity Leads

The three Filters are logical ANDs

So "Can Find" "Current Zone" "Multipart" will only show missing leads for the current zone for multipart Antiquities

That is very very odd.

"No leads discovered so far" only talks about your current session. As that part is for reporting new Locations and Leads you discovered 3 days ago are of less interest.

Now why your List is completely empty... no idea..

What language client are you using?
(Had to change quite a few things in order to get non-english names to display correctly. Only tested it all a bit in german)


Have you tried to set each of the three filters to different values?
(once had empty list after I changed a Filtertype name)

The plan has always been something similar. Just wanted the Location data @ingkling has to fill out and settle first.

#1 Locoation_type and Location_shortname and location_zone:

- Location type would be Delve, WB, Safebox, etc (it would not display, but be filterable)
- Location_shortname would be Delvename. Or "WB name" if one, or "2x WBs" if two, "All Wbs" if all
- Location_zone would be zone where Lead can be found if different than where it can be scried. And for Leads you don't have yet I would change existing zone info in table from scyzone to leadzone

No PvP flag, but Imperial City as zone name should be clear enough :-)

@inklings data is getting a major pass. So soon will probably be a good time for me to pull their data again and then augment it with the type, short and zone information.

Working again!

OK, so I tried various combinations of the filters and after some fiddling it started working again.
I mean, it was showing nothing, then I think I chose "Motif Chapter" (something I know I had found a lead for) and something showed up. Then I changed the filters back to "All Leads"/"All Zones"/"Everything" and it looks like it's showing everything, so it's working now! Thanks for your help!

If it happens again I'll let you know.

Hi and thanks so much for your work building this mod, its just great.

One thing I do is when I go into a zone is I check with your filters what can be found in that zone and how it can be found.

It would be so nice if when in any zone you could have a /DLfind or similar command that would list in chat purple and above finds in their respective text coloring such as,

(item name) (item type abbreviated) (found from)

item type abbreviated could be: tres, furn, gear, ..., just to reduce the text

I understand if you do not support this suggestion as I guess you have your own direction for this addon.

Anyway, I am writing details in a spreadsheet so I can more easily see what I want to farm.

hi, how can i send info regarding leads that drop from new sources? for example the Sorcerer-King's Blade i got the 3rd lead from Cropsford dailies

I don't think this is something I will do for the moment.

I still have a few other things planned.

It would help to undestand the use case though. Why dump it into chat?

Is it about the staying visible? If yes. Wouldn't it just scroll away with zone/guild/pm chat coming in and be invisible in a very short time?

Is it about the purple and above? Current Zone - Hide Obvious - sort difficulty descending should get you sth close.

some of the things I have been thinking about would be towards these two use cases.

Just selected and copied his whole AD Info Table into a google spreadsheet.
Works like a charm and even allows for filtering on the "difficulty hearts" to make green/blue go away.

wouldn't that be easier?

I actually do. Though I am not quite ready yet. Need to move definitions around and figure out how to do certain things. And it would probably be a good idea if the data about location would have settled. And me or somebody else having done a pass on wording.

It's A LOT to be translated though. Especially Location data. If you want. Have a look at locationdata.lua in my Addon Directory to get a feel.

Will definitely contact you when I am getting ready to tackle that beast.

Looks like my new process isn't as self-evident as I had hoped. Getting quite a few submissions of data that is exactly my own. Need to think of something to make it more obvious that exising info in edit box needs to be replaced by your new find information.

Eso has no easy way to determine what dropped any item. So my Addon can't figure out on its own where Lead came from.

Short Description:

Once you find it, it should tell you about your new lead found in the 2nd row left label. And display existing location info in the right edit box. (you can get there later too if you click on the row of a Lead)

If you have additional info you need to replace existing location info in the Editbox with your own new info then press the label to the left which will open a browser window which will send me your new data.

Got this at 20:17 CET:

258\Reaper's March\Sorcerer-King's Blade\ Sorcerer-King's Blade lead found in Cropsford daily

As I had written to you before I'd start to create unique identifiers for the location data so you can strip all the redundant translatable texts in there and just tranmslate the text ONCE. In your file you would use something like this then:
DISPLAY_LEADS_DROP_LOCATION_DELVE
etc.
which can be used within your localized files to translate them via the translation methods mentioned here:
https://wiki.esoui.com/How_to_add_localization_support

Maybe build yourself an own excel file using these constants already, where you can easily create the lua code from the excel used within your
locationdata.lua file then.
This is how I'm managing it with LibSets e.g.

Hadn't thought to use it on Location Type as well in the locationdata.lua file.

Might even include the short and long location descriptions of those that appear many times like "Innkeeper, General Merchant"

This seems to have suddenly stopped working. I used it a few days ago but today no matter which dropdown I select there is nothing being listed (no old stuff or new leads that I have ready to scry etc). Any idea what happened?

No idea what causes it. If I had to make a wild guess it would be fix I did to display different language names, zones, etc correctly..

What language does your eso run in?

Do you use minion or manual downloads?

Could you post savedvars content for display leads?


Have you tried setting all three filters to many different values.
Not just first filter. This fixed it in all cases so far.

This seems to have suddenly stopped working. I used it a few days ago but today no matter which dropdown I select there is nothing being listed (no old stuff or new leads that I have ready to scry etc). Any idea what happened?
Changing all 3 to another setting then back to defaults seems to have got it to work. I use Minion to install and did try uninstall (and delete savedvars) and reinstall.
