Hey Corodius,
I can confirm, that rarely players health bar got desynced. I cannot say how can one reproduce it, but it happens for me approximately once per two or three weeks. Symptoms are as described below - the bar shows rather high value for HP, but then suddenly you are dead. Also very rarely you can see, that the ggFrames continue to show the shield over healthbar, when there is no shield left anymore. This can happen after very intense fight in pvp. So my guess, that some events that are send by game are not processed by addon, or they come at the same time, and some variables got mixed up, or the events are simply lost by api (when there is a huge queue of them). Anyway, I have looked into the structure of addon, and I cannot say that I see any logical flaws - everything should work, but sometimes (very rarely) it does not. As for short-time buffs - I have stripped this portion of code from FTC addon and implemented it into my own lightweight Lui Extended addon with some code simplifications and additions. And I prefer the combination of ggFrames with Lui Extended together, so I can completely disable FTC for myself. The idea is that ggFrames shows me long-term buffs provided my game API, while my Lui Extended addon tracks user clicking skills and according to internal skill list table I create icons with timers for short-time effects - same thing FTC does in that part.

Healthbar desync
Hello!
Since even before the patch 1.5, I stopped using this addon because of the desync happening on the healthbar. I retried it lately and it still happens quite often. What is happening is that when I get very low health (red flashes on the border or my screen), ggframes still shows my health bar above 70% and when I die, it drops to 0% suddenly. Anyone else experimenting this? Solutions? Thank you!

Movable Raid Frames?
Any plans to add this in to the established addon itself? I previously used another addon to allow me to do this, but it appears that addon is now broken with the last update.

Hi. Thanks for update and support. I got a problem with raid frames. Sometimes the range from members is not correct. If the group stays together, there are 3-4 member that shows not in range. After /reloadui it is ok again.
bigboiler Edit: Got no problems today.

Player DoT animation is too big after resizing bars.
I have resized my health, magicka, and stamina bars to be much smaller. I think I resized them down to 13 to still allow a very small font (10) to still fit and be centered. The problem I am having is that the animation when I have a DoT on me (< < < < <) extends far beyond the height of all of the bars. It looks like increase effects on me (> > > > >) and DoT effects on target (< < < < <) are ok still. Thank you.

Overlay text?
Edit 2: Installed LMP Removed Fonts. Working great now! Thank you.
Edit 1: Please disregard. I just read other posts about the missing fonts. I will check that out. Thank you. Original: I can't get any overlay text to appear. Is this a known issue? I have tried making sure that there are no other UI affecting add-ons loaded to be sure there were no conflicts but nothing ever appears on the bars. I really love the customization of the frames with this add-on but I can't even tell what I have targeted.

Overlay Issue
Hi,
The percentages don't show up on the group/raid frame bars. I have them activated in the settings and I /reloadui but they have yet to show up. They do show up on the player frame however. Any help would be appreciated. EDIT: This issue only happens when in the raid frame, the normal group frame works fine. Is that just the intended design? THanks

Great addon, and it's good to see that it's still being maintained!
I would like to offer a suggestion. Currently, there is no werewolf timer integrated into the addon as there is below the healthbar of the default UI. This causes the werewolf timer to float around where the default health bar is located, because it is not hidden. I would like to see this default werewolf timer bar hidden and to have one integrated into the addon. Keep up the great work with GGFrames! |

I love this addon, and the only thing that I might see could be addressed is when in a raid. Sometimes the group leader will tell everyone in group 1-6 to do something, and ggFrames does not show groups 1-6 like the old, clunky default raid frames does. Would adding some option to indicate the different groups when in a raid, be possible? I've had to switch to the default raid frames at times, and I'd rather not have to. |

Hey Corrodius, about fonts: I saw you added some missing Fontin fonts to your addon and manually register them inside your addon. But you made a mistake in font names: Fontin fonts has ".otf" extension, while you write inside "theme/Functions.lua" in lines 43-46 the ".ttf" extension. By doing this you actually break some things that LMP-RemovedFonts was fixing.
So just correct this lines or completely remove fonts from your addon. This way the user will be able to use only fonts provided by recent version of LMP and any others that addon like LMP-RemovedFonts register with LMP. |
