The Error Too Many Anchors Process is not due to ggFrames however its a bug within the ESO Game whenever too many addons that draw on the screen are active at one time. Until ZeniMax gets around to fixing it, you can use Zolan's Anchors Away add-on to suppress this error.

Also Targetframe! Now it it had classcolors it woud be perfect.

Edit: It woud be great if I coud see the frames while adjusting them.
Also I thought about the Castbar. Since there is no other addon yet that has a castbar it woud be better to make a new addon for this.

Edit 2: How do I move the target frame? When I enable the mouse its gone :/
Hmm ~ so for all frames, whenever you're in the settings and make a change, the frame should them appear. It was then that i was able to move the frame. I'll make that experience a little better.

Castbar Thought: Hmm, Perhaps :P

When in the settings menu first I was not able to see the frames untill I klicked on changing one color. Then the frame suddenly showed up. Same with target frame. I was able to move the target frame but I can't move the player frame when in settings menu but its moveable in the normal world now.
Better woud be if they show up when they are just unlocked.

EDIT: Now I can't move the player frame any more and both frames ressetted. very ood the lock frame option is off

EDIT 2: This realy needs a buff display, without there is no indicator (lightup or moving arrows) if my buffs are up or if I get heal.

EDIT 3: This is not very important more a future request...
I made I little mockup on how I woud love to see the playerframe. Woud be great if you coud look into this. The bars need to bee very high if they all have text in an extra bar. But if there was only one bar (the HP bar) with text in it we coud make the other bars very thin. Also a background for the playername woud be cool. Ah and a display in % is always usefull if there are abbilitys that use % of your magica etc.

two things i mentioned:

the standart target won't disappear. means i have two target frames now. yours and the standard one. or did i miss a "hide standard frames" option?

lua error "Too many anchors processed" persists.

edit:
This error pops up if you have too many anchors set for a control. It usually occurs when creating a control from a template that already has anchors set to whatever its parent will be. When you try to set your own anchors from the Lua file, the game complains. You just need to use :ClearAnchors() on it first. I have seen it before and fixed it this way.

Hmm, what other add-ons are you using? It could be a conflict in add-ons that is making the standard ZO frame appear. Basically the target frame is hidden at start and every time you switch to a target it re-hide the target frame to ensure that its always hidden. I've been running around most of the evening with the new version and haven't encountered this at all, which leads me to believe it could be another addon cause it.

Can you be a little more descriptive on when this issue happens? Are you in the menus trying to do something? Out questing? Paint me a picture [Sadly i'm going to have to debug the issue through you, as neither i nor any of my friends who use this addon encounter that error]. Also whenever the error comes up, a screenshot of it would greatly help!

I swear, you get all the issues, lol!

i read about an config addon limit. so the error may appear automatically when running to much addons. so maybe it isnt an ggframe specific error. dont know.

Actually I have a few problems with this addon when I tried it first today:

- the standard target frame is visible behind your target frame, even if it wasn't visible before (I used WarLegendHUD before, and with that addon I never had that problem)

- i can't find a way to move the target frame, because it's not visible when i am not targeting anything, even if I toggle to "movable" in the settings

- the player frame is resetting to the upper left corner after reloadui.

Cool let me know. I would say disable all addons and make sure it works. Then re-enabled a couple at a time to figure out what addon is conflicting with it.

I was reading that link and i agree with most of the people that it could be that, however you aren't near that limit, so i'm not sure. I might even try to consolidate some add-ons if possible. I am going to push a change to the code (v0.4.1) very soon, let me know if that fixes it at all.

Whenever moving a frame, in order to save its position you need to lock it. I followed the same conventions other addons were doing when implementing this, however i agree its kinda annoying, so i'll end up change it so that whenever you stop moving it, it saves.

Target Frame Moving will be fixed very soon. The best way i can think of doing it currently is to go into the settings and make a change to the target frame, change something and change it back so you still have your desired settings. But by doing this it will toggle the target frame to appear, which you can then move around. Pain, but will be fixed soon.

The original Target Frame is still being shown is an interesting issue, theres another user who is reporting the exact same thing, however I cannot get that to replicate nor can any of my friends who also use this addon. Can you please give me a list of all addons that you are currently use? I feel that there might be a conflict that is causing this. (Regarding warlegends not giving you issues with this, the code that we're using to hide the target frame is identical ^^)

I got 2 questions:

1. Can you add so I can see when my block is down, and when it is up? Active block mitigation addon tells me if I blocked, but not any timer for how long the block lasts. If I understand blocking correctly, I keep blocking for sometime after I have released the right mouse button, I would very much like to see this. There is a skill for 1h + shield which increases Block Mitigation by 2 secs, if this could be a part of the feature im asking?

2. Can I see enemy and friendly players Stamina, Magicka and buffs/debuffs in additition to Health on the target? Ive seen FTC addon can do this, does this addon have the same feature? Its essential for everyone that PvPs. I want a real alternative to FTC.

You got interesting ideas for this addon, and I like it, so I will add this to my favorites.

Too Many Anchors Processed

Hi,

Great progress on this. By far the most promising Unit frame i have tried. One small thing. After a reloadui or upon first load it is throwing a "Too Many Anchors Processed" error. If i close the error and go on it seems to work fine though.

Getting the same error exactly the way Tannhouser is getting it. When would a fix be available for it?

On a more positive topic, love the addon, these unit frames are by far the best-looking ones, and the clearest. Also customization options are never a bad thing.

I'll take a look into the first one.

As far as the Stamina / Magicka for target and group, sadly that is no longer possible. If your version of FTC still has that for target then its outdated. Sadly the game removed that availability from its API. Also Buffs are *very* tricky, because again, those were removed. However its possible to get the long term buffs. but then also show short time buffs for YOUR player, by manually adding the buffs whenever you cast them. (Not very fun! However its coming soon...)

Very good work, also incredibly customizable!

One little request: can you add the font styles, please? I've mean: thick-outline, shadow-outline, etc. It will be really friendly to eyes

I lied, one more request: does it possible to indicate if some of my stats have increased regen rate? Like it made in default ui

And bug report:
Seems like position settings didn't saves
I've set position of bars, then resumed gameplay, then again hit Settings, found ggFrames and all bars turned back to the default places
Also it happens after UI reload

Everything works perfectly otherwise. That's what makes me think it's the aforementioned :ClearAnchors() that is missing.
I do think that there is a "conflict" with Wykkyd's Framework, but I have the UI functions turned off from his mod, so I at least am not having any problems whatsoever except the error message. However, I would expect the two mods to clash quite badly if I did turn the UI functions on from Wykkyd's mod.

Thank you for the quick reply, and as a former modder, I do understand the frustration on tracking down something this obscure. Keep up the good work. :-)
