Tired of wasting a quickslot on things like Assistants, the Antiquarian's Eye, or certain often-used mementos? Assign them to a keybind instead!

When you unlock a collectible, you must /reloadui or re-log before a bind will appear!

Now includes an inoffensive chat notification when a collectible is on cooldown and preventing it from being used, and when switching to a Random or Random Favorite mount.

The only other addon that lets you bind your quickslots that a quick google search revealed is Kyzderp's Derps. I'm just sure there are others, but you'll wanna look at those. Mine doesn't touch quickslots in the least bit. Good luck!

Hello! Unfortunately my addon does not do that. The only one I can think of that does is Bandits UI, which I believe just had an update this morning.

Hmm, I do not use Bandits. But yes, it is probably an interaction with another addon.

If you have just unlocked the assistant, a reloadui is necessary to make it appear in the list of keybinds. Her entry will be in CONTROLS (under Addon Keybinds if you have Votan's Keybinder), tralce's Keybinds - Assistants.

So, in short:
Mine - no limit to number of items you can bind, focused on Mementos, Assistants, and anything else that may appear in Collections
His - Only 9 binds, but supports more collectables (probably) and also items that aren't considered collectables like foods and potions.

His is neat. Might take some inspiration from that one of these days.

At the end of the day, use whichever addon works better for your purposes.

I really don't like the in-game 'Quick Slot Bar' and I started using 'Greymind Quick Slot Bar', but that also didn't favor me much. Key bind addons are much more user-friendly. For example I use 'FOB Companion Helper' and with it I use Shift+C I toggle a companion and Shift+D to disable the addon (if i want to chat with a companion). Once I see a thief box, I unsummon my companion, use Ctrl + P (KeyInv) to sell my stolen goods to Pirharri, I can directly resummon my companion with Shift+C to make Pirharri disappear first.

Now, this is repetitive and you might want to use a macro:
Thief Loot Box:
- unsummon current companion
- open Thief Loot box
- open any crates inside
- summon Pirharri
- fence the stuff
- unsummon Pirharri
- resummon companion

I can also see a use in other things:

Event macro:
- say something "bla bla"
- use memento
- say something "blabla"

Palace macro:
- unsummon pets & assistants
- put on festive costume
- limit walk speed
- after 15-30 mins
- put on previous gear
- resummon all

This goes beyond the scope of the addon, but it surely would be interesting if it was possible without violating ZOS rules.

I didn't know the other one you linked existed. From a glance, marlonbrondo and I have attacked the same issue from two completely different angles. I'll install KeyInv and compare them when I get around to it, but what I can say is that mine appears to support more simultaneous bindings (you can bind as many things with mine as you have keys), and his appears to limit you to 9 binds. However, because of the way his is designed, there's a chance you can bind things that aren't in mine yet, since mine is simpler and all the items in my addon are coded in.

So, in short:
