I will be replacing the user interface of Essential Housing Tools' Housing Hub with this version's in a future update to EHT so that both add-ons will have a consistent look and feel. |

[BUG] Action FX Effects
Hello,
on 1/18/21 I reported a bug in action FX Effects in Essential Housing Tools comments. Unfortunately, the same bug exists in the Housing Hub. The Hub's code seems to be more efficient so the bug happens less often. The issue seems to be in housing.lua#629, where furniture state changes are processed in batches of 5. Reducing the batch size to 1 is working fine as a workaround. You may want to check out this behavior on the portal machine at Saint Delyn Penthouse@aegon65 on PC-EU. Cheers, Gandalf

As for the bug, it is hard to say what happened during your visit based on the picture The concept of the machine is, if you activate a house button, any other enabled button, will be set to off (and the linked visuals). This is sometimes working, sometimes not. If it is not working, then the house button you activated will be turned off at the end. Even there is no effect for. If you reduce the batch to 1 everything runs smooth. For debugging, the example I descriped in the EHT comment is easier to use. If you have closer look, you will notice that EHT will generate quiet a lot of unnecessary triggers. Thanks for looking into this! Cheers, Gandalf

Hello, there is an issue with the actionFXs "Toggle one item with another item" and "Toggle a group of items with another item". This effects trigger state changes even when there is no effect defined for. The issues can be reproduced with the following simple setup: 1) place two light furniture (light A and light B) 2) add 1. "Toggle one item with another item" effect with - when furniture: light A - is: ON - then furniture: light B - will be: OFF 3) add 2. "Toggle one item with another item" effect with - when furniture: light B - is: ON - then furniture: light A - will be: OFF The expected behavior is flip-flop which actually works. But on the end of the cycle most of the time the source light gets turned off. Hope you can address this in a future update. All the best, Gandalf Update: The issue seems to be in business.lua#8139, furniture state changes get processed in batches of 5. I had a closer look and I think I found the cause. It is actually a combination of the batch processing of 5 and EHT.STATE_CHECK_INTERVAL = 20. The processing will be started every 20ms. Sometimes this is not enough to complete the batch and the related state changes. As stated before, reducing the batch to 1 is one way to avoid the issue. I also tested set EHT.STATE_CHECK_INTERVAL = 200. With this value everything runs smooth as well. This is probably the better solution since 20ms loops are a little bit speedy Cheers, Gandalf

Hi. I got the addon today and got this error when I did try to hide UI with addon Photographer
I did disable the Photographer and the default bind couldnt hide the UI either

Error Message Details
Error message below - Additional info, error doesn't happen on all my toons, and after closing the error window, my controls are screwed up, and I have to terminate the game to restart. Hope the info helps.
