I use your addon too, because I find it very usefull for handling sereral characters and sereral profiles for one character. So I have open all the time the comment section of Dynamic CP to observe the newest changes. Want to stay up to date |

It works for my red cp and blue cp, but it won't slot the slottables in the green cp.
So my process: 1) Clear all points 2) Distribute my points 3) Hit confirm to set and save my CP 4) I'll create a new preset & name it, then click save to save my current CP configuration to the preset Then to test: 1) Clear all my points 2) Hit confirm with 0 points invested 3) Wait 30 seconds for the cooldown 4) Then click the preset for all 3 trees, and hit 'Apply' for all 3 5) The red and blue CP work, the points get invested & the slottables are in 6) The green CP half works. The points get invested, but the slottables are not slotted. |

Might be outside the scope of your addon but I'd like some way to be able to immediately tell that a node on the CP tree is maxed when I look at it: e.g. Out of Sight from the Craft tree only has 30 levels, but even if you've maxed it there's no way to know that without looking at the tooltip.
Also I'd like an option to disable the class toggles: while I do like the idea I personally don't have any use for it as I will only have a few presets overall. Shouldn't the list of changes disappear or rather switch to "no changes" after applying a preset? I can currently apply a preset and yet the list of changes still reflect what that preset is about to do even though I just changed to that preset. Displaying the non-slottable passives with their current levels could also prove useful for the preset summary window below the slots for the stars.

2. Yeah, it used to make a lot more sense when I was making the addon for CP1.0. Now I don't even use those buttons myself. Adding that to the todo list. 3. I think they should disappear after hitting Confirm, probably. I have a lot of cleaning up to do around that changes list thing, it's ugly xD 4. I'm not sure I'm correctly understanding what you mean by that. You want the number of points in the passives displayed where? |

A question for YOU instead: What is your use case for this? i.e. why do you want the point allocation presets to also save slottables? I am planning to add: 1. HUD menu (outside of the CP screen) with dropdowns that display currently slotted stars and also will allow you to quickly manually switch which stars you have slotted 2. Custom user-defined rules for what stars to (semi-)automatically slot on specific triggers. For example, upon entering a dungeon, slot Liquid Efficiency, Treasure Hunter, etc. Or another, upon the Archcustodian appearing in HoF, attempt to slot something other than Backstabber, potentially prompting the user whether they want to respec if they don't have a different slottable with enough points in it. Would these two planned features cover what you want to do with slottable presets? |

- Coloring the label of a star in a specific color(maybe even with a customizable color) - Coloring the star itself in a specific color(maybe even with a customizable color) - An additional current level/max level counter after the name of a star in its label - A current level/max level counter on the right/below the adjustable number of each star 4. Your addon already provides a small toolbar with name + current level of each slottable. What I meant was to expand that idea to also list the non-slottable passives with their current level, but only for the ones which have at least 1 level. Scope: once you're familiar with the new CP tree reading the name of a passive + its level will be enough to know what your current setup is and if it needs changes.

- Vanilla CP tree: I have to manually adjust non-slottable passives + slottable stars for each character, and I have no option to save and/or share a preset with other characters on my account - With your addon: I can now create + share presets for non-slottable passives, but for some reason slottable stars aren't saved in the preset and instead every available star will be slotted, and if more than 4 stars are unlocked per tree then the addon will randomly select them or not Your first point would fix that, but it just looks so inefficient to me to implement a separate menu just for the slottable stars when you already have presets which just need to also save the currently slotted stars, though on second thoughts I'm torn between 2 use-cases on different ends of the spectrum: - Scenario A: you swim in CP and have e.g. unlocked 5+ stars in each tree -> in that case having non-slottable passives and slottable stars handled by different mechanism makes sense, because unlike redoing the passives just slotting/removing the slottable stars costs nothing - Scenario B: you don't even have enough CP to unlock more than 3 or 4 stars -> in that case having the preset also save the slottable stars makes it far easier, because why should I adjust my slottable stars in a separate window when I don't even have enough of them to make a choice in the first place Hmm: having a separate mechanism just to save/slot the stars is quite appealing, though I'd prefer to have it either in the CP tree and/or in the same window as the presets. If you do separate them then your info text for the presets needs to reflect that they only save the non-slottable passives. Your second point about semi-automatically slotting stars based on rules does sound interesting, but are there really so many uses-cases where you have to swap several times between stars on a single character to make such an implementation worth it? As I'm just a single data point: with 1,1k CP and after having created presets for each of the base roles of - MagDD - StamDD - Heal - Tank I only need to swap the green tree for crafting and gathering with the default preset for the green tree. If I had more CP or a different distribution, especially in blue, I might need to swap more, but as it stands I don't have more than 4 stars in total, except in the green tree.

I really like the quickslot feature; however, locked or unlocked, it cannot be moved. Would really like to be able to move it somewhere out of the way! |
