Guild Store Search Extended [En/Fr/De] Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

This is an enhanced version of Guild Store Search by evoran. It's a really useful add-on but I wanted to add some enhanements.

Features

Allows you to do a textual search for items in the guild stores you have access to.
Displays the results sorted by unit price.
You can search an individual guild or search across all guilds to find the cheapest.
It will get every item for sale in the guild store(s) you select. Then you can search for items that match the text you enter.
Search for the current item you are selling.
Provides statistics of max, min and average unit price.
Calculates advised sale price for currently selected stack.
Configure undercut percentage
Store data is held across sessions reducing the number of searches or visits to the guild store required.
Item stats are now calculated across multiple sessions, giving you the overall item cost across all your sessions and the current session. This data is displayed in item tooltips (configurable).
Keybind for opening/closing the GSSE window.

Take your GS data everywhere!

GSSE stores your last results from the guild store and allows you to look at them at anytime. This means that you can scan the store when you are in a city but see the results whilst out in the wilds! This also means results can be seen across your characters.

Guild store searching is more intelligent with only the specified guild results being updated meaning you can refresh guild when you choose but still have old search data.

Trending

GSSE not supports basic trending. It tracks the overall average, max and min for every item and also the same data for the current session (if you have scanned the guild store). It then makes recommendations on what price to sell for and buy for. This is all presented in the standard item tooltip (configurable)

How to use

Press the Guild Store Search button while a Guild Store is open.

Select a specific guild or choose All. Then press Retrieve.
Once all the items have been retrieved from the selected guild stores,
type the text you want to find (or double click the text box to get the name of the current item you are selling) and press Find Match .
You can match the text to items from a specific guild or items from all guilds.
Use quotes for exact matching, no quotes for partial matching.
Type different text or select different guilds and press Find Match again
to search the stored results again.
You can press Retrieve again to update the items from the guild stores.

To buy an item, press the " Go To Page " button. It will change the main Guild Store interface to the page where the item you want to buy can be found. You still have to scroll down to that item and buy it.

Expected safeguards:
- A maximum number of CSV's to retain history (disk preservation)
- A price history expiration for aforementioned preservation (check CSV timestamp, delete if older than X days? We could default to seven days. User can change this setting, if they wish, on the mod window)

Main reason for this is accounting for the severity of page scans - users like myself are going to want to walk away, get a drink while waiting for retrieval, get annoyed it's still retrieving, go have a stretch in the backyard, come back, and boom - user was logged off for inactivity, user flips desk in frustration, same user could have been the person who won the next nobel peace prize, but ended up ragequitting.

Despite the inactivity counter, it is highly sought for it's redundancy. The power could be cut, and we'll still have price history, at least!

For expand-ability, we could say perhaps even the CSV data could become part of some P2P global price checking system, should one wish to pursue such a noble cause.

I personally fixed the silliness in the Lua files to configure the search delay, before you folk plugged it in, though my programming experience is elsewhere, I'm willing to assist where I can.

Unfortunately, most of what you ask for is not possible via ESO. We cannot create data files of our own format, copy, delete, etc or integrate with any internet services. We have to store data within the game and that limits us because large data sets will have an impact on the game. There are a couple of changes being tracked that will go some way to getting what you are after:

Annnnd? I said the original addon (Guild Store Search) got updated to work properly with 1.0.6. This one is a fork and thus does not support it (yet). Use the other one because it actually works.

Mextil Forum posts: 0 File comments: 9 Uploads: 0	Since Patch 1.06 I get a Message from the game saying that I made too many "queries" (Don't know the right English word) The addon stops after the first Page listing only 100 Items found, which cannot be right. Seems ZOS made some adjustments to the time between searches in the Guild store, leaving us with now absolutly no way to search the Guildstores. Maybe that is to prevent exploits, I don't know... A serachfunction of their own, however, is still missing... I hope there is a way to make this marvelous addon to work again.

Was working last night 4/29 but not today. Followed all the proper steps you have listed. Discovered thar I was using the wrong guild search button and window.
