Bar Steward - Multi Toolbar  Updated this week!  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 3.0.1
by: FlatBadger [More]
Inspired by Wykkyd toolbar, Bar Steward provides 136+ widgets (and counting) that can be placed across multiple bars, aligned either horizontally or vertically. Some of the widgets provide additional information when hovered over. Others can open UI elements when clicked. Some widgets can also provide an audible alert and an on-screen message.

There are also keybinds to toggle hiding/showing of specific bars and a widget creator to create widget for porting to your houses (compatible with Port To Friend's House), also with keybinds.

Available in English, French, German and Chinese

It might be the scale doing that - I'll have a play if/when I get the chance. The bar should stretch full width regardless of screen size, but I may need to play around with the way the scale is applied to it.

EDIT:
v.1.5.7 should hopefully address this by fixing the left and right edges of the bar to the screen edge regardless of scale or resolution

Hey, thanks very much for trying! It's much appreciated, I'm coming with a feedback on the screen-wide feature, was a bit busy these days and couldn't come with it earlier.

When turning the feature on, my bar overlay is moved to the left side of the screen, the widgets remain centered, but the overlay doesn't cover my whole screen, you can see in the following screenshots:

Full-screen Off:
Warning: Spoiler

Full-screen On:
Warning: Spoiler

Maybe it's because of using different screen resolutions? Mine is 1920x1080.

Nice to hear and understandable. I can't wait for v2, all the best!

Hmm - shouldn't matter. The widget uses a Zenimax callback that fires each time a bag slot is updated. One to keep an eye I guess - worth seeing if the in-game bag slot count updates properly at the point too.

Put probably 100 items in my bank, hitting the max, but the widget didn't continue to update. It stopped at 413/480. I switched characters after that, and it was 480/480 on the next character. So I don't know if there's some sort of delay that I just needed to wait on for it to update or what, But I thought you might like to know.

The logic inversion for Transmutes works perfectly -- I now have a color warning when close to the cap. THANKS!!!

The global setting should still take effect for any widgets that you have never changed the default colours on.

Ah - that makes a lot more sense now. Actually I had thought of a slightly simpler way to achieve this in code - it turned out to be a lot more code than I anticipated, but it's done now, so, meh. It will be in the next release

Yes, I know, but being able to personalise even more widgets this way would sure be nice. At least where it applies. I did not try the "global level" thing yet as it implies reinstalling BarSteward with fresh SavedVars and redoing my setup, but I will eventually.

Right, I don't know why I listed that, I never used the feature and I forgot it exists probably, lol.

Because I'd like the bar to be screen wide to complement my other UI elements better. But it's not something important, so there's no need to bother implementing it if it's hard to do ^^

I can do something like this, adding more widgets to make it screen wide, but there are some annoying things when doing this: when some of the widgets increase in number/size, the widgets at the ends go "through the screen" so to say or if I want to use the autohide feature for some of the widgets, this will cause my bar to "shrink" when they're hidden.

I wouldn't use this myself, but would a "blank" or "padding" widget work here? Just a widget that adds a specified number of blank spaces wherever it is placed. Would that solve the request without any change to the resizing logic?

I'm not sure that's appropriate for transmutes. For those, I think most people are worried about "hitting the cap" (and then losing additional rewards), so the warning/danger needs to be ABOVE a certain level. Same as already done for Event Tickets; most people aren't as worried about "running out" of these as they are about going over the cap and losing rewards.

The "BELOW" logic is certainly appropriate for consumables like potions, food, poisons, and so forth. But perhaps having a way to reverse the thresholds would be helpful for items where a maximum cap exists, and the concern is more about exceeding the cap than running out?

I see, that tricked me then, i did not reload the UI after enabling it, sorry for that.
It's not surprising as the option doesn't say you need to .. because you shouldn't need. Still not figured that one out yet.

I understand. It's something I'd really love to have, but maybe sometime in the future, who knows. No pressure ^^

It really is! You'll love this one. It must be the fourth bar addon I'm trying and no other comes close to it.

There is a personalisation option I'd like to suggest to FlatBadger though: the option to set the bar screen-wide like Raetia info hub which is no longer being maintained has, if possible. Raetia also has some nice personalisation options that would benefit your addon and are worth checking out in my opinion ^^

Also, I want to point out that the setting Main Bar -> Show Whilst in Game Menu doesn't seem to work (if the setting is intended to show the bar while in the settings menu for example).
