Inspired by Wykkyd toolbar, Bar Steward provides 136+ widgets (and counting) that can be placed across multiple bars, aligned either horizontally or vertically. Some of the widgets provide additional information when hovered over. Others can open UI elements when clicked. Some widgets can also provide an audible alert and an on-screen message.

I use Bandits UI myself, which is probably why I totally overlooked a widget for companions. I'll look at adding them in v2 if I ever get around to finishing the testing and bugfixing.

Bug at transmute crystals

Hi, I found a bug regarding the transmute crystals.

There is a false elseif and a false sequence of the checks at data/widgets/currency.lua:376

Should be:

Gear Durability

The "Lowest Item Durability" widget does not seem to get updated when repairing at merchant. For example, I just did a "repair" at the merchant and all gear is at 100%, but the widget still shows the old, unrepaired status (49% overall, with individual pieces between 49% and 64%.

After /reloadui, the correct 100% status is displayed.

Can the "repair" event be caught and the widget updated appropriately?

I tend to use another addon to auto-repair using kits, so I managed to miss this one. Should be fixed in 1.7.1, but I did have to add a short delay to allow time for the server to sync, so let me know if it misbehaves.

I spotted a bug here... I chose Repair at the merchant, then (accidentally) chose Cancel. Right after that, even though none of my gear had been repaired, Bar Steward showed everything at 100% (both the overall and each individual item in the pop-up).

I tried to replicate this today, but could not. Selecting "Repair" and then "Decline" did not change any of the durability levels reported by BS. When I did that yesterday, BS changed to show 100% for everything, even though nothing had been repaired (game UI still showed partial durability for each item). So I don't know, maybe an anomaly or something intermittent. But it's working fine now. :-)

Okay, I was able to replicate this. Yesterday, I noticed BS showing all gear 100% after I selected "Repair" then "Decline" at the merchant -- and thought that sequence caused it. I was wrong. I think the actual behavior was that BS was already showing 100% before I even interacted with the merchant (though armor was not actually at 100%).

Today I ran through a public dungeon, went to a wayshrine and ported to Vivec. At that point, I noticed BS showed all my armor at 100%, but the game UI showed each piece at lower levels (all around 90%).

I manually repaired (1) piece with a repair kit -- which triggered BS to update, and after that the list in BS showed correct values for all items (i.e., 100% for the one I just repaired, and ~90% on the others). Then I did a merchant repair, and again BS was updated properly (all items at 100%).

So... What event(s) cause the Durability widget to update? It seems like maybe its update just isn't triggered reliably (or frequently enough, or at all the correct times) and is remaining at 100% even though gear has incurred damage. Perhaps it should get called when leaving combat, is that possible?

Did more testing, and... the Durablility widget just isn't updating for me. It stays at 100%, no matter how much damage I have. It updates if I do a "repair" (whether via kit or merchant), but doesn't update during normal activities (combat, zone travel, etc).

Maybe a conflict with another addon? But I don't think I had this issue until the latest version of BS, and I haven't loaded any new addons.

No conflict, I think I was just trying to be a bit too clever with the code. I've simplified it and it seems to behave now. v1.7.3 should do the trick.
