Allows you to save chat tab configurations and load them in all your characters. Remembers the tabs you create and the filters you've enabled/disabled in each tab. Also remembers the category colors and font size that you choose in Settings > Social.
Usage:
/chatsetup save <name>
- saves the current chat tab configuration as <name>
/chatsetup load <name>
- loads the chat tab configuration called <name>
- Note that this will reload the UI
WARNING: You will lose the current tab configuration when you execute this.
/chatsetup list
- lists the configurations you've saved
/chatsetup remove <name>
- removes the configuration called <name>
/chatsetup clear
- removes all saved configurations
Notes:
- Loading a tab configuration requires the UI to be reloaded. Unfortunately I could not make it work otherwise.
- Partial support for ChatMultiWindow addon. It will load the chat windows and tabs correctly but you may have to reposition the chat windows manually.

Is this addon supporting pChat addon too?
It's a wide spread and used chat related addon featuring the same possibilities for "Chat config sync" between characters.
-> "Chat config sync" means it will copy the currently active character's chat tabs and their channels and config to the next logged in character, and so on to the next. Automatically -> This is done at EVENT_PLAYER_ACTIVATED as the chat is ready then first (it's not fully loaded at EVENT_ADD_ON_LOADED !).
Your addon is only loading the saved chat configs manually, right?
So there should not be any problems between the 2 addons I'd say.

Please put such into the "Changelog" tab while you update your addon.
There is "Descripton" and "Changelog", where the changelog is shown as a seperate tab then on esoui.com and in Minion, so we can easily read the latest changes and do not have to scroll to the bottom of the description.
A best practice on the changelog is to keep the changes chronologically with the newest changes at the top.
Hi there, thanks for your addon.
Is this addon supporting pChat addon too?
In 2014 this addon worked with pChat and I was using both addons together.
I have not tested the two together since I got back to the game in 2024. I don't believe "Chat config sync" existed in pChat in 2014 otherwise I would not have made this one. Anyone using pChat probably does not need this one as pChat is much more full-featured.
