What is this AddON good for?

This smart multitalent helps you to improve some weakness (like the missing bank/inventory space) of the original UI. It also shows you informations about the time played or always shows the experiencebar - if you would like that.


What is already possible?

At this time there is implemented:
- inventory and/or bank space display
- buff display
- loot messages
- gold loot messages
- XP gain messages
- play time information
- level and attributes always shown (configurable)
- localized for german und english clients (DE/EN)


Bank/Inventory space display:
GameInfo allows you to place a permanent inventory and/or bank space display onto the UI, so you no longer have to open your inventory to see how much space is left. This display is free moveable as well as been hidden

buff display
buffs often run off unseen - maybe this display will help you to take notice about a missing buff. The buff display is also free moveable and can be hidden

loot messages
if you have set the automated looting to on, you will save thousands of clicks, but you are not noticed WHAT you have gained.GameInfo can help you by sending the name of the plunder to the chat. Also this function is enabled to be turned off of course

play time information
While entering the world (and repeating in configurable intervals) GameInfo may report you the total gametime played for this character (you may get this info by typing /gi at any time)

localized for german und english clients (DE/EN)
GameInfo currently supports german (DE) and english (EN) game clients

Wofür ist dieses AddON gedacht?

Dieses kleine Multitalent behebt einige Schwächen (wie die fehlende Anzeige der freien Bank-/Taschenplätze und/oder Buffs) in der originalen UI. Es zeigt auf Wunsch Informationen an, wie lange der aktive Character bereits gespielt wird.


Was ist bereits alles möglich?

Implementiert ist derzeit:
- Anzeige der Bank/Taschenbelegung
- Anzeige der aktiven Buff's
- Anzeige der erhaltenen Gegenstände (Loot)
- Anzeige des erhaltenen Goldes
- Anzeige der erhaltenen Erfahrung
- Anzeige der gespielten Zeit
- Stufe und Attribute werden immer angezeigt (einstellbar)
- Lokalisierung für deutsch und englisch (DE/EN)


Anzeige der Bank/Taschenbelegung:
GameInfo erlaubt das Einblenden einer permanenten Taschenbelegungsanzeige, damit man nicht ständig in das Inventar wechseln muss. Diese Anzeige ist frei positionier- und abschaltbar

Anzeige der aktiven Buff's
Buff's laufen oft unbemerkt aus - hier hilft vielleicht eine Anzeige der noch aktiven Buff's um derartige Situationen erkennen zu können. Diese Anzeige ist frei positionier- und abschaltbar

Anzeige der erhaltenen Gegenstände (Loot)
Stellt man das automatische Plündern an, so spart man zwar einige Klicks, weiss jedoch gar nicht mehr, was man erhalten hat. GameInfo behebt dies, indem es die geplünderten Gegenstände in das Chatfenster schreibt. Diese Funktion ist natürlich auch abschaltbar

Anzeige der gespielten Zeit
Beim Eintritt in die Welt (und auf Wunsch auch wiederholt in einstellbaren Zeitabständen) berichtet GameInfo die mit diesem Charakter gespielte Zeit in das Chatfenster (jederzeit auch mit /gi abrufbar)

Thanks... I'll get the new version once home. Also I think I need to find the issue and use garkins fix with TiEmote which is giving the same.

True, I have changed some color settings on some other addons which then might have resulted this for some reason.

You will get this error when you change colors in settings menu. It is because function GI.ColorToHTML(r,g,b,a) does not return alpha value in hex string - it returns just "RRGGBB" instead of expected "RRGGBBAA".

Lightbulb Inventory/Bank info

I think the Inventory/Bank counts look better stacked.



Where can I send a zip'd copy of gameinfo.xml? (I've also re-formatted it a bit to make it easier to read)

I have also made some adjustments to localization.lua if you're interested. (just some english changes)

danke für Deine Anregungen!

Ich habe Deine Ideen gerne übernommen, die Standardwerte für die Alarmierung wegen unzureichenden Platzes allerdings ein wenig nach oben gesetzt (aber das ist ja konfigurierbar).

Wo ich ein wenig von Deinem Vorschlag abgewichen bin, ist bei der Farbgebung.
Ich färbe den Taschenplatz gelb ein bei der Warngrenze, aber nur in ein dezentes orange wenn es eng wird.
Rot hielt ich für zu alarmierend - das kommt erst, wenn das Inventar oder die Bank tatsächlich voll ist (100%).

Wie Du schon bemerkst, versuche ich möglichst wenig Farbe zu verwenden ;-)

Kleiner Anzeigerfehler bei Bankplatz >100

Hallo, Sternentau

Wenn der Bankplatz >100 hat, wird das in der Screenanzeige rechts etwas abschnitten.
Jedoch habe ich das selber für mich gelöst, in dem ich deinen Code angepasst habe (GameInfo.xml):
offsetX="35" und Dimensions x="75"

Ausserdem, da ich ein Fan von Farben bin ;-),
habe ich in Deinem Code ncoh folgende Änderungen gemacht:

1. Wenn die Belegung des Platzes (Inventar/Bank) größer 75% ist, wird die Farbe der Zahl gelb.
Und wenn >90%, dann wird die Farbe rot.
Die Grenzwerte (75/90%) sind im Menü konfigurierbar per Sliders.

2. Wenn man Gold bezahlt, wird der String "Gold bezahlt" im Chat rot eingefärbt.

Ich würde dir gerne, wenn gewünscht, die
geänderten Dateien zusenden incl. Screenshots-Ordner.
Die geänderten Zeilen sind alle dokumentiert (Nach "PaulDenton" suchen).

Error in English localization file

Addon is great, but I don't keep stats bar turned on by default. I couldn't figure out why I didn't see the attribute on/off in config settings.

Localization.lua has duplicated lines like this:

GI.locDisplayStufeConfig="show player level"
GI.locDisplayStufeConfigDsc="always display the player character level"
GI.locDisplayStufeConfig="show player attributes"
GI.locDisplayStufeConfigDsc="always display the player character attributes"

Instead of this:

GI.locDisplayStufeConfig="show player level"
GI.locDisplayStufeConfigDsc="always display the player character level"

Ingame Lootlist + Settingsmenu nach meinen Änderungen.

Servus pauldenton99,

hmmm... ich habe die Ausgabe aller Informationen etwas optimiert, so dass nicht mehr alles in einer separaten Zeile ausgegeben wird, sondern XP, Gold und Loot aufsummiert und in so wenig Ausgaben wie nur immer möglich im Chat erscheint. Dermeist wird das XP/VP sein (wenn der Mob besiegt ist), sowie Loot und Gold zusammen und in Summe, wenn Du pluenderst.

Moeglicherweise brauchen wir dann gar keine weitere Sonderfarbe mehr...?
