Wykkyd Full Immersion allows you to hide default game windows such as the Compass, Quest Tracker(s) and even the Targetting Reticle. All settings are configured via the ESC > Settings > Addon Settings menu.

Features
  • Auto-Sheath weapon out of combat
  • Auto-Show helm during combat
  • Keybind-able helmet toggle
  • Smart-Hide targetting reticle
  • Hide the quest window, compass, Alert window and more
  • Add Subtitles to your screen (fully configurable)
  • Completely overhaul your COMPASS
    • Unlock the compass to make it moveable
    • Lock the compass horizontally to keep it centered
    • Hide the Tip/Legend text over top of the compass
    • Hide the Compass background
    • Scale the entire Compass
    • Scale the Tip/Legend text
    • Set the Compass Height/Width
    • Set the Compass Opacity

Advanced Setting Controls (available in all Wykkyd's Addons)
  • Save To Default - This feature saves a snapshot of your logged in character's CURRENT settings as a save set named SYSTEM DEFAULT.
  • Load System Default - This loads the current SYSTEM DEFAULT as your character's settings and effectively sets your character to MIMIC the SYSTEM DEFAULT. This behaves exactly like Mimic below, with the exception that the SYSTEM DEFAULT only ever changes when you manually save to it from any character, by clicking Save To Default.
  • Mimic... - This sets the current logged in character to adopt the settings of another character until this value is changed. This causes the logged in character's saved settings to reset every time you log in or Reload UI to be like the mimic'ed character. If you set George to mimic Bob, as you save settings on Bob while playing those settings will become George's settings too whenever you log into George. As you play George and change his settings manually, those changes become temporary unless you clear the Mimic box. This affords some fairly awesome opportunities for your play sessions.
  • Wykkyd's Preferences (where available) - This will Reload UI and set your active character to the basic settings that Wykkyd uses for that addon for his characters as his STARTING point, he customizes each character from there and you are encouraged to also do so.
  • Reset All - Resets all settings inside the Advanced Setting Controls section for that addon, for that character

Use of SYSTEM DEFAULT allows you to basically create system-wide default settings. I say "system" because these settings are not filtered by account name. So if three people share your computer, they all adopt the system defaults (if they selectively choose to do so). This is a "neat trick" for people with multiple accounts as it lets you share settings across all of them.

For example, if you log into your first character and set every Wykkyd addon up the way you want. Then in each you click "Save To Default", one by one. You've now established your "baseline", if you will. You can then log into each character you have (regardless of number of accounts), including that same first character, and inside each, in each addon, click "Load System Default". Now every single character will use the same settings. In fact, because you saved defaults from character 1 and then set character 1 to use those same defaults, even that character is inheriting the SYSTEM DEFAULT every single time it loads. This means if you're on character 7 and decide to change your default for all, all you have to do is tweak your settings and click "Save To Default" and every single character you set up this way gets those settings automatically.

WARNING: System Default, and Mimic, can be dangerous. As of this time this ALSO includes saved item sets, gear sets, quest header settings, tracked achievements... IE: it includes data saved by the addons too. THIS WILL BE CHANGING IN THE FUTURE to be more intuitive and robust. But I didn't want to delay this feature until that was 100% polished. After all, this is fairly useful as is.

Thanks for this addon, the game would drive me nuts without it.

I'm having one problem: Compass opacity only functions when I first set it or change the transparency. When I tap alt it'll default back to 100% solid every time and stay that way. I've tried disabling all my other addons but that didn't fix the issue. The compass transparency setting will still read as lower than 100% despite it not being transparent anymore but will not reapply as transparent until I change the percent again. The transparency will once again fail as soon as an inventory menu is opened (alt key, or any other way).

I tried reinstalling with this latest live server + PTS release but still the same issue. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated!

I can no longer get this addon working at all.

What I have done:

I deleted all my addons (the entire live folder also)
Ensure I had the framework installed

The settings appear, but none of them do anything

Any ideas?

Edit: Downgraded to older version and it's working now

Hey Wykkd, awesome work on the addon(s), love the suite.

But I am also experiencing this bug. Whenever I teleport/die/quest updates the compass resets it's width.

Just wanted to let you know it's not an isolated thing.

Keep up the awesome work! Don't know what I'd do if you stopped updating :P

Wykkyd's Toolbar toggle

I use and really enjoy all your addons.
I often go into immersion mode, using your addon to help me achieve this. I use one keybind to toggle off the compass and the quest tracker. When I want to immerse I like to have nothing showing on the screen when out of combat.
The only item which isn't removed is your Toolbar. This is also not hidden when interacting with an NPC.

1) Is there any way to include the toolbar as one of the items which is hidden via your Immersion addon?
2) Would it be possible to hide the toolbar when interacting with an NPC?

Apologies if either of these questions have been asked before. I searched, but couldn't see anything.

I can't re-create your issue :/
I have no other add-ons installed. All I did was click the Enable Hideables option and tinker with the compass options, by changing the width to 400 and the height to 40. Just using a wayshrine causes the compass to revert back to its original size.
I will see if I can find any way that this problem could occur. I am having no such issues on any character, nor is my wife or any guildmates.

As you suggested I removed all Wykkyd add ons and I just installed Wykkyd's Gaming Suite which had everything I needed, and it's all working sweetly. I had previously been updating all my add ons via Minion.

What did you download?

I just tested:
  • Installing Gaming Suite & playing
  • Installing Framework & some other Wykkyd stand-alone addons and playing
  • Installing Gaming Suite & overwriting some Wykkyd addons with stand-alone versions and playing
  • Several other combinations of the above

All worked fine. I suggest downloading your addons by hand, completely removing any folder starting with Wykkyd beneath your Addons folder (documents/elder scrolls online/live/addons) and then installing those manually downloaded zips by hand into that folder (just drag them into the addons folder via your right mouse button and select "Extract Here" from the popup menu).

If your problems stemmed from downloading via Minion, which I'm starting to think they did, please post your experiences in THIS THREAD so that Dolby can try to help.

Is there any chance/way your able to toggle on and off the chat with immersion? I know i can minimize it, but i would like to hide it all together. I love your addons and im glad that you took over some of my favorite addons that are no longer updated!

Note: I'm deleting the useless arguing back and forth from the thread, Nolan. It doesn't help anyone. If you've a legitimate complaint or feedback, send it to me in a private message. Keep it constructive and you'll get a respectful response.
