This addon will improve your skills window. It introduces following changes:
- shows active abilities experience gained/total and percentage inside experience bars,
- the above applies also to skills,
- experience bars are slightly higher, so the internal labels are more visible,
- labels next to morphed active abilities include name of the root ability (in brackets),
- when mouse is over active ability experience bar 2 tooltips will appear: bottom one is the same as the icon's one and the other showing next rank informations,
- when mouse is over "+" button next to purchased passive ability another tooltip will appear showing upgrade information.
- the same tooltip will appear when the mouse is over purchased passive ability (in addition to the original tooltip),
- when mouse is over a purchased active ability two additional tooltips will appear. If the skill is not morphed they will show both morphs at morph rank. If the skill is after morph they will show next rank information in both morphs (so you will know what you are missing ).
- the checkbox in the skill window header allows you to disable/enable display of detailed skills progression

The addon is compatible with Shinni's SpentSkillPoints addon.

display without points/morph availability

not sure if this is what datbunneh already talked about, but when we have no skillpoints available, or the skill isn't yet maxed out, we can't see the morphs (eventually) available. any way to work around this? i mean, sure, we can just alt-tab to a game wiki, but still, having all the information at your fingertips in-game all the time is so neat!

Is it possible to make both morphs' leveling progress visible when hovering the original active skill (would be useful after respec) or alternate morph progress when hovering a morphed skill. It would be useful for ones who want to max out all skills.

Overlapping w/ Wykkyd's Outfitter

FYI the new "Show detailed skill progression" option is being overlapped by Wykkyd's Outfitter menu. I had to disable Outfitter before I could click the option. Not a big deal for me as I only want percentages. But others may want to toggle details. Thanks again for the last update.

Kromus, I did some changes you suggested in 1.2 version. Should be better now.

Doing a /reloadui fix the problem for a bit then I get the error back again.
I'm not really sure if it is caused by this addon, as I'm getting this error even when this addon is disabled.

InventorySlot.lua lines:

0226: local controlType = inventorySlot:GetType()
1972: local buttonPart, listPart = GetInventorySlotComponents(inventorySlot)
2035: ZO_InventorySlot_OnMouseEnter(tooltipAttachedTo:GetOwner())
In other words, tooltip is not attached to valid inventory slot.

So, my guess would be some addon that modifies owner (parent) of tooltips. I will try to find out which addon causes this issue.

EDIT:
This slash command fixes the error message:

Now to find which addon does not hide ComparativeTooltip1 when it should be hidden. (Craft Compare?)

Recommendations for layout

Can you please make option to keep original colors of bars or to choose which color we want? White numbers on red background with white stripe at middle is not easy to read. Flat bars are also option. Having bars in color of abilities is better than to all use same color if we can't have option for custom bars. Also, can you please use thinner font in brackets with name of non-morphed ability (like numbers on bars just a bit smaller font) while you would keep bold font for morphed ability? You could also use a bit smaller font for numbers on top of bars. Think layout would be cleaner and with better visibility with these changes implemented. Thanks for effort!
