Extras

Since pChat hasnt been updated in some time, will you maybe build in some of those features into this addon? Like timestamps and guild abbreviations?

Would just be nice to have it in one addon and not need 2 and one being outdated. But as always nice work and thanks

Also woud be cool to see the guildnumber a person is in when you wisper with him.
Like I post the same massage of LFM VR Doungon xyz in 4 guilds and then one person answers me in a wisper, now I woud like to see from what guild he is and his level/class without going through the guildroster of all 4 guilds or asking him
I'll take a look into it, but at the moment preparing addons for the next upcoming patch.
Shure! Take your time, I can live with how it is now for a while
Updating your addons for the upcoming patch is more important of cause!
Should be working on all channels now.

As soon as I disabled pNames, it worked perfectly for me. I dont mind it that much because I really can see both charname@account with Guild Chat, but I guess it was worth to report.

I can upload a screenshot later, I dont use any other chat addon besides pchat/pnames.
The way how pNames create player names/links would lead to invalid links. Besides the functionality that pNames provides is available in GuildChat, so no need to run both of them.
Yes I noticed is redundant to have them both working.

Now I have a little request/feedback would it be possible to add a simple EP/AD/DC near the level to show the alliance instead of coloring the accname or charname with class and the level with alliance?

Like:
V12(white for templar)DC-charname@accname
Instead of:
V12(blue for DC)-charname(white for templar)@accname

Its simply because, when you have 5 trade guilds and people start linking items, the charnames being completely coloured for classes (those arghonian names are really long..) and the level for alliance makes the chat too colourful.

Maybe you can enable/disable the alliance text, and then being able to configure a colour for it? So people can keep using the way it works now colouring the names for classes.

thanks for the great addon!
All options can be coloured the way you want it. Check the addon settings. So if u want V12 based on class colour, you can set it in the settings. A 2 letter notation for the alliance can be added, but atm preparing addons for the new patch, so i'll see when i get around doing it.

Its simply because, when you have 5 trade guilds and people start linking items, the charnames being completely coloured for classes (those arghonian names are really long..) and the level for alliance makes the chat too colourful. Colouring only the level (3 digits max) and adding two more digits for alliances (wich could be green as the rest) would make it less distracting.

Maybe you can enable/disable the alliance text, and then being able to configure a colour for it? So people can keep using the way it works now colouring the names for classes.

thanks for the great addon!

This is due to eso changing the way how links are being handled. I'll see if i can put also the character name back in soon.
