This addon will add boss icons to your map/minimap in Veteran dungeons.
Boss tactics can be seen by hovering over the boss icons (See screenshot for example).
Tactics can be shared via the chat with the group or any other chat channel (Handy for random pick-up-groups!)

Change Log:
- v0.1: Initial release.
- v0.2: Updated to match API version 100004 which came out with patch 1.1.2
- v0.3: Option to dump boss tactics from minimap to group chat ie for PUGs. Left click on boss icon.
- v0.4: Added support for Spindleclutch.
- v0.5: Added support for Fungal Grotto. Also shortened most boss tactics to fit better in chat windows.
- v0.6: Added support for Wayrest Sewers.
- v0.7: Added support for Darkshade Caverns.
- v0.8: Added support for Elden Hollow.
- v0.9: Added support for Aetherian Archive.
- v1.0: Added support for Crypt of Hearts, supports API 10007

Hi Ashema,

I can code it in so that the addon will show normal bosses during normal mode, and veteran bosses during veteran mode.

However, I don't really have time to get all the normal boss tactics as I'm working my way through veteran content ( yep, I actually play the game too

) There are quite a few bosses in normal mode ( ~15 * 6 ), and all tactics need to be nice and short and double checked. If someone could help with that I can create the code so the program supports it. Perhaps I'll add a single normal mode dungeon as an example in version 0.7 so people can upload other dungeon information if they like.

Hm, that would require quite a bit of coding. Granted, I will have to add menu's etc at some point when I add the boss mods to the addon (I will start with enrage timers). I will keep your request in mind as I go along, but don't expect it to be implemented any time soon, first I want to add all the tactics and boss locations and implement some basic boss mods/boss helpers.

What you could do in the meantime is post your tactics, either here or on pastebin, then I can check them out , if they make sense I can put them in an addon update. Please keep the tactics to less than 350 characters, since that is the max ESO will allow to copy/paste into chat.

Hey, thanks for the very fast reply. I can totally understand why someone would want to change tactics to this or that, which is why I made my submission

While I am able to change those tacs, I might have been too vague on what I meant. What I meant was a hint text for your addon telling those who don't have any idea on what to do to change the tactics how to do it (go to this file, open that, change the text over there).

Could be a switch in the addon settings like "Want to change the tactics? Click here for a how-to".

Just to make it more viable for those who might disagree with this or that tactic and still want to use the addon but maybe lack the knowledge where to change them

Harleyquincey Forum posts: 1 File comments: 2 Uploads: 0	If you could add a little tutorial description inside the addon how to replace the displayed tactics, that'd be just sheer awesome since many players might disagree with the tactics you or anyone else will deploy. Our guild for example uses Dulfy's guides wherever possible - others might use those from reddit users or use their own ones e.g. and it'd be epic if you could show how to easily swap the texts. This way it could become a powerful tool especially for guilds as well.

Hey Tony. I didn't know about Atlas, it looks like a promising addon. I have the loot links for a lot of the boss drops in BC (Staff of Conflagration anyone?) so I might be able to include in the addon. On the other hand, perhaps referring to an addon specifically for this purpose would be better fit, so I might just add a link to Atlas instead. Great idea, I'll add it to the "to do" list.

Mitsarugi: Will there be an API in Atlas that I can use for this purpose ?

The main purpose of this addon is :
- To show boss locations on minimap
- To provide boss tactics which can be linked in the chat for PUG runs
- To provide the first ESO BossHelper / BossMods.

In regards of the Atlas discussion, and as the main developer on Atlas, the following :
- Atlas knows the boss locations and shows them on the Atlas Map.
- Atlas, will most likely not provide boss tactics, if it can query another addon which can provide this information. I see this more as an addon on Atlas, then core functionality of it. On the other side we can make it also that if a certain addon registers, the functionality becomes available within Atlas.
- Atlas, on request, can provide an API for querying loot links for certain bosses, but imho the interface of Atlas should be better suited for giving an overview of loot for dungeons.
- Atlas, also on request, could be called for a certain boss, and it should be able to nvaigate to the corresponding dungeon and show the relevant loot.

Hi Tony,

wow, you're right, readme.txt becomes an "addon". I'll delete readme.txt with the next update, which hopefully will include the option to share/link tactics in chat.

As to whether you can see the boss icons: Did you enable Veteran mode in your "P" option ? The addon will only display veteran mode bosses, and at the moment, only in The Banished Cells. I'll add other bosses over time, as I do the instances. Or people can link the location of the bosses (get EsoHead addon and hover over map where boss is).

I guess I could add tactics for normal mode... if only I had more time

Atlas will have both these features in it dont worry
