Omni Stats  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 4.0.0
by: RunningDuck, M0R
OmniStats
A transparent, always visible window that shows the stats found on the character screen.

Features
  • New! There is a new and fancy selector for the displayables in the settings panel.
  • New! The window can now be locked in place.
  • Crit Damage is now displayable. The number shown does not include the +15% provided by the backstabber CP.
  • uespLog compatibility, adding two new displayable stats - Effective Spell Damage and Effective Weapon Damage
  • Display up to 43 stats, not only the normal 12
  • Select which stats to show
  • Select how much text to describe the stat, from space-saving and cryptic, to huge tracts of display and verbose
  • Buffed stats show in green
  • Debuffed stats show in red
  • Selectable layouts: 3-rows in 2-by-2, 2-columns, horizontal, vertical
  • Option to always show max or current values for health, stamina and magicka
  • Adjustable background alpha
  • Adjustable foreground alpha
  • Scalable between 50-300%
  • Options to hide in combat or out of combat
  • Option to auto-hide when in dialogs, menus, etc
  • Keybind available to toggle window on/off
  • Experimental: Display stats of target in parallel. Note, only available in the 2-rows layout mode. It is a bit of disappointment as most stats are blocked by the game.
  • Selectable thousand delimiter (between digit 3 and 4): Space, Dot, Comma or None
  • Settings can be saved per character or account-wide
  • Refresh interval can be decreased for faster changes

Controls
  • Left-click to move the window around (position is saved globally for all your characters)
  • Right-click to reset the stats their current values (e.g. when you have levelled or equipped new gear)
  • Add keybind to toggle the window. Menu/Control/Keybindings: User Interface/OmniStats toggle on/off"

Known Issues
  • Some stats, like Armor, are not always showing all special AvA bonuses, but possibly Physical Resistance is now correct
  • Stats are reputedly not soft capped after patch 6

Possible Future Features
  • Further layout customization
  • Selectable which order to display stats (might need added code in the setting subsystem)
  • Store base stats for the two weapon slots
  • Localization

I wonder if for future update there is a way to to have different add-on settings for each character. For example, on my magicka character, I use this add on to track my current spell damage. For my stamina character, however, I use it to track my weapon damage.

What I've noticed is every time I switch characters, I need to go into the add-on settings and adjust this each time.
Thanks, you are the best!

Been using 2.8, however, only now noticed the new option button to enable separate settings for each character on the account. This is a brilliant add-on, very helpful!

Adapted to Homestead (Update 13 - game version 2.7 - API 18)

Version 2.8.0 is adapted to Homestead (Update 13 - game version 2.7 - API 18)
New features: Settings per characters and selectable refresh time.
One suggestion that only made it to the list of future improvement is localization.

Shouldn't be too difficult, I add it to the list...

Hi Xego, I wasn't sure anyone needed it, but you present a fair case and I'll look into it for next update.
(But it's not obvious you have the time or interest to implement it before there is a need.)
Thanks!

Here is someone who not only finds a fault, but also identifies the root cause, and furthermore provides a solution! Me like!

In OmniStat version 2.7.1 I've included the patch and it seems to work.

Thanks XKent!

Toggling Stat window state by key is not working...

Main reason to have "Manual(keybind)" option is giving to user ability to show/hide omnistat window on demand. But this option is not working right in current version, toggling window by key just change its state for couple of ms(from hidden to visible and vice versa), returning to previous state (determined by AutoHide option)

Here is the fix:

1) Function OmniStatsToggleWindow() must looks like:
Code:
function OmniStatsToggleWindow()
	OStoggledOff = not OStoggledOff
	OmniStats.MainWindow:SetHidden(OStoggledOff)
end
where OStoggledOff is previously declared variable

2) And some changes for OmniStats.MainLoop()
Code:
   if AutoHide() then
        OmniStats.MainWindow:SetHidden(true)
    elseif SV.ShowManual == false then
	-->>your code here
    else
        -->>before
        --  OmniStats.MainWindow:SetHidden(false)
        --<<
        -->>after
	OmniStats.MainWindow:SetHidden(OStoggledOff)
        --<<
    end
    -->>your code here
of course this is the coarse solution, designed to fastfix issue, and you always can rewrite it in your own way.
Best regards and ty for addon!

Patch 12 One Tamriel

Plan is to try to update and bugfix it this weekend, if it goes well and IRL doesn't interfere.
