Displays cheapest way to craft certain potion, poison or alchemy master writ in its tooltip along with crafting cost, based on LibPrice prices. Changes potions' names and icons to reflect their actual effects and changes their quality color based on crafting cost

0-100 - Green
100-200 - Blue
200-300 - Purple
300+ - Orange
Defaults to green color if price can't be found




Currently changes icons for:
-(+Health/+Magicka/+Stamina) potion
-(+Health/+Magicka/+Stamina) poison
-(+Health/+HealthOverTime/+Vitality) potion
-(+Magicka/+Stamina/+Heroism) potion
-(+Magicka/+SpellCrit/+SpellPower) potion
-(+Stamina/+WeaponCrit/+WeaponPower) potion
-(+Unstoppable/+Health/+Magicka) potion
-(+Unstoppable/+Health/+Stamina) potion
-(+Unstoppable/+Detection/+Magicka) potion
-(+Unstoppable/+Speed/+Stamina) poison

You can change the way actual effect names are being "translated" into shorter names in the settings

Hey, in the newest update I split that option into 3 separate ones, so you can choose to disable custom names while keeping custom names and quality colors, thanks for the feedback!

I am very glad i found this addon, although i do have a small issue.
I really like the custom quality color option, but sadly if i turn off the custom names the color in my inventory will be always white. is this intended?

I already read the below comment on the bank / guildbank withdraw thing and this didnt help.
Do i have to use the custom names if i want the quality color options?

I did make sure on that, the setting price bracket values have not changed from your default and just to be sure I quit the game and went back in to make sure there was no lingering UI effect before reporting this.

Hmm, I just noticed something. I found some spell power pots on an alt and when i looked they showed as white in the bag. transferred them to the guild bank, now purple, back to the bag and still purple.

So I guess I have some "old" made pots before I installed your addon and as I had not moved them from one storage location to another your quality color code was not being applied.

Now I have moved them all out of the bank and then back in the color is as expected.

Edit: Update. When I log onto another char and look in the bank the color is white again. Took it out and put back so it was purple, then logged back to the char I used above and it showed again as white in the bank. So it looks as if its only a temporary color change that is lost at logout.

As i said in my first post I dont see it for me as a big deal , I was just informing you

Edit2: I play with 2 accounts on both PC NA and PC EU. When I look in the SavedVars I do not see any server separation just the 2 groups of data 1 per account name As I have not changed any of the default settings other than made it account wide (if that was not a default) so I expect this should be fine. I just add this note as it may be useful for you to know.

It wasn't intented, quality colors are supposed to be based on crafting cost but if you didn't have any price tracking addon (MM,TTC,ATT) it was defaulting to highest quality which is orange. It's fixed now and if you don't have any price tracking addons it will default to white.
Hi and thanks for looking at this, updated to the latest 1.15a.
Btw I use ATT and do have pricing and for the 4 poisons shown (cheapest - made for daily writs) all have a price.
On mouseover or with open popup tooltip or when the item is in the character bag the color is green as expected however with the item in the bank the color is now white (previously orange). The same applies for the 4 crafted writ potions.

Note: The inventory insight window has always shown all potions and poisons as white.


Could it be that you changed price brackets in the settings and didn't reload ui? Tooltip color changes immediately while color inside inventory needs a reload ui. That's just a wild guess though, I'm gonna download ATT and check it myself later.

I suppose its not such a big deal but the "Orange" color you use is exactly the same as Mythic Item Orange.

When I look in my inventory and see this specific orange I expect a Mythic item rather than a poison.

Maybe at some future time you may consider a different tone for your Orange

Allowing us to see the full function of a potion in the name is a big deal. Makes it easier to buy and sell potions for one thing! Thanks a bunch.
