This is the original LootDrop, updated for Greymoor with bugfixes and new options, as well as support for more loot types, guilds, and the new Antiquities system!

Pawkette's original LootDrop is a legendary ESO addon which I believe is still preferable to use even now that ESO has included its own built-in version of a loot tracker. It is my intent to maintain a current build that functions with all new game systems and mechanics as well as provide bug fixes and possibly new features (in the spirit of the original author's intent of course).

Release Changes:
  • Added support for discovery of new Antiquity Leads with proper icons in the loot drop window & chat log.
  • Added support for Psijic Order guild progress.
  • Improved guild progress support in general.
  • Added support for Jewelcrafting experience.
  • Added support for Writ Vouchers
  • Added support for Undaunted Keys
  • Added support for Transmute Crystals
  • Added support for Event Tickets
  • Cleaned up the in-game settings menu.
  • Fixed item style not displayed in chat debug output when selected.
  • Fixed extended display experience option showing fractional percentage gains as 0%.
  • Removed dependency on old LibStub and cleaned up libraries in general.
  • Added proper localization with support for French, German, Russian, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Polish, and English of course. (Need human translations!)
  • Various other cleanup and adjustment.
UPDATE:
  • Added new Skills section for controlling whether to display progress of certain skill trees in the LootDrop window.
  • Added various options for configuration (can hide skill tree name, show extended percent completion text, etc.).
  • Enabling 'World Skill Tree' will show Excavation, Scrying, Soul Magic, Vampire & Werewolf progress.
  • Enabling 'Weapon Skill Tree' will show Two-Handed, 1-Hand & Shield, Dual Wield, Bow, Destruction Staff & Restoration Staff progress.
  • Enabling 'Armor Skill Tree' will show Light, Medium, & Heavy armor progress.
  • Enabling 'AvA Skill Tree' will show Assault, Eperor, & Support progress.

Future Plans:
  • Add more options to customize fonts and colors for many aspects of the program.
  • Improve the options/behavior of different loot settings.
  • Implement other features/suggestions based on appropriateness to original mod intent.

Version 4.02:

  • Added support for gaining a new collectible (like a costume or skin). Working colors and links in chat output can be clicked to see item details.

  • Corrected issue where actual loot drop entries for antiquity leads would not display in the appropriate color for their quality level like chat output.

Version 3.9:
  • Fixed game reports vampire XP gain even when you don't have vampirism. Game bug? Added check if skill line is active, and also if already maxed rank, so skill tree XP should now never show when not appropriate even if reported by the game.
  • Fixed bug in last version that would generate errors when loot was received and chat output was enabled.

Version 3.8:
  • Added option to only show your loot in chat (when enabled) when above a selected quality color level (like group loot option).

Version 3.7:

Hi. Thanks for this great addon.

A question. Is it possible to limit the number of items showing at the same time?

I mean, sometimes the row occupy all the screen and I use other addons on the superior corner.

Hmm, that's odd since I haven't changed anything with the AP gained event or the function that runs when it happens. Regardless, please give this test version a try if you can. You will need to delete the \Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\LootDrop folder (or uninstall LootDrop from Minion) and then unzip the folder inside this file and copy it to where the old version you deleted used to be (\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\).

I was having trouble yesterday in Cyrodiil. AP was displaying additive at most points like it was just showing how much gained in the session, but at some points would spout non-sense like gaining 2,000,000 AP.

I did uninstall the ALL in One Version from 2016, which seems to be working for the currencies it supports.

Hi,

The difference between stacking and extended varies a little based on the type of loot displayed. For XP for example, extended adds the (0.1% -> 83%) progress indication after the experience values, telling you the percent of a level and total progress towards next level the XP you just got gave you. For skill progress, it just adds the % progress in that skill after the name and total gains. For currency, extended adds a summary of the value gained -> total value now held after the standard display.

Stacked vs. non-stacked is for keeping all gains in the selected type 'stacked' in a single LootDrop entry or not. For example at a crafting station, if you keep crafting over and over gaining inspiration, if LootDrop is set to stacked you will see one line for crafting XP pop up and it will update (with a 'pop' animation) each time you gain more of that resource, thus 'stacking' the results. It will add the gains together and display a running total since the first gain of that resource 'popped' into Lootdrop. Not stacking just adds a new LootDrop entry each time you gain the resource, so you might see multiple lines of the same resource displaying each individual gain, like you had looted multiple items.

As for global variables, the addon currently already uses only global variables, so settings are the same on all characters.

This is normal behavior since forever. The list will continue to grow, and if your setting for how long items display is higher than the rate they are added (opening a ton of daily crafting rewards or hireling mails comes to mind) it will grow to the point it scrolls off the screen in the direction you have selected, until the addon 'catches up.'

The height setting in the options does not actually effect this at all, and is in fact used to set the height of individual loot items in the list.

While it is certainly possible to change this, at this point the level of complexity introduced may not ultimately be worth it for the few situations you would actually have that much stuff being looted all at once. That said if enough people express an interest in this I will consider it.
That makes sense, I recently installed lazy writ crafter and it opens all when I collect, so I never noticed it before. I guess it's not really an issue to become bothersome, thank you.

One more issue I've noticed is that the loot stretches all the way up the side of my screen outside of the main frame dimensions. Not sure if I have a setting wrong, but I set the window size, location, and other settings the same way when using the old addon.

The latest version corrects the issue where actual LootDrop entries for antiquity leads names were not displayed in the correct color based on their quality level like the chat output. They are now colored appropriate to quality:

@crysis992, @Spidery, et al: The problem with vampirism progress showing was in part due to a strange behavior of the game where it sends vampire progress to the skill gained event even when you don't have the skill line, which does seem like a bug. I added some checks if the skill line is active and if it is already maxed, so there should be no more false reporting of vampire XP gains.

@crysis992 - I will look into making sure text is properly colored by quality for antiquity leads if possible.

Items printed in chat are already clickable to get the popup tooltip. However, things like currency and skill/XP gains do not have any link data to populate a tooltip.

Incredible. It happened to me for the first time that someone reacted so quickly. That was it.
I will suggest one more thing to the item names in clickable chat. So that you can see what a miracle it is. (I don't need it, but it can make life easier for others)

I'm also getting the Vampire xp. It's a fairly new character and it freaked me out, I thought maybe I accidentally got bit somehow, lol

Oh, you are right, leads do show up in the log but without the "Lead: <Lead Name>" or in German "Spur: <Lead Name>" and always without color, even tho I have the option enabled to color the loot names. When i reported this, I just checked for a golden color when I looted the boss.

Yes, I have the World XP enabled. It doesn't show it when I turn this off. But as soon as it is turned on, I always get the experience as Vampirism and normal experience.

Tested this on a vampire character, a non-vampire character and even on a werewolf character, all receive the experience for the vamp skill line when receiving xp from any source.
