Battlelog is a simple combat log information display. It was created to have a minimalistic integration without additional windows or unnecessary overhead.

It tells you what happened in combat.
It also tells you what did not happen in combat.
(For example, when you tried to dodge, but did not have enough stamina to do so. Then it tells you that it failed, why it failed and how much stamina you had and how much you would have needed.).

This version supports English right now only, but localization support will be added next.

This addon supports these slash commands:

/blog <number>
where <number> is the number of the chat tab you want the output to be in.
In example:
/blog 2
puts the output into the second tab of your chat window.
Default is the first tab.
/blog ts
toggles the generation of output timestamps.



Ability names appear sometimes in English and sometimes in your client language if you are not using the English client. This is NOT a bug of the addon. This is ZOS crappy localization. In example, when you do damage with Killer's Blade, you get the localized name. If you get the healing part from Killer's Blade, it will always be in English. Working around this issue will take some time.

This version contains some/rare debug output, especially for PvP events. If you want to help to improve the addon, send me the debug output as text or screenshot. If you don't want to help, either ignore the output or wait till the final version is published.

Hello,
I want to say: thanks for this addon, it's a great job!

I want to know if is possible to change color on damage I take and on Heal I recive?

And in the future, can we separate the damage I take and the damage I do in differente windows?

About disease damage

Hi
Very great addon, thank you. I like the fact that it tells me the incoming damage type (fire, frost, physical etc.) Sometimes, it is not obvious.
But i have a question : i see in the lua that you output disease damage as physical damage (line 63). But i suppose it is not quite the same thing. If not, why such a glyph would exists ?

(edit : this is a jewelry glyph, not a weapon glyph. There is a little mistake on the wiki)

weird - molag bal. SPOILER!!!!!

molag bal is an instanced fight. you have to do it solo. nobody there but me. not sure how he died. cant repeat quest, it is the final conflict before veteran

There is only output for stuff the player is causing or receiving, as Zenimax censored the remaining data.
So if you didn't deal the finishing blow, then there is no output for any mob.

i never got a log message when molag bal died.
he stunned me just before he died. i didnt get a message as to what hit him next - may have been a DoT, may have been lightning form.
this will likely be impossible to troubleshoot but i thought you would want to know.

They already have....?
Damages should be blueish and mob names brighter...

Another request would be can we choose to have it in a separate window?

You can use the ChatMultiWindow addon to put chat tabs into a new container window and then point the output to the tabs in those new windows. So yes, you can do this already.

can you make it with different colours for skill name, mob name, damage etc etc. its difficult to read it like it is now.

Another request would be can we choose to have it in a separate window?

I'm not the reporter, and I'm only guessing here so take this with a healthy dose of salt. But I suspect this may have to do with knockbacks failing because it would place the target in some illegal position (eg inside a wall). In other words, NO_LOCATION_FOUND might refer to mob placement rather than the spell failing to hit some location.

Just throwing this out there in case you have trouble tracking this one down. Great mod, thanks.
