RAETIA InfoHub

InfoHub's main goal is to provide maximum information about your gameplay in an easily customizable way, which keeps it flexible and convenient. The modular nature of the addon gives you total control over the information displayed. RAETIA InfoHub allows users to fine-tune the display of specific widgets on-screen to optimize their game window's real-estate while still staying informed at all times. Modules can be attached to a bar or freely positioned wherever you want, depending on your preference. This addon provides users with a comprehensive heads-up display of all their character's most critical information. InfoHub offers supportive features to any character build and its development will continue with this goal in mind.


ADDON FEATURES

• Floating widgets (modules) that can be positioned anywhere on the screen.
• Each module has it's own font type, style, size, icon size, background alpha and coloring options.
• Modules can be adjusted with drag/drop or by setting exact screen coordinates in the settings panel.
• Each module has it's own icon and they have 7 different size options.

• The 'Legatus Bar' is an information bar that lets you organize selected modules in the desired order.

- Settings > Addons > RAETIA InfoHub > Legatus Hub (Bar Settings)
- While active, the compass can be adjusted automatically to preserve room for Legatus.
- Legatus' background can be a solid color or a custom texture.
- The bar contains 24 custom textures and even their colors can be altered!

• You can have different settings for each character and copy from one to another if you choose.
• There are 6 auto-hide options for the Legatus Bar and freely positioned modules.
• A selection of separator formats lets you choose between (.) and (,) for large numerals.
• Modules have a coloring system which lets you know about specific statuses. Generally these colors are green, orange and red.
• You may draw a grid to the screen with RAETIA InfoHub. It lets you position your modules with care.

- History option added for Chamberlain. That lets you see older records in another panel with the same detailed information. There is a little button at the bottom right end of the Chamberlain panel, with this you can open that new history panel and switch between days with using back and forward buttons.



- A button added to InfoHub settings page which sends your character information like name, gender, race, ava rank etc to me via in-game mail. This is only intended for non-english client users to help me figure out that which texts have that ^m, ^dn like characters on their modules. You will see what you are about to send before you actually send it. Button only opens mail panel with info written in it. If you are familiar with these, you know that there is no risk. These are basic information that everyone see. I expect a few mails from our French and German users.

Changes

- Chamberlain manual show/hide feature changed. Now Chamberlain will be hidden manually and will be seen when you only press it's corresponding key. Old way was idiotic I accept.

- A little improvement made for Zone module. If you have "Subzone(Zone)" format selected and if both values are same, you will only see "Subzone" name. Example -> "Stormhaven (Stormhaven)" will be "Stormhaven".

- Lycanthropy string changed a bit. "Wrath!" and "Fury!" removed. New format -> [Icon] Werewolf » [Seconds]s.

Experimental

- I've tried to normalize CXP module's sign names in German clients (and French if it has such thing). "Magier^blabla" should be "Magier" only now.

Additions

- A new module, AvA Rank added. It shows your current rank progress as current rank, earned points in that rank and target point to rise your rank (title). It has two main formats which one has a single line with the information I just wrote and other one is a multine format and has a few extra information like home campaign, guest campaing, alliance points, current and next ranks with icons.

- AvA Rank module can be used on Legatus or as a free module. Also it has an option to automatically show itself when you are in Cyrodill.



Changes

- Version control added for character settings copying.
- "Player Information" module changed. I removed character race, class, name etc. texts and only kept game play times. It's name changed to "Time Played" and shows your character's total play time and current session play time.
- Notification module options added. It was forcing you to show what I put on code if it was enabled, because I wasn't completed it. Now it works as intented. These module's content will expand, currently it warns you about a coming whisper, when a weapon automatically recharged and when you have general durability below 25%. These guys are optional to show.

Bug Fixes

- As I saw, wiki was a bit outdated so fencing and laundry values weren't adding to Chamberlain database. I fixed it. Now income area has "Fencing" line which show what you got for your sold stolen items and expense area has "Laundry" which mean what you paid to launder items.

I suggest you to reset your ledger with this update.

- Saving settings method changed from Account Wide to Character Specific. From now on, each character will have it's specific settings.
- A new feature added to settings menu that lets you copy a character's settings to your active character. So, you won't have to do the same things for all characters. Just make a base one and copy it's settings to others. After copying, change only part you want.
- With this new change, Chamberlain will have different records for each character, so you won't need to select a character.
- Account name in Player Info module changed to character name due to new change.

Introducing new extended module series. They will be more detailed than normal modules and probably will have their own panels.

Starting with "Chamberlain", a gold flow tracker. Basically, an accountant.

- It tracks your gold income, expense and bank transactions.
- Each record will be stored daily and there is no max. limit as day.
- Only one character can be tracked at the moment. You can switch between them.
- Total records, it's size in saved variable file, daily average profit/loss and yesterday's pl also can be shown on module.
- Data can be purged manually from settings menu.
- It has two views, Extended and Summary.
- Typical detailed setting created also for this new extended module.
- A keybind can be added to show and hide panel.

You can check screenshots to see how it looks like.

Bug Fixes

- Auto-repair cost on chat message was double of real cost. It's fixed.
- Subtitles won't stuck on screen after hitting ALT-TAB.
- Durability module won't show weird characters when there is no armor equipped.

Additions

- A first time install chat message added to InfoHub to tell new users what to do next.
- SINGLE_SLOT_UPDATE won't be triggered when you are under arrest to prevent overusage of this event. It won't affect your modules.

**Notice: I've changed Champion XP formats but I don't force a setting reset. Because of that, you need to go to Legatus module list and select Champion XP again. Because it's written as "Champion Points" in your saved variable file and addon won't see new "Champion XP" name. Just select it again then go to it's page in settings menu and do the same for both Champion XP and Enlightment formats. It's easier this way than completely redesigning whole addon.

Changes

- Name of "Champion Points" module changed to "Champion XP". I'll make a module to show Champion Points allocation so I preserve that name from now.

- Zone module updates improved. Now It'll also be updated after teleporting somewhere or after a loading screen.

- Minor format changes made for Champion XP module.

- Mount name and long remaining time warnings removed from Mount module. It's just remaining time now like "19h".
- Same change made on also research modules. Acronyms like RFC, UC removed and there is only one timer now. For example Blacksmithing is like "BS (2/3) - 3d".
- Enable New UI, Unlock UI and Progress Bar hiding options removed, there is only grid feature enabled now. They won't be added back, I recommend using "Azurah" for this thing.

While you use reaction colours for reticle texture, you can now customize target information colours or just to composite, while you use a single colour for reticle texture, you may use reaction colours for target information etc
- Partial colouring modes added to the all of the current parts of the target information. For each part you may choose, "Difficulty Mode", "Reaction Mode", "Alliance Mode" and "Single Colour Mode". Gender and Race also have part-specific modes.
- Snake, Monkey, Frog and Bantam Guar added to the critters list
- New reaction colour "No Target" added
- New partial colour "No Allegiance" added for Alliance Mode

Subtitle Changes

- Default fade time increased to 20 seconds

Chat Module Changes

- Background textures added from Seerah's LMP-MediaStash. Currently there are 13 background textures. Also its still possible to use solid black coloured background (If you have a good resource for free-to-use background textures, please tell me so we can add them)
- New Icon sizes added. I don't prefer using scaling so I gave 3 new sizes. Now size options are, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64. Also, If you choose 16 or 24, background height of bar won't be smaller than needed, it will adjust itself as current InfoHub font size * 2

Reticle & Target Changes

- A new option added that lets you ignore level 1 neutral critters and animals like rat, beetle, chicken, sheep and pig as target information. Bugs that you use for fishing and other friendly or unique named animals (like cat, horse) won't be ignored
- A new colour added for dead units. Premade colour is grey-ish
- Colouring settings remade. Now you have two options, one is "Complete Reaction Colouring" which colours the target information completely, even with symbols like [] with the reaction of target. Other one is "Partial Colouring" and that lets you choose some other colouring modes and options for each part of the general target information.

I wish I could assist you here and implement some further improvements to this addon, but I am no longer on the 'support team' of this particular addon. I pissed off the original developer. Kraeius immediately removed all my access to RAETIA InfoHub months ago when I requested ownership of the project (I assumed pride took priority at that time). I must have offended with my request and was immediately dismissed from the team after the fact. I thought I was releasing some quality updates that players where enjoying and fixing some crucial modules while maintaining this addon over the years, but petty disagreements sadly ruined that dynamic for everyone moving forward. I will not be exploited further for intellectual value, so the original author and I are no longer cooperating. If he wants to fix his own busted addon to claim credit that will suit me just fine. It's been a few years since they sat in the pilot's seat. Not that they aren't fully capable, I just don't see it happening this last decade.. with all due respect. That's why I showed up here cooking out updates in the first place.. now that the support team is fully disbanded I don't know how I can proceed. If there is some amicable resolution found later I will of course do what I can to sort out the updates. In the meantime, oh well *shrug*. Onwards to my other projects.

NOTE: This is the second time I have had to repost this response here, due to the fact the 'author' has now resorted to deleting my replies to other members for absolutely no discernable reason. No matter, this is being fully documented and I will be keeping a record of this behavior for the administration if it continues. Tell ya what - I'll even eat a healthy serving of crow and delete my own comment if I see a significantly constructive update posted here before 2023. How about that? I think that's fair, considering that's all players really need anyway. I would submit an optional patch upload myself but considering my comments are having a hard time surviving I am hesitant to believe any file uploads will either. You can probably see the predicament.

I will maintain a personal copy of RAETIA InfoHub on my own computer that is up to date with the latest game version because I still find it useful. I encourage everyone else who is capable with LUA and XML coding to do the same. If experience has taught me anything it's that you shouldn't hold your breath. Updates released here will likely be a rarity.
I'm sorry for the late response, I've been unable to play the game or even talk to the community in the last months due to being away overseas because of work. That being put aside, It really saddens me to hear such things about ESO's community, it's something I really was not expecting, toxicity was never an issue in ESO universe.
For what it counts, I side with you on this one P5ych3... I really don't see the point of maintaining an addon out there just for the sake of getting credits for it since it is no longer being developed or at least maintained up to date and running as intended. I'm sure that if he'd given you ownership of the addon he would still have been mentioned as it's original creator in the description and everyone would have been happy and grateful to both of you for getting to experience this addon at it's full potential. I'm glad that this time he did not delete your comment and everyone is aware of the addon's issue, since the addon and what it brings to the community is what matter in the end, at least to some.

Nevertheless, it is what it is, this addon seems obsolete to me since Kraius doesn't want to take it further or even allow someone to take care of it, no biggie, there are others doing the same thing, even better considering Raetia's state right now. I liked the customisation options it had, but I can do without.

Yeah, some of that is a bit off isn't it. I totally hear you man. I want to be there for you. I could potentially fix those issues too. Probably wouldn't even be difficult or take that long, honestly.. you should PM me later if you absolutely need to. I don't have much faith posting solutions in this specific thread currently, but you can reach out to me if required and I will do my best.

I wish I could assist you here and implement some further improvements to this addon, but I am no longer on the 'support team' of this particular addon. I pissed off the original developer. Kraeius immediately removed all my access to RAETIA InfoHub months ago when I requested ownership of the project (I assumed pride took priority at that time). I must have offended with my request and was immediately dismissed from the team after the fact. I thought I was releasing some quality updates that players where enjoying and fixing some crucial modules while maintaining this addon over the years, but petty disagreements sadly ruined that dynamic for everyone moving forward. I will not be exploited further for intellectual value, so the original author and I are no longer cooperating. If he wants to fix his own busted addon to claim credit that will suit me just fine. It's been a few years since they sat in the pilot's seat. Not that they aren't fully capable, I just don't see it happening this last decade.. with all due respect. That's why I showed up here cooking out updates in the first place.. now that the support team is fully disbanded I don't know how I can proceed. If there is some amicable resolution found later I will of course do what I can to sort out the updates. In the meantime, oh well *shrug*. Onwards to my other projects.

NOTE: This is the second time I have had to repost this response here, due to the fact the 'author' has now resorted to deleting my replies to other members for absolutely no discernable reason. No matter, this is being fully documented and I will be keeping a record of this behavior for the administration if it continues. Tell ya what - I'll even eat a healthy serving of crow and delete my own comment if I see a significantly constructive update posted here before 2023. How about that? I think that's fair, considering that's all players really need anyway. I would submit an optional patch upload myself but considering my comments are having a hard time surviving I am hesitant to believe any file uploads will either. You can probably see the predicament.

I will maintain a personal copy of RAETIA InfoHub on my own computer that is up to date with the latest game version because I still find it useful. I encourage everyone else who is capable with LUA and XML coding to do the same. If experience has taught me anything it's that you shouldn't hold your breath. Updates released here will likely be a rarity.

Please download the latest version when you get a chance. This problem has been resolved and subtitles are working as expected now. The newest release is patched for High Isle / update 34.

I sorted that issue out so subtitles will function as expected. This is fixed in version 1.2.4+!

Is there a way to increase the size of the background? When I increase the font size it pushes the text off the bottom of the background.

Also subtitle font size keeps resetting itself.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I've never tried RAETIA before, having used "Wykkyd Toolbar" [1] all this time.
I like its style but there are a couple of things missing for me:
  • Jewelry Research Timer
  • Character - Name, Race, Class
  • Tickets
  • Writ Vouchers

Also, some of the icons are not logical, e.g.
  • a key icon for the bank inventory numbers
  • swirly thing for soul gems

An option for ISO 8601 / rfc3339 date format (YYYY-MM-DD) would also be nice.
