IMPORTANT NOTE: If the action bar or other items are not saving position when moving in gamepad mode, you MUST /reloadui after changing modes before Azurah will work! This is due to a game engine limitation where internal references that share names are not updated completely until a reload (see Misc section of Azurah's general tab.) Azurah has an option to automatically reload when swapping modes.

UPDATE: Azurah is now fully compatible with Harvest Map, including the Spawned Resource Filter options, even if you move or resize the compass!

Description:
Azurah enhances the interface by providing additional information and customization options while maintaining most of the stock look and feel of the game's standard UI.

Current Features:
  • NEW: Added Action Bar options to block activation of Mage Light & Expert Hunter (and morphs).
  • NEW: Added a new option "Compass Label Position" to change vertical position of the label text relative to the compass.
  • NEW: Fully customize the compass including moving and resizing, while being fully compatible with Harvest Map!
  • NEW: Separately configure in-combat and out of combat opacity levels for all modified frames.
  • NEW: 'Undo Changes' button and right-click ability to undo changes to single windows since unlock.
  • Unlock the interface windows allowing them to be moved anywhere on the screen and scaled in size.
  • Set a minimum level of transparency for your attributes or have them always shown.
  • Lock the size of your attributes so food no longer makes them larger.
  • Display text overlays showing your and your target's attributes.
  • Show an overlay displaying your current level of Ultimate power.
  • Colour the target's health bar, name and level by its reaction to you, or its expected difficulty.
  • Show target player's class icon (and alliance icon) beside their name
  • Show other players by character name or @account name (or both) and other options.
  • Set an overlay for your experience bar as well as setting it to always be shown.
  • Several options to block accidental stealing when not fully hidden to avoid unwanted bounty.
  • Show when your backpack's contents change with extra options to warn you when your bag is nearly full.
  • Show a timer for the remaining duration of your Werewolf transformation.
  • Ability to enable account wide settings to apply the same choices to all characters on your account.

All of the above features include several options for personalization accessed from the Addon Settings menu under Azurah.
Additionally, the ability to unlock the interface for movement can be accessed via the chat window using the slash commands:

/azurah unlock = unlock UI for movement
/azurah save = lock UI and save positions
/azurah undo = undo all pending changes
/azurah exit = lock UI without saving

I have a major issue with the update. With it activated and I used it to move bars up for Alternative Attribute Bars, the keyboard & mouse becomes mostly unresponsive. I can still move and type text, but I can't switch chat tabs, use ESC to see the system options on the left or quit. I can't bring up any menu.

I use Toogle Error to hide error messages

Any chance of making the elements that contain what tells you the Housing Editor keybind is while you're in a home movable/scalable/concealable? They're in really annoying positions by default and overlap the normal UI in both kb/m and gamepad mode. Cheers!

I have a weird bug with how Ultimate keybinds and companion Ultimate keybinds are showing on the UI - somehow I'm getting a double image. Screenshot here since it's easier that describing it. Tried resetting binds to default, makes no difference.

I'd like to tweak the compass, but it gets automatically hiden in menus, and there is no preview button for it in Azurah as fa as I can tell.
Is there any way around it?

Oh btw, is it technically possible to make the compass label show up below the compass or not? That could be useful in cases where one uses one of the toolbar addons.

P.S. There is a small typo in general-disable activity tracker. It says battlgrounds

Only when you want to move things with Azurah. Once you have things where you want them you can switch modes without reload. But, if you want to move something, and you have switched modes since your last load/reload, you need to /reloadui once to "cement" the current mode before you move things. After that you're good. There is an option on Azurah's general tab to auto-reload when you switch though, just in case.

You can use /azurah unlock to unlock while not in a menu, and then hit the Toggle In-Game Cursor key (default '.') to let you move the mouse around to move things outside menus. You can accomplish the same from the addon settings by just hitting Escape after you unlock so you can see what you are moving.

Unfortunately setting the size of the compass is only ablke to be done in menus ATM, but I will look into making it show when you open the compass tab in the next update.

I am not able to get this to happen in testing, after toggling the hide option on and off several times and hitting buttons (switching between keyboard and gamepad buttons, etc.). It almost looks like another addon is trying to put its own icons in that area on top of the defaults. Can you try temporarily disabling everything but Azurah and see if it happens? If so is it that way on reload, or is there some sequence of actions that make it happen?

I have what I think is the same issue but I would describe it as the whole interface is missing. I can hit I for inventory, and seemingly nothing happens but I am in the inventory interface, just nothing changes. Go to the banker, hit E to chat, nothing shows on screen but I can tell I am in the banker interface as the banker zooms in and becomes the focus of the scene. I can even enter doors if needed as the keys work, just not showing anything on the interface anymore.



Consequently I can't see the Esc menu's, can't get into to change addons or settings, can't do anything really except run around. Most of the time when playing around trying to get things to happen the mouse becomes free and I can't get it back so I can look around, just move the char while looking in a fixed position.



Lastly as was mentioned, can always type and of course to a /rl if needed, just not see the interface with Azurah 2.4.25 loaded. 2.4.24 revert works fine as a workaround for now and I'll try the new version when it comes out to see if it fixes my issue.



I have so many addons in various profiles (addon selector) that it's hard to know which is conflicting. I can say that my crafting profile with all the popular crafting addons does it, my very very trim PvP addon loadout with just a measly 10 addons also does this, my dungeons loadout and the associated addons. The one common addon I could make a guess that might be conflicting is perfect pixel, but haven't done any testing on that.



Just wanted to provide feedback is all. Great job on developing and maintaining the addon!

@choekstr - It sounds like one of your addons is using an outdated embedded library. My guess would be something using an old version of LibAddonMenu. You can try using a program like Notepad++ and Search -> Find in Files then search your addon folder, and look for any addons that put LibAddonMenu in a subfolder of their own addon. If you find it, you can generally delete that sub-folder copy of the library and so long as you have the latest standalone version installed (top of the Azurah description has the link) everything should work. However if you get any errors or just in general you should let the author know they are bundling an outdated library that is breaking things and they should really not do that. They should require you always to download the latest version of the standalone libraries they use. Bundling libraries is the cause of a HUGE number of addon conflicts.

It might not be LibAddonMenu, it could be another library, but that would be my guess. There is nothing really that Azurah changed from 2.4.24 that should make such a difference in compatibility though. It added one SecurePostHook which the game handles, and all that does is set the opacity level of a control AFTER the normal game function does it's thing. Nothing that should conflict with any other addon.

Have you tried deleting and manually re-installing the latest Azurah in case of a download corruption?

It's like that as soon as the game loads. Have tried disabling all addons and unrelated libraries, still getting double icon effect. Should note that it's only happening since this latest update for Update 33.

So I swapped just the ActionBar.lua file from the previous version, and it fixed the issue. A file comparison between 2.4.24 and 2.4.25 shows that you added two lines at 118 and 119 of the latest version:

I don't know what this aims to do, but suppressing them removed the double icon bug. So while I've sourced the issue, at least for my UI, I don't know the reason behind it as I don't know the functions involved, not being a Lua coder, rather a bit of experience in PHP helps me check code without necessarily understanding it.

Ultimate Relative Percent not following both bars...

Greetings, and thanks for the addon!

My ultimates on front and back bars have different costs, one is 70, the other 250.
The relative percent this addon displays picks only one of them and sticks to it.
Is it possible for the percentage to change with each bar swap and correctly display the percentage for that particular ulti skill?

I narrowed the problem down to the Azurah addon. With that disabled everything works fine again.

Now, I think Azurah was great, but I would only need it for 2-4 addons. I wonder if I can make certain addons move in the proper location by modifying their lua code. The default location for the AA bars addon is too low. What and where should I look for and what to modify?

If using Azurah I often would like to move a group of bars to make room for an addon 10-20 px by holding shift and an arrow key. For fine tuning without the shift a few px nudge.

Is it possible to implement an option in Azurah to auto group select bars that are in the way of the new addon using shift click to add and ctrl click to remove bars. Now i have to move each one by one and it's difficult to move them an equal distance.

The problem you described doesn't sound like something Azurah could be causing. Azurah's functions are all event driven, meaning they only happen once each time certain game events occur. What you described (mouse and keyboard locking up/lagging unresponsive) sounds like code that runs in a loop getting stuck. Basically something that constantly checks for a condition to be met and runs when it is true, but something causes it to think it is stuck as true and it just keeps running every update, causing UI lag. Azurah doesn't contain any loop functions.

I would recommend temporarily disabling all addons except Azurah and enabling them one at a time until the behavior repeats. If you can narrow down what is causing it, maybe I can make a compatibility patch, or talk to the addon author about fixing it.

@MarcusUK - Should be fixed in the next release. I can't understand how setting the opacity level of a control makes it duplicate, but I have seen it too. The only problem now is that without that code the ultimate keybind will still show even with the setting to hide keybinds. It only shows in keyboard mode though, or when you switch the controls to keyboard in gamepad mode by hitting a keyboard key. I may still be able to get a workaround but one keybind showing is better than duplicates.

@Tazmyr - I will look into it ASAP. Not sure if it is related to @MarcusUK's issue but it should definitely update to the bar you are on.

Gamepad users only need to enter Keyboard mode to briefly use addons that don't have gamepad support, if they have any, so won't really care what icons are on the action bar for that because it'll be in the background. There is an option to always show the gamepad icons even when using the mouse but not having changed modes. That masks the issue on mine for the time being, but it's not like I switch between playing with gamepad one minute and keyboard the next - doubt anyone does. Only time I've ever done that was when the battery went dead on my wireless controller and I had to move myself into a safe spot for a moment while I changed battery. TBH, I don't even know the majority of ESO's keyboard binds apart from usual WASD to move, I for inventory, M for map and my own 0 bind to toggle between modes.

Major new update in testing...

Hi all.

Just wanted to give a quick status update on a major new feature currently in final testing. After hearing multiple people suggest it, I have added the ability to set opacity (transparency) per-frame. Additionally, you can enable a second slider for opacity in combat! Azurah will then automatically swap your frames between your in-combat and out of combat opacity level per-frame, so you can for example hide your action bar and other frames (opacity 0) but make them show up when in combat (opacity 100).

I'm going to add an option to have it respect your in-game setting for attribute bars so you can make them invisible out of combat but still have them show if you are missing resources. Also I added a global toggle you can hotkey or change in settings that will swap between your custom opacity settings and the default 100% so you can quickly show all your hidden frames anytime you need to see something.

Testing should take another day or so and then I should be ready for initial public release!
