DuraMeter

Overview

DuraMeter is an addon that will display a small box on the screen to give you an idea of how damaged your gear is overall at all times. It also features a function when you hover over the frame with your mouse, it will give you individual conditions in a new window.

If you would like to see the individual items durability in their slot on the equipment menu check out Biki's Inventory Item Borders addon.

Features

Displays average durability of all items equipped.
Will display indiviual item durabiliy upon hover of main frame.
Saves position between sessions on each character.
Able to toggle the Background of the main frame with the command /durameterbg
Will save if you toggle background per character.

On a side note, I have enabled outside patching, as this addon is working as intended for it's purpose, so I don't see any code changes happening on my end. However, if you'd like to add some functionality to it, feel free to upload it as a patch.

Changed background from generic texture.

Improved code to calculate overall durability.

Added the feature to save the position of the window if it gets moved.

Added when you hover over the Item Durability, another box pops up showing each individual items durability.
Added buffer function so it does not updated on every frame.
Fixed an issue when no items with durability are equipped. Or on a new character.

You can move it now, yes. But I have not yet added for it to save where it moves to. I will be adding these features when I can!

crackmaster Forum posts: 2 File comments: 26 Uploads: 0	i have armor repaired in shop, then after it shows only 83% full. when i unequip items i get error message. im also not wearing a helmet or shoulder armor if that has something to do with it. edit: bug also happens with new character and have to disable to remove it.

I wear all heavy armor so maybe this could be a place to start. I noticed when equipping a helmet only, i get 100% durability. probably normal I noticed when wearing Shirt, Pants, Shoes, and Belt only the on screen Durability displayed - "None" ; although the %'s in the inventory window were still showing correctly. I noticed when wearing a glove only the durability went up to 83% (on bottom left display) I noticed when wearing a glove and shoulder pad only the durability went up to 87% (on bottom left display) Finally when wearing a shoe and helmet only i got 99% because my shoe was showing 98% although when wearing shoes only durability shoes none again. I tested with Heavy armor only. i have no idea if the problem persist with other armor types (medium, light) I have resorted to checking my inventory to see the correct %'s of each individual piece of armor.
