Most important things disabled by ZOS
I released what's left

This addon does:
  • Undo/Redo buttons. You don't need to accept changes (which has costs) to be enable to undo things. Disabled by ZOS
  • Save interim results as "Fashion". (But can not applied to outfits.)
  • Fashion can be shared across characters and other players.
  • Color dye navigation with key-binds.
  • Style Navigation.
  • Single click selection for styles.
  • Searchbox saving different text for dyes, styles and fashions.
  • Reset search text, if focusing with a right-click.
  • Fixing dye sample tool: Reset search filter, if the sampled color does not match.
  • Preserve all three dye slots, so that they do not get lost if selecting a style with just two or one dye slot(s).
  • New dye grouping: Metallic/Matte

This addon is not a work-a-round paying gold or tokens to change your outfit. If your swap outfit regulary consider to buy more slots

How to share Fashion
With /getfashion your current outfit fashion code (<vof>) is printed to chat. Or use the context menu of the Fashion list. You can put it into the clipboard to mail it to other players or post it in forums.
With /setfashion <vof> the string is applied to your character. Applying unlocked/possible collectibles and dyes only.
With /addfashion <vof> the original code is added to your Fashion list for later use.

Dye/Style Navigation
The key-binds to navigate will not be visible. But you can use them, if you have assigned keys to them in the "Controls" game settings.
If you hover a dye slot on the left side with the mouse pointer, this color automatically change on navigating. Otherwise the current selected dye color is changed only.

I'm still working on it. There may be bugs. I also need some testers for non-ESO+. If you like to help, feedback is welcome.

Advanced filtering. Goes into the same direction as the request of @Tonyleila. I may can implement something which comes close to what you want.

Yeah, I know that problem. Some light armor looks like cheep synthetic plastic stuff with some dyes. But the same dyes do not have this effect on other styles/armor type. Classifing the dyes is not that clear. I keep on doing.

I'd second this as a feature request. If you can find a way to get it working, that would be wonderful! I understand you create/maintain a lot of add-ons, so please don't feel like I'm pressuring.

Categorization of reflective vs matte colors would be great too, though I understand that the way they're applied to different materials, and even different items of the same material can have different results. Perhaps just a general categorization with the added caveat in the description that it may not be totally accurate & can be subjective.

I am not sure about the preview in empty world. Crafting preview has this, and it's horrible. Unless it's configurable in some way (because in that particular addon, it surrounds your character in extremely bright blue-white light), I'd say it's not the way to go.

I woud suggest to put all colors I did not test in a Untested category so that ppl who have them can post the right one here!

I woud also suggest to make MATT not the default category so that if ZoS adds new deys they are added to UNTESTED...? if that is possible.

Buttons not working

Hello,
when in the "Fashion" tab with a selected style some of the buttons at the bottom are overlaying eachother so it's nearly impossible to click on them.
Also, the buttons in "Fashion" only do something if at least one keybind is defined.

I am using the german client.

Ja, das liegt an der deutschen Sprache + den nicht gerade schmallen Tastenbezeichnungen, die Du gewählt hast. Mal sehen, ob ich da was tun kann.

I love this. Just made my first outfit using your interface. Truly a pleasure to use. The addition of dye ids to the dye stamps is much appreciated.

This really is some outstanding work, like all your stuff. I couldn't believe how much tedium it alleviated. You are a hero and an inspiration!

Just one small thing to report. After using the outfit system and testing appearances and dye combinations and then exiting the station without committing the changes, if you open your inventory and go to the collections section (where your outfits and skins and mementos and stuff are) it will be blank until you reload the UI.

Huh? Really? Ok. I check that. I guess it depends on which tab was active when leaving the station, right?

Sorry to hijack the post, but this made me wonder if i use the addon correctly

So you mean that if i create different outfit (based on armor motif i know and i add them to the addon by using *new*, i should be able to find them into the collections section ?

Just asking because actually i can only use those saved outfit by going to a station or buying outfit slots.

I am not sur i understand well, sorry if i went all wrong

It is exactly as you said. You can save "Fashion" to changed one of your outfit slots at the station.

It is exactly as you said. You can save "Fashion" to changed one of your outfit slots at the station.

I was just lost as Phinix was speaking to do so by opening inventory. Within my inventory i have so far no access to your fashion section
